Плюсы: The modern art in this B&B is absolutely incredible and very well done by miscellaneous Italian artists.

Минусы: You have to keep your shower short if the second person wants a real warm shower too.

Плюсы: Cool art and concept of the B&B, it was fun that they served sicilian breakfast that was different every morning, the hosts were also super friendly and helpful giving lots of useful tips.

Минусы: Unfortunately the room was located just outside the reception which made the noise level very loud in the morning.

Плюсы: Room was overall nice, clean and big, location of the b&b is very good

Минусы: Walls of room are thin, as a consequence it was not possible for us to sleep longer in the morning, as we heard noise from reception/breakfast area, however earplugs were provided

Плюсы: Danilo and his team were excellent. They were very helpful and friendly. The attention to detail was outstanding. Directions for access to the property were exceptional. The property is in an excellent location for what we needed. Daily breakfast was great with lots of local treats. We would thoroughly recommend this property.

Плюсы: The hotel was very unique and artistic and had spacious rooms. The breakfast was unique! No buffet, but the staff brought out Sicilian specialities and explained the traditions. They also made fresh scrambled eggs and very good coffee!

Минусы: Our room was facing the street and it was quite noisy.

Плюсы: Девушка на ресепшн очень приятная, доброжелательная, подсказала поо рестораны и ответила на все вопросы. Расположение удобное для туристов. Рядом порт, остановка автобуса из аэропорта, остановка до пляжа, старый город. Wi-fi работал хорошо. Высокий потолок в номере, маленький балкончик.

Плюсы: The breakfast was great. Location is good - near to the Old Town but parking is slightly easier. I would tease Danilo about the rather bright lighting in the breakfast area :)

Плюсы: Everything else. Clean and attractive rooms,very good breakfast and spotless cleaning all over.

Минусы: The noise outside the room. There is a pub where people stay until late and they are loud. The hotel provides earplugs.

Плюсы: Удобное расположение относительно достопримечательностей. В 5 минутах ходьбы остановка автобуса в аэропорт и на пляж. Отличный персонал, всегда на связи. Завтрак вкусный. В номере бесплатно беруши.

Минусы: Очень шумный бар под окнами, работает до 2 ночи. Т.к. окна не пластиковые, шум мешает спать. Немного подтекала вода в душе.

Плюсы: Lovely room 15 mins max walk to centre of Palermo, lovely breakfast and great helpful hosts, I thought it was very good value for money, they even allowed us to leave our luggage in hotel until we were ready to go to airport for a late flight and had a shower we could use, fantastic.

Плюсы: The Afea is a unique experience with each room enjoying individual art work by local artists. The location of Afea was excellent for walking to buses, train or into city for sightseeing, also for walking into town to enjoy the many restaurants and ice creams! It was only a short walk down to the harbour and sea area, which at the moment appears to be undergoing some construction along promenade. Breakfast was a daily noteworthy experience with the host Danilo explaining the origins of the food; a very good host and Glory was to be commended on her approach to clients. If you fancy a more relaxing day it's well worth getting a train/bus outside the city to explore some of the coast .

Плюсы: Отель новый, современный, номер просторный, удобный шкаф, полочки, тумбы, холодильник есть. Номер очень приятный. Местоположение (с первого взгляда пугает так как на парковке куча неприятных черных людей), но выйдя из отеля направо через 7 минут оказываешься в центре. Считаю местоположение самым лучшим, так как рядом свободная парковка, а в самом центре нереально припарковаться.

Минусы: Нереально маленькая душевая. При том есть место сделать ее нормальных размеров, но этого почему Не сделали (зачем то отдельная ая туалетная комната с биде... а душ малютка). Мне с ростом 161 см и худенькой было сложно там мыться , уж не представляю как более крупным людям. И завтраки не понравились.. омлет порошковый, яйца один раз только дали. Сосисок нет. Ничего горячего кроме омлета. Булочек много, но это ж не завтрак. Ни фруктов, ни овощей. Арбуз был 1 раз. В остальном Отель супер!! Наверное лучший в данном городе и безопасный.

