The Parkbury Hotel

The excellent manageress. She was great, really looked after us and made us feel very welcome.

The only thing I would like to see improved is the shower cubicle tiling. It needs refurbishing and re-grouting.

Sorry i dont have anything positive to comment on the hotel. The asst manager was friendly, but the hotel is clearly geared to cater for a much older client base and this is not pointed out on the website.

The facitlities and decor look old and tired and hotel is in dire need of redecoration. The hotel has no internet connection and the TV in the room had terrible reception. The hotel needs to be modernised in order to attract new customers.Breakfast was a poor standard and no variety. I would never stay there again.

stopped serving dinner very early [think it was 19;45 when i asked for a menu] ,had to go out and find somewhere [nice Indian bombay palace ryde ].breakfast again spoiled by a cheap economy sausage,

lights didnt work, shower had no hot water, bed was so uncomfortable that we thought about sleeping in the car, the headboard was marked hevily with dirt from peoples hair, the shower dripped constantly and there was a hole in the wall. The rest was fine
