Super friendly and helpfull staff from frontdesk, housekeeping, waiter, bartender, gardener. Love the properties.

Helpful and friendly staff. They solved all kinds of problems. Useful shuttle services (to the city centre, to the beach and to the supermarket) were provided by the hotel for free. Our nice villa with private pool was very much appreciated by the whole family. We also liked to have the possibility to cook our own food. Pool and beach towels for free.

We are glad we didn't go for the All Inclusive, it looked a bit overrated.. It's a bit far from other restaurants (you are somewhat dependent to eat at the hotel if you don't have a car, at least in the evenings).

Resort is kept very clean, and the concierge/tour booker was very helpful and nice. Also, the front desk is open 24/7.

Service at the restaurants and pool bar were very slow; meals were also very expensive. The king sized bed is actually two smaller beds pushed together. Plus, there was no way to reheat leftovers:(

The room was spacious the kitchen and the living room was also very nice. I like the "home"feeling to this hotel.

There was a smell in the bathroom. Nothing that kept me from sleeping but that was the only thing that I can say that maybe they could take a look at.

Cleanliness around pool area could have been better. Dishes not picked up overnight, chairs not straightened, towels still lying about.

Acoya is a nice resort, very well landscaped with nice villas and very well kept are. Very nice pool to enjoy all day long. I really enjoyed walking around the compound or just sitting by the lake to enjoy the many birds and tiny turtles in the water. Our one bedroom apartment was very comfy with all necessities in the kitchen to cook and dine. The facility is very close to mambo beach and many other attractions, especially when you rent a car.

I didn't like the fact that there was little flexibility for an early check in, even though my toddler was not feeling well after traveling for many hours. I had emailed beforehand to request an early check in but there had been no respond. The maid was very moody and unpleasant. She couldn't understand us when we would indicate to her that we were leaving in a bit, she was always in a hurry to clean up even while we were in the apartment.

Great resort. We has a spacious 3 bedroom apartment with good beds and everything else you may need: a refrigerator, an oven, TV with movie channels, enough clean towels, and so on. Mambo beach is not too far (3 minutes by car). We even got a drink at the reception :) Definitely recommended!

They have to put the Jacuzzi again,i really miss the Jaccuzi ad Pool,for the next year when i visit Acoya again i want to get in the Jacuzzi again .

The bed was not comfortable i dont like the fact that it has 2 bed frame that can separate when you sleep. That was very disappointing. The room had a connecting door this was not locked as soon as i called the front desk some one came by to lock it..

The property was beautiful and I enjoyed having shuttle service to the surrounding locations including the beach

1st I had to change rooms after my first night and the second room had a constant foul order reeking from under the kitchen sink roon 2318 after notifying the front desk it took 2 days before someone from maintenance came to address it and ultimately I was advised the smell was coming from pipes in the wall. Unfortunately for me all of the pipes that held waste from the other units run into the apartment that I was in. The smell was so foul that it literally made me sick and nauseous when in the apartment. Furthermore I was not offered any compensation for the huge inconvenience. I work in the travel industry and probably wont refer the Acoya because not one person has attempted to reach out and assist me with this matter. And again the property is gorgeous but that's simply not enough when the stay is unpleasant, and having access to only one beach on the entire strip was extremely disappointing and embarrassing when told to move in the presents of other people because your at the wrong beach.

if you book they have to be specific because if you book for example for a villa you can not get a room in hotel, villa is villa, hotel is hotel, sweet room is sweet

There was no kitchen paper in the room and there is no day of happy hour at the bar

Great to have a villa with outside area with comfortable chairs.

There was every evening loud music, there were tiny musquitoes due to the lake and the breakfast was poor and overpriced at US$20 a person.

The mattress and pillows were very soft and comfy. The villa is spacious with its own private pool, which was perfect for a group of six.

The room service didn’t properly clean the villa. The kitchen area (floor, oven, etc.) and the showers were not properly mopped/cleaned. The WiFi connection inside the rooms is bad.

The Restaurant prices are a bit high, I wanted veggie burger and for the 2 days they told me there is no veggie burger. But for the rest everything was good.