Минусы: Местоположение так себе. От вокзала минут 15 - 20 идти. Автобус из аэропорта мимо не едет. Оооочень маленькая душевая кабина. Прям оооочень маленькая))

Плюсы: Неплохое расположение - близко от достопримечательностей, отсутствие кафе и других увесилительных заведений в непосредственной близости. Это очень важно для Палермо! Я думаю, кто жил рядом с кафе/барами и пр. - меня поддержат!.. Шумоизоляционные окна. Хороший сток воды в душе.

Минусы: Расположение сплит-системы: охлажденный воздух направляется непосредственно на кровати. Спать со включенным сплитом невозможно (перспектива головной боли и простуды).А если сплит выклёчен - невыносимая духота. Спали с открытым окном. В комнате самый минимальный набор удобств. Отсутствуют даже стаканы. Не говоря о чайнике... Очень маленький размер комнаты. Мне кажется, что больше двух дней там не выдержать. В ванной комнате отсутсвуют вешалки для полотенец! Куда положить полотенце перед принятием душа - не понятно.

Плюсы: Room including bed was great. Location os Great. The Norman Palass is next door and the trainstation on the airport line is 100 meter away. Breakfast is good. Friendly and helpful staff.

Минусы: The shower cabinet is tiny

Плюсы: The location is close to one of Palermo's main attractions ( The Norman Palace), this is one of their boasts. It isn't far from the main shopping area either. It's reasonably quiet on a night. It is also very good value for money. It has amenities such as a laundry room and some good value for money vending machines & free wifi. There is a small fridge in the room for guests to store items. The towels/toiletries are replaced/replenished daily. The staff are helpful.

Минусы: Only petty things really. I thought that the room floor which is tiled needed a good clean. Also I noticed a couple of little ants on the floor in the bathroom. The breakfast, although plentiful, is a little basic.

Минусы: Ludicrously tiny shower cubicle!! The smallest I have ever had to use in my 52 years! I could barely wash my feet or bend my knees it was so small.

Плюсы: The lovely place to stay in. The room was very comfy and big, airconditioning was working very well. Perfect location for those who want explore the historic centre. Also breakfast was quite good (not only coffee and cruissants) For an additional price, you can use laundry facilities.

Минусы: Staff generally absent, particularly on arrival with no instructions provided or parking details. It is false that parking is available at this property, we had to drive through the city nearby to find parking with zero guidance. Минусы: Except for the phone call that we gave to the host upon arrival we never met him/her. Keys were in the door. That's it. If you're travelling in Palermo for the first time be sure that you'll not receive any help from the owners what so ever. WiFi did not work the first day. We called to report it but nothing happened until the next morning when some German guests pointed it out and than the staff finally did something. It's funny how unprofessional they were during the breakfast which by the way is a disaster. If you don't come there first be sure you'll not get any ham or cheese or anything savory. They are not refilling anything, not even bread (only after asking we finally got some). On the second day we asked for at least some ham and cheese and lady said they didn't have time to go to the store! Really?! All in all, if you like eating sweets and something that looks like oven pizza for breakfast you're on the right place. Coffee is the worst we had on our trip. Parking is really messy. If you have rented car be careful. Gallery on booking.com should be updated since the room we had is not on the pictures.

Плюсы: The B&B is in a great location, really close to the cathedral. It was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was exactly what you would expect & staff were attentive. We arrived early and our room was ready which was another plus. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend

Минусы: Никто не встретил во время приезда, и хозяин взял трубку только со второго раза. Также смущало отсутствие окон на улицу.

Плюсы: Очень-очень просторный номер, кровать с двуспальным матрасом в меру жесткая и удобная. Вся техника качественная и хорошо работает (фен, кондиционер, смесители, душ и даже холодильник). Есть небольшой балкон. Очень приветливый персонал. Помогали по любым вопросам. Отель находится на окраине зоны ZTL, поэтому легко можно найти место для парковки (скорее всего под знаком, но это на страх и риск водителя).

Минусы: Находится в ZTL и с 8 до 20 нельзя заезжать. Персонал есть только до обеда, при позднем заселении необходимо звонить по телефону и вам расскажут как войти. У нас никаких проблем не возникло, но к сожалению нельзя позвонить через WhatsApp это бы экономило деньги и облегчало общение.

