Expectations ruined. Total confusion about reception, spa, pricing. No drinks or any minibar in the room. You have to order room service for a jar of Coca Cola and get ready to be charged 200% for room service. Lots of misunderstanding. In Spa no water cooler. No options for tea or other refreshment.

It’s a lovely clean, well presented hotel with helpful staff but for me that’s where it stopped.

The hotel has no air conditioning which means the pine lined rooms are literally like Saunas during the day. At night you need to leave the balcony door open and it’s hard to sleep with the street noise. The rooms are nice looking but I didn’t find the bed particularly comfortable and the pillows where to soft. Nearly everything is an extra like the usable speed WiFi. I also couldn’t get anywhere to park my motorcycle in the road level car park, this meant I had to pay 12 euros per night to park in the garage. Most other hotels in my 10 country trip have provided dedicated motorcycle parking, this was one of the few that didn’t. The evening meal is a buffet which for 30 Euro isn’t bad value. However in a 4 star hotel I would have expected a table service restaurant instead of the cafeteria style set up which is in place. I understand that things cost money and I do not mind paying for things. I do however mind hidden charges and extras, for me these should be added onto and included to the cost of your stay, not presented when you arrive. It’s not a bad hotel, just poor value in comparison to others I’ve stayed at during my 3 week trip.
