Плюсы: Total experiences was great.. We booked Horizon club room to check in on 36th floor. Get room earlier like 12 noon. View of Taipei 101 is really stunning on our window bedroom. BF, cocktail during 17.30 is ok not much many selections but all good. Drink also great, full of Sparking, Red, White wine, whisky, spirit and beers. Thank you for warm welcome with a nice rose, bottle of wine, box of chocolate for our anniversary occasions. Great choices for us indeed. :)

Плюсы: It was very clean and well maintained. The front doorman and the reception's staffs at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It is 15 min cab ride away from the Sungsan Taipei Airport and lots of major attractions and shopping malls are within 15 min cab rise away including Taipei 101. The roof top outdoor pool has a great view of Taipei city and Taipei 101.

Плюсы: I have had nothing but very happy experiences with Shangri-la Far Eastern Plaza in my annual visits. But this time, I want to draw particular attention to the staff on the front desk and concierge: Christopher, Jeffrey and Charlie. I left my phone in a taxi and Christopher and Jeffrey were assiduous in their efforts to find it for me. It was returned within the hour. I cannot thank them enough for moving so quickly to reassure me. Charlie was in charge of checking me in and out. We can sometimes overlook how encounters like these can make or break a stay in a hotel. But excellent service from Charlie reminded me it does matter. I would also like to thank the staff in the Horizon Lounge for being so good about making sure I received my chosen newspaper every day. I will be returning to this same hotel next year - and am looking forward to it even now.

Минусы: Location is a bit far from MRT, but free shuttle bus service is convenience for me to go shopping and MRT. Have to call taxi back to the hotel for return route but not a big deal for us.

Минусы: The food and the service at Marco Polo Italian restaurant was a bit disappointing,very limited choices of dishes, though the view and design is great. I tried to book a big room with a view on Taipei 101, couldn't figure out how to do it.

Плюсы: Service, service, service. The eagerness of the staff so apparent that made me smile. I am ever so impressed with the list of (extra) things a guest could ask for: lamp, ice, hangers, comforters, towels, bottled water, scale (for luggage), etc. Considerate, thoughtful to a point they've foreseen things we didn't even think to need. Warms my heart. The sliding doors to turn shower-lavatory stalls & vanity area into the full bathroom is something I want in my own house!.

Плюсы: The hotel is located in shopping area nearby SOGO dept store. Easy to commute to the hotel just 5 minutes walk from MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station. Room is clean and drinks are provided everyday during I stay there. Taiwanese staff are nice I was surprised they can speak Thai. Impressive!

Минусы: Adding one light fixture brighter than other fixtures to a room would be excellent. An ice machine - perhaps on the fifth floor. Blinds to provide shade for the front desk/reception area for it gets sunny & quite hot in the afternoon. Travel worn new guests checking in for their rooms would appreciate it. I know I would.

Плюсы: The location is close to subway and bus from the airport. The dining room staff is excellent but the receptionist staff did not treating us well I guess the way we dressed and after more than 10 hours flight from LAX to Vancouver to Taipei. We feel they want to brush us off ASAP after they check us in. While we try to get our luggage’s to our room we saw some Taiwanese dresses a little bit better than us just walked in the same receptionist gave us a cold welcoming becomes so warm and running to these gentlemen’s with smiling greetings and welcoming them with a respect you normally see in an Asian country. Well that’s life if you showed up and acting you did have some money than you may receive a better treatment.

Минусы: Уборщицы женщины - больше разговаривают между собой чем убирают Номера . К примеру у нас один день убирался мужчина, все чисто и быстро было, хотя мы его просили подождать нас . Он все сделал идеально . Во второй день пришли женщины и начался тихий ужас. Кричат, громко разговаривают, пылесосят пол в коридоре - хотя висит табличка не беспокоить так как я был после ночного перелёта . В общем я в печали от таких женщин уборщиц ! На завтра один раз пришли в 9.45 хотя он был до 10.00 и на встрече нам уже говорят, что у вас есть 15 минут . Далее уже самой еды нет путём, все быстрее убирают и снова же говорят мы работаем до 10.00 . Вы конечно извините мы пришли в 9.45 и еда обязана быть так как время ещё работы ! А вы уже убираете - высший минус по работе ресторан в части обслуживания постояльцев . Я такого нигде не встречал .

Общее впечатление от отеля: много претензий, не подтверждающихся на практике. Никому не посоветую останавливаться, т.к. цена совсем не соответствует качеству.

Lots of shops near the hotel. Lovely spa area and good variety of gym equipment. Nice little cafe-like restaurant next to pool.

Минусы: The hot water in the shower did not work. We called down to the desk and inquired about it and they said let it run for 1-2 minutes. It had been running for 10 minutes when we called. Luckily the water in the bath was hot. The gym was shut down for renovation. The laundry service was ridiculously overpriced. Luckily there was a nearby laundromat where we could do laundry.

Минусы: The hotel has aged a lot. You can see signs of use everywhere and the carpets are also old. The entrance smells bad and anyone can enter the hotel and access the corridors and bedroom doors, even without an access card.

Минусы: I was on the 8th floor and there was a stale odor in the hallway. The electric toilet didn't work and the shower door leaked water on the bathroom floor. As for their breakfast buffet, while the service was great, the breakfast was disappointingly mediocre at best. They could have easily improved the quality, for example, if you're serving bagels and lockes, please have cream cheese available... and of course some sliced cucumber, tomatoes, and capers will be nice too.

The hotel said the deposits will be credited back to our account in the next 7 to 12 days. We told the front desk that was not a general practice and demanded a refund immediately, then the hotel agreed to process an emergency refund which came through an email 12 hour later.

Минусы: You can hear the next rooms so clearly and it was not so pleasant to hear noise after midnight including TV and others. I felt like the walls are paper thin and it won't be recommend if you have kids with you.

Free breakfast as well, Chinese/Western style.
Минусы: It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the closest subway station, not a big deal as there are plenty of shops and restaurants along the way too.

Плюсы: This hostel exceeded my expectations. It was clean, very comfortable and extremely well-located. Each bed had a curtain for privacy, as well as a TV screen with plug for headphones (which were also sold, if needed), plugs and shelves for storage. The bed itself was very comfortable and each room had a toilet and shower, both of which were clean. I stayed during low season, so perhaps it might have been a bit cramped if all 8 beds were occupied, but it did not feel crowded at all with just three or four women in the room. Also, the common areas were very easy and comfortable to use (bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and break rooms).The hostel is just a 5 minute walk to a major subway station, but the neighborhood itself is cute, colorful and easy to get around. I will stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend the place to friends.

Минусы: Breakfast is mostly suitable for local people. We are from Europe and the US and we did not really like too much of the local spices and food selection used. In general, this is usually what you can get from a 4-star hotel. We just did not want to book a 5-star to spear some cost. Anyways, this is want you get as far as breakfast goes for this value, and you might like it better that us.

Минусы: The restaurant must be more developed and have a better choices for Islamic guests , and the restaurant prices was expensive , I hope you can make it acceptable . And the lobby is too small . And the shower Bathtub is higher than normal and very dangerous and I have slipped and injured in my ankle . I think that is no longer need this kind of bathtub .

Минусы: The hotel is situated above two club houses so there is noise well into the early hours of the morning, the hotel does provide complimentary earbuds. The Vendome's website says they offer a breakfast for a little more but there was no breakfast option at the hotel.