Плюсы: This apartment is situtated in a tiny street just a 2 minutes walk away from Palermo cathedral. It is very very calm. The interior is very nice and the doors are with a very safe lock, however Palermo is a very safe city. You are absolutely central and in the heart of the city with all sights being very close. We loved the mixture of modern and traditional style. The breakfast is just great, offering all kind of Sicilian cornetti. The staff is kind, the room absolutely clean and spacious. What a fantastic stay!

Минусы: There was a hole in the bedsheets, a bit nasty.. the mattress and pillows were not confortable at all. We could not close the bathroom door- a bit stuck..For the check-in we had to make a call to the place in order to know how to do it, we did not have any news or instructions about how to do it (there was a code for the entrance so no problem for late check-in but make sure to call in advance in order to be able to get there), very disappointing and little attentive that part..

Плюсы: The location of the B&B White is absolutely perfect ! Just a 3 mn walk from the buses & railway stations, il also offered the possibility to visit the whole historical center of Palermo by feet. The Italian breakfast is a wonderful combination of salted & sweet with a large range of products. The continental one offeredthe possibility of eggs (omelette,scrambled or fried) and ham & cheese hot sandwich. Either the italian & the continental one are a good money value ! Simona & Monia are the most smiling and friendly Hotel Staff I rarely ever met ! The place (bedrooms and shared rooms) are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated. The comfort of the bedrooms is just perfect!

Девочки очень гостеприимные, добрые, на любые просьбы с удовольствием откликались. Каждый день уборка, смена полотенец раз в три дня, вай фай летает. Разрешили пользоваться чайником,тостером и микроволновкой. Мне все понравилось, я рекомендую.

Плюсы: Интересный интерьер общих помещений, большая зона отдыха. Белоснежное белье (по сравнению с предыдущим хостелом), удобный матрац, в комнате для 6 женщин кондиционер. Уезжала рано - сварили кофе, предложили завтрак. Доброжелательный персонал.

Минусы: Кровати скрипят. Шум с улицы. Далековато от Старого города, а вечером плохо ходят автобусы.

Плюсы: Чистый хостел. Приветливый доброжелательный персонал. Разместили в женской комнате на 4 человека (хотя подавала заявку на 7 чел в комнате и мужчины и женщины), за что отдельное спасибо. Интересное оформление интерьера. Плюс есть в комнате отдельные запираемые на ключ шкафчики. Розетка есть около каждой кровати с полочкой для заряжающихся аппаратов. Освещение тоже есть дополнительное около каждой кровати. В комнате не шумно, при закрытом окне не слышно проезжающих машин, хотя улица оживленная. На завтрак предлагается мюсли с молоком/соком, бутерброды с различными джемами (порядка 6 разных вкусов), кофе/чай, круассаны. Большая кухня, несколько душевых кабин и туалетов - загруженности нет. Есть где повесить сушиться белье. Рядом автобусная остановка, с которой можно доехать до пляжа Монделло, одного из лучших пляжей Сицилии. В минут 15 ходьбы станция, с которой можно уехать в аэропорт. Достопримечательности рядом (разброс по городу 5-20 минут).

Минусы: Далековато до уличных кафе/ресторанов, где можно посидеть поесть, послушать музыку; далековато до автовокзала и до пляжей (но это скорее вопрос к городу - пляжи за городом). Взяли дополнительную таксу около 1 евро. Полотенце оплачивается отдельно, но не дорого.

Плюсы: Staff really kind and helpfull. All areas very clean. The hostel has a great atmosphere.

Минусы: Shower didn't have hot water. I only stayed one night, but the other girls in the room who were there for a few days said It was the same every day.

Плюсы: Great location in the centre of Palermo, within close walking distance of the main tourist spots and the local market. The room was spacious and clean with a small balcony to watch over the street below. It is also on the airport coach transfer route and just around the corner from a supermarket.

