The bedding was comfortable.
The phone was broken, the alarm clock was broken, no note pad, no flyers on the hotel like most Hilton’s have. We weren’t offered a map and on the last day checking out we saw nice colored maps on the counter which would have been very helpful, the drains in the sink were slow draining, they charged an outrageous amount for parking when they have a huge lot, no continental breakfast like most Hilton’s, and the overall quality was not up to par for other Hilton’s that we stay at and my husband is a Hilton rewards member and stays quite often with Hilton for business. I felt like we received poor service because I booked with a third party.
A/C was not working, even though our room was on the top floor in the corner, there were no Side entrances available for quick entry/exit
Location was perfect, great service and food. Also had a great kids pool which the kids did enjoy.
The bar was extermley overpriced. I paid $16.00 for one glass of Laphroaig when you can buy an entire bottle of your own for $40.00

The hotel is lovely, the staff is the problem.
The amenities of this well laid out hotel were everything that I would have expected from a Hilton spa and hotel. From the fire pit seating areas and heated pools to the decor and spacious rooms, I very much enjoyed the hotel itself.
First. We arrived at almost 1pm to find that we were not able to check in. No rooms were ready. Next. The staff. It seemed that there were as many trainees as there were experienced staff (not very many of either). At the bar restaurant, there was only one experienced server. She was great and did the best with what she had. However, she couldn't keep up with everyone in the restaurant and train a new person, too. It took a very long time to get our food (some good, some not good) and drinks and there wasn't more than 20 people in the restaurant. I can only imagine how understaffed the kitchen was as well (we were there for about 2.5 hours). The breakfast restaurant seemed to suffer from the same lack of trained, attentive staff. The housekeeping staff were noisy and yelled down the hall to each other in the morning. Not professional at all.
Good Hotel the worst staff
The hotel is quite nice and the rooms are really good. Is located in a easy to get location and near a lot of POI.
The staff is the worst I have seen in my life. Housekeeping didn't leave towels in the room and not only one day but several days and more than 1 room that my family had for our stay, I told these to the people on the reception but I don't know if they didn't do anything or the housekeeping didn't understand. The firt day we had breakfast at the hotel but since it was so slow and bad the rest of the days we decided to go out. Even the bar was lame and closed like 9 pm. I think the rooms and the hotel is good but has the worst manager I have seen in mi life.
lack of service
ordered towels...never came spa/steam room "closed" on the days I was staying!!! no weights in the weight room on tap beer was sour out of steak!! tried to check in at 3:40...no rooms??? That was ridiculous..made to wait until exactly 4pm out of marshmallows! Can't even pay cash for smores..must charge to a credit card?? smores should be provided FREE staff was not concerned or urgent about anything!!
Got an executive room on the 5th floor Great view Very clean/clean Felt Welcome by the front desk I was provided free wifi
My only complaint was that there were some loud people in the hallway horse-playing but it was taken care of quickly.
Very relaxing and family oriented. Great experience. Definitely going back.
We were told that a movie was going to be played but not that night and nobody knew why. Everyone kept saying that they were working on it and nothing was ever set up so the movie never played.

The place is really kid friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone with kids. My kids enjoyed the s'mores and the movie. Staff is really great
I liked the fact that it was clean, close to where I was traveling and reasonable.
I booked the executive floor hoping that there would be no kids in the lounge while I was working. That wasn't the case.
I was in San Antonio due to my mother being hospitalized. I had been at her bedside all week and my family came for the weekend. I needed to relax and get some rest. Casey front desk reception was very kind and went out her way to make our stay wonderful. Walking thebeautiful grounds and being poolside was very relaxing. We always stay at Marriott hotelservices but definitely choose Hilton in our future stays.
Nothing comes to mind.
1. Shuttle - although it should run more often before 9pm...we had to wait over an hour to get back to the hotel 2. The Pools - although they could have been kept a bit cleaner
