From Sankt Andreasberg you can great day trips to Braunlage (12 km), Bad Lauterberg (12 km), Clausthal-Zellerfeld (21 km) and Bad Harzburg (25 km) take and so discover the Harz itself. The Pension hunting lodge is quietly situated in the upper part of the place. there are good 5 minute walk to the center and the shops. Trails and trail entrances begin almost at the front door.