Минусы: The property was slightly difficult to find as it it within a large high-rise building. We didn't receive instructions on how to enter the building (which was locked when we arrived with no clear intercom system) or where to find the apartment once another resident had let us in when passing by. It's actually on the 2nd floor and can be reached by stairs or an old-school elevator :)

Плюсы: The room was fine but there was no kettle or way to make tea or soup. The location could hardly have been bettered and the host was very friendly.

Минусы: The coffee (latte) was almost cold but was replenished. Too many sweet things at breakfast and no fruit. It was okay but not very substantial though one could have eaten more sweet rolls if one felt like one!

Плюсы: The B&B was good for a quiet stopover, and an easy walk from Centrale. The bed and room were not luxurious but were clean and ok for the price. The breakfast was standard Italian - croissant in a packet, jam and good coffee. The owners were lovely and friendly, though the language barrier was a bit difficult after a flight.

Минусы: The check-in was not easy (particularly as we did not speak Italian). We had arranged to arrive at 10pm and were told that was fine, however when we arrived we could not find how to get into the building. Eventually we were let in by other people in the building and they directed us upstairs (Level 2). The bed was a bit uncomfortable and pillows were thin, so new bedding would make a world of difference.

Плюсы: Хочу в первую очередь отметить гостеприимство наших хозяев. Милые и отзывчивые люди. Любая наша просьба или возникший вопрос тут же удовлетворялись и решались. Большое спасибо им за это. Завтрак подавался вовремя. Номер убирался. Полотенца менялись. В местах общественного пользования было чисто. Мы заказывали трансфер. Нас доставили быстро и с комфортом. Месторасположение нашего отеля было удобным. В нескольких шагах от ж/д и авто вокзалов. Побывать в других городах, как и планировали, удалось. На пляж г. Монделло также просто было добраться, так как общественный транспорт (806 автобус) уходил с той же улицы, где мы жили (она в г. Палермо главная - Via Roma). Нужно было пройти вниз по этой улице. Достопримечательности в г. Палермо на каждом шагу и потому только и делали, что фотографировали. Завтрак с прекрасным кофе и сладостями. В г. Палермо любят сладкое и потому везде много сладостей. Кафе и ресторанов очень много и на любой вкус. Также все рядом.

Плюсы: Generous size to the room. Quiet piazza and in an excellent location. Appreciate having a kettle. Plenty of storage space which is good for me as I am here for 10 nights in total. The courtyard is a pleasant place to sit.

Минусы: The front step coming into the entrance needs fixing to meet Engliah speaking country standards as most of the guests appear to come from overseas. I have slipped off it several times. There has only been a fresh fruit platter at breakfast once out of four mornings. The bread rolls could be varied. The cereals are all refined so I have gone and bought my own.

Минусы: Хорошие апартаменты, но: - находятся достаточно отдаленно от центра ~30 минут - В описании нигде не указано, что оплата только наличными. Не было наличных с собой, в ответ хозяин предложил сходить в магазин и купить ему продуктов на эту сумма - классный сервис) благо карта у него нашлась и существует p2p сервис! - Очень много времени потратили из-за того, что в описании указана возможность парковки на частной территории , но хозяйка, которая заселяла нас не разговаривала по англ и мы не понимали друг друга , поэтому ждали ее супруга. - Завтрак самый посредственный из всех забронированных нами отелей на Сицилии)

Плюсы: Большой номер - комната и ванна через коридор, который тоже часть номера. Близко к вокзалу Нотобартоло, удобно если надо с него уезжать.

Минусы: При бронировании указан завтрак, но хозяин сначала сказал, что завтрака нет. Пришлось доказывать, что он нам всё таки нужен.

Плюсы: The owners were amazing, the room was very comfortable and it was very easy to check in and out. They were even so kind as to reserve a restaurant table for us several times, which always lead to good meals. :)

Минусы: The only issue we had was that the wifi sometimes didn't work...but I think this is a general problem in Sicily.

