I cannot find something, because it was really everything so perfekt! Great and ultra modern hotel, my friend and I love it!

W Hotels are the best Hotels I‘ve ever been. Doesn‘t matter if in Barcelona or in Shanghai everywhere I was more than satisfied. The staff been so nice to us and our room with it‘s furnishing and view was amazing! The inside pool and spa was also amazing!

The only thing I can complain about is the price - but that‘s Ok, we knew W Hotels are expensive but it‘s definetly worth it!

The W on the Bund in Shanghai was the perfect luxury experience. The staff were personalised and their attention to detail was incredible. We felt so incredibly valued as clients and will definitely return. Many thanks to Juliet and Cassie who transformed a very special time for us into an incredible memory. Their efforts made us feel like absolutely valued guests and would be the very reason we return to stay at the W. Customer service like this, even within a luxury capacity are so hard to find and are a credit to very reason we chose to stay at the W. Many, many thanks

We celebrated our 5th anniversary at W Shanghai. The W Insider and the staff made us feel very special, spoiling us with little surprises. The breakfast is a must, it's absolutely delicious.

Our queen size bedroom was really big and modern with nice bathroom (shower and bathtub), and a big sofa all along the windows with a good view. There is an outside AND inside swimming pool with jacuzzi. The bar and restaurant both serve really good food, breakfast is amazing with nearly anything you can wish to eat in the morning. Finally, the view over the Shanghai Skyline is one of the most breathtaking I have seen.

A bit pricey but it is finally really worth it when you live the experience.

I visited W hotel the second time, this time with my kids. The rooms are spacious, very stylish, with a great view and the hotel is sited in a perfect spot. The outdoor and indoor pool area is great the relax for adults and kids the same way. There is enough space for everyone. The view from the outdoor pool is fantastic. In the evening you could have a nice dinner in The Kitchen Table with a fantastic view on the business district of Shanghai (TV tower, bottle opener, Jinmao Tower, Shanghai tower, and so on). The food is delicious, the staff always friendly and helpful. The variety at the breakfast buffet is phenomenal, you could already spend half a day there. Summarized, it is an absolutely great place to stay, but you also have to pay for it.

That I could not stay some more nights longer...

The room was super comfy with all the amenities you would expect. The view from our room was great as was the location near a mall for quick and easy meals. Location was perfect for our needs. The outdoor pool was very nice.

I did not like the timing for the outdoor pool. Open at 10:00 and closed at 6:00pm. Would have been nice to go down earlier and come back in the evening when the lights were on across the river.

Opening hours outdoor swimming pool are limited to 10am to 6pm. The room is missing a laundry drying line.

The hotel location is the best! You have all Shanghai Pu dong's view from your own room. The hotel staff is very nice and always looking to help in any matter. Restaurant is also amazing, great food and variety.

The only thing i would say can be better is the language, there are not a lot of staff members that can really speak English.

We have upgraded. Also all facilities are prefect and staff are nicely. The breakfast is delicious.

Great staff who stop at nothing to help you out. I mentioned during my booking this was a special occasion for us (our wedding anniversary) and the whole W staff seemed to be aware of this.

If you can find anything about your stay that isn't to your expectations, the staff will help you out to make it right. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about the W in Shanghai

Rooms are spacious and very clean. Interior quality also very good. Bathroom also spacious with moveable walls for a little bit of privacy. Bathtub and shower are both available in my room. The restaurants and bars are more than excellent, good for a snack and also for a relaxed dinner. Breakfast is huge. The hotel also takes car of not smoking in the rooms (big penalty) - good! If your are the first tim ein SHG, book a room with BUND view - it's worth it!

Windows can't be opened. Not a big issue and quite usual, but if you want to have some fresh air, it's difficult

My fiancé and I recently got engaged and to celebrate this and a special birthday, we decided to do a staycation in the W. My parents were visiting us in Shanghai from Ireland and we wanted them to have a special treat too. To say that we had the perfect stay is in no way an exaggeration! Every member of staff from arrival to checkout were exceptional, the facilities in the hotel were second to none, the variety at breakfast was divine, the decor in the room is so trendy and fun, the Woo cocktail bar served us fabulously presented and delicious cocktails for reasonable prices, the room upgrade was a fantastic surprise, the views from our rooms were the best we’ve seen of the Bund yet, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in... these are to name but a few of the hotel’s best features. I will never forget the level of service we received, staff went above and beyond to ensure that our special occasion was just that. They were so personable that they made us feel like we were the only guests they had!! My fiancé and I are already planning our next visit to the W Shanghai!

I couldn’t fault a thing about the hotel!

Classy, sophisticated, clean, trendy.... everything about the W is just perfect. We got an upgrade to our room with a spectacular Bund view and were welcomed with a bottle of Veuve, just because. Definitely the best of the best, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Shanghai.

as i need to do the birthday party for my friend and need to do the room decoration in advance at the morning. I checked in at 8.30am and they allowed me to get into the room as they know i need to do the room decoration. i feel good as they did a favour to me with no more charges. the hotel is very beautiful and i love the swimming pool view that exact opposite to the oriental pearl tower.....so nice....the whole hotel feel is so youngful, playful with energy. the restaurant foods are so good with the bund view....

one disappointment point is that if i would like to call taxi, the ground staff couldnt help and a must to ask me to go to the concierge to make the appointment. that is not convenience.

Breakfast was great and worth the extra money. The staff is outstanding - all super friendly. The rooms are very nice and the view we had from our room amazing.

I am totally impressed with my whole end-to-end experience with W Shanghai. From the moment I checked in to checking out, the service, location, drinks and food quality have been brilliantly amazing. Another key are the interesting artistic installations around the hotel. Totally instagram-able pictures. The staffs are all well versed in English with great service.

Excellent room with good view, I could see the river, TV tower and the Bund from the spectacular room, very very good spa and Pool. The outdoor pool is excellent wish they keep it open till late evening. choices for Breakfast was superb, staff was very cooperative and never had a problem to communicate with them as the staff was speaking in English. Restaurant ambiance, food, and drink were also nice. Best Hotel I ever stayed and a very good experience.

This was without a doubt the best hotel experience i ever had. I had booked a room with Bund view for my wifes birthday. Before booking the price made me doubt, yet once i arrived i had absolutely no regrets. I arrived alone (as my wife was still at work) and immediately the staff (especially Cassie) asked about my wife, and told me they had prepared a gift for her birthday. When we arrived together after dinner the whole staff seemed to know it was her birthday, congratulating her (even the next day at breakfast, which by the way is superdelicious!). The room does have amazing views over the Bund, the bath by the window makes for very relaxed bathing and the bed is one of the best i have slept in. The total atmosphere of the hotel is so different and so cool, without losing the classy , 5 star hotel feel (yet in a way a lot more relaxed and easy going). the Whatever whenever theme when it comes to service is really present and we felt very much taken care of. We will definitely be back!

We couldnt see any possible improvement. When a late check out was not possible due to the busy weekend we were offered badges to continue using the pool (and a free drink , yeey).
