The location was good. Hotel was convenient to Williamsburg area attractions and not far from Bush Gardens.

The rooms had a musty smell . No closets. Dead bugs in windows. Curtians did not close all the way. Tumbler would just keep turning in the lock. We had to spend five minutes fumbling with lock to get in the room. There is a freight train that passes by the room at least three times a night. Also, you will be told to pay an additional $15.00 tax not listed in the booking.com price. Should have known better when I checked in they had a sign that read " No Refunds".

Dirty, Poorly Maintained

This hotel was dirty. Disturbingly so. There were dead bugs everywhere. Rust stains on all bathroom fixtures, paint either chipped or slathered on, pictures had been taken off the wall and the hangers were left behind. Maid service did not clean the room mid-stay. Everything was outdated and we used a poorly-cut house key (read: several minutes of fumbling to get into the room each time) to enter. Lights were dingy, curtains did not close all the way. Furniture looked like wild animals had ripped all the doors off. Couch smelled of mildew. Chair had ripped upholstry. Front office was dingy and staff were apathetic and seemed not to understand the credit card machine. Parking lot was filled with trash. Carpet turned our feet black. Bathtub was disgusting: mold and hard water stains on every surface. Additionally, there was an extra $15 dollar charge added on. I was told that was for tax, but our estimate from Kayak claimed to include tax. Other residents appeared to be living there semi-permanently (cleaning their motorcycles from the comfort of a lawn chair propped just inside the door). I can't really say enough about how much I don't recommend this hotel.