Плюсы: We were very pleased with our stay in this guesthouse. Took a room with a private bathroom. Everything is very clean, beautiful interior. The property lies 30 minutes walking distance from the city center. Arrived ahead of time check in, but were able to leave the bags while preparing the room. The owner Giovanni was in contact on all questions. Recommended

Плюсы: Прежде всего понравились хозяева: очень приятные и доброжелательные люди. В номерах чисто. Жене особенно понравились завтраки: различная выпечка, также на завтрак по нашей просьбе подавали латте-макиато. Удобная кровать. Особенная благодарность Джованни за то что переселил нас в больший номер без доплаты. Душ в первом номере был не очень удобным для жены, так как он был без шланга, а вот в большом номере был как со шлангом, так и на штанге. Удобно, что есть микроволновка в общей прихожей, а также некоторая посуда.

Минусы: Сложно сказать. Разве что морозильник не совсем морозит и автоматический свет не всегда вовремя включался.

Плюсы: Excellent location - very quiet and yet not too far from the city centre. Good size of the room as well as of the bathroom. Helpful host, who lives next door, provides a map and tips of things to see in and outside of Palermo.

Минусы: Room wasn't ready to move into until the early evening, instead of advertised 15:30. Very small kitchen not fit for cooking proper meals.

Плюсы: Отзывчивый и вежливый персонал, объяснят и покажут все по запросу. Расположение отеля близко к достопримечательным, автобус 806 до Монделло рядом. В номере было чисто, меняли полотенца каждый день, обновляли банные принадлежности для ванной (мыло, гель для душа итд).

Плюсы: We had a late check-in and a car to park, the lateness of the hour made no difference and we received a excellent service, friendly, efficient, no fuss ,no problems. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. The breakfast is excellent, the best we've had on our travels! The morning coffee served to your choice and is excellent, there is a cooked breakfast, a continental breakfast, cakes, biscuits, flans and fresh fruit, all top drawer and excellent.

Плюсы: Perfect for the first two night stay in Palermo before our tour started. Hotel arranged airport transfer for us, friendly welcome at late check in, spacious room and bathroom, big comfy bed. A lot of sweet dishes/cakes on offer for breakfast but was happy with the good coffee and tasty hot egg/sausage option. Quick walk to Teatro Massimo which appears to be the central hub of the city.

Плюсы: DO NOT STAY!! MY ROOM WAS ROBBED HERE Worst experience on my life.. AND HOTEL WAS IN ON IT!! I was at Mondello beach I received a phone call from the hotel around noon, saying I needed to come back because some stuff may have been stolen from my room because a woman was caught on the surveillance in the lobby. I arrive to the Hotel around 3:30pm. I was asked to sit in the lobby and not go to the room yet (for what reason, I don’t know…) and after 30 minutes of waiting, I told them to take me to the room. For reference, my suitcase has been completely packed and ready for my flight back to New York the next morning at 4am… I first noticed that my laptop and Gucci purse were stolen, which is terrible but I figured that would be the case. What was to come was worse.. I come to find this woman stole all go my bathing suits ($200 each), workout clothes (all Lululemon), expensive dresses, vintage gold jewelry from grandmother, Gucci Purse, Laptop, shoes, all my loungewear, Vintage scarves and bandanas, and a 3 piece Italian swim suit set I got as my 25th birthday gift in capri (800 euro.) She stole my razor and tampons too! I was hysterical. My mom immediately asked to see the video footage. We saw this woman walked into the hotel around 10:45 am.. She looked identical to me - petite, brown long hair, tan. She walked directly to the back and went up the elevator without anyone stopping her. 25 minutes after, she is seen on tape leaving the hotel wearing ALL OF MY CLOTHES, holding a tote bag I got from my cousins wedding with their names on it! It was the most disturbing. 1st - How did this woman walk out with all of the items…. She certainly was NOT holding everything she had stolen from me. Someone must have helped. 2nd - Who robs someones room at 10:45 in the morning? And stays in there for 20 minutes? She knew I had left and she knew I wasn’t coming back for awhile. 3rd - 3rd - How did the hotel know she robbed MY room when they made that phone call?

