The riverside location (and river view) is the hotel's best selling point; the staff were also very pleasant and well-trained; the rooms were quiet/sound-proofed and the bed was very comfortable.

There was no restaurant or room service - despite claims on the bookings.com website to the contrary. It was the main reason I booked the hotel (I knew I would be arriving late and tired) and so felt that I had been misled. This being the case, I also felt that the hotel did not offer value for money, as I would expect these facilitiesin a hotel where I am paying €150 a night. To be fair to the manager, he handled the situation well and offered to upgrade me/reduce the room rate when I complained but the most I would pay for a hotel lacking these facilities would be less than half the rate quoted.