Минусы: The robbery wasn't the worst part... How the hotel handled this TERRIBLY. My mother, being a lawyer, made them come with us to the police station to file a report. They said in their report I had left the door open, which was not true. The door clicks automatically and you need a keycard to access. We got the police report, went back to hotel and they filed an insurance claim. Once we got back to the states, they went pretty much radio silent. They refused to refund us for my room (FYI - I stayed in my parents room that last night… because I was so scared.) and they still had us pay!! It has now been over 4 weeks and we have received nothing back but a confirmation that they filed the claim. We have emailed them countless times, probably over 15 total, to receive one worded responses. They have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to try and make up for this. It was very clear and obvious someone at this hotel tipped off a gypsy woman and had a part of this robbery. I am a 25 year old woman who lives and supports herself in New York City. It has been financially and emotionally draining to start over and repair the damage of what I had stolen... If you read all of this, PLEASE do not stay here!! I am trying to help.. I don't wish this on anyone!!

Плюсы: The terrace was great for breakfast and the a good choice of foods, juices and coffees The room was a great size with a big bath tub! Not too far from the train station which is good although we walked the first time and it probably is a little too far with big bags! Hotel is close to the old town and the main sites and the people working on the desk were more than happy to give us maps, directions and advice!

Минусы: One of the sinks in our bathroom was broken, we kept on having problems with the electric key card to get into the room and the air con (apparently the hotel can turn both on/off from reception so you have to go back downstairs to make sure they do). No iron, even at reception, so be prepared to look wrinkly for your time in Palermo!

Минусы: Had to travel back a day earlier but the owner didn't even consider waiving part of the payment for the last night. Felt a bit like a prison as divided into two halves and couldn't enter the half we weren't staying in (which was where the tea and coffee facilities were). Breakfast had little variety. Road outside dirty with dog mess etc. Found the owner quite abrupt, we were about an hour later than expected and this appeared to be a major issue. The bed in my partner's room was very solid and uncomfortable. The lift was tiny and the key to one section of the building difficult to use - I was made out to be a bit stupid but my partner couldn't work it either or my son until we had used it a few times.

Плюсы: The place is central in the touristic heart of Palermo, but it was not noicy. The rooms are large and the bathroom is adequate.

Минусы: We booked breakfast for all the days. Breakfast in the B&B was okay, but the last day we got a ticket for breakfast at a bar. That was not very good and we could have had a better breakfast on a spot of our own choice for less the € 5,00 per person.

Плюсы: Hotel has a very nice patio where the bar is located. You can sit and relax there, have a drink. You will be surrounded by palm trees etc. Bar service will take a good care of you and is very kind. Cleaning service was very good and kind. Keeping the room very tidy and stocked with clean towels, water and toiletries. Parking area was in the object. Breakfast was good but rather far away from fantastic. For fantastic breakfast in Italy I would expect products like a variety tomatoes (only green tomatoes were available), mozzarella and other cheese selection (only some random yellow sliced cheese was available). Also for Sicily a freshly squeezed orange juice would be nice! Scrambled eggs were just a solid egg block. I do not think those are too high expectations - I had a breakfast like that in Sorrento some time ago and the hotel price was just a bit higher than here.

Минусы: Unfortunately the downsides were killing our mood constantly. First of all it seems like we were given lower grade room than we booked. We were supposed to have classic and we had economic I think. The room was veeery small and there were no windows (sic!). The only way to let the light in was the glass door (entrance to the room) which we had to keep curtained as we didn't want people to peek inside. Internet connection was very poor! Almost not working in most of the parts of the room. The air conditioning system was terrible. First of all, one day (and night) there was aircon malfunction and it was not working at all. Another unacceptable for me thing is that AC control is not up to the guest - it is controlled by the reception desk. It seems like you can request to lower the temperature in your room but then for some reason (energy savings?) it was changed again. Quite a few times I had to go/call the reception and ask to adjust the AC but then it was changes again. The worst was the night-time when in the middle of the night I was waking up boiling - temperature initially set (by my request) to 19C was changed to 27C. I'm not used to sleep in the temperature like that and I'm always booking rooms with AC. In this case, for me there was no AC.

We had a deluxe room and it was superb. Wonderful breakfast also. Great location and literally dozens of lovely restaurants in the vicinity

В итоге пришлось заново бронировать такой же номер, но на 100 евро дороже. Бред. Капучино варить не умеют, что удивительно для Италии. Отель в целом не тянет на 5 звезд, ожидания разошлись с реальностью.

Плюсы: Breakfast was on the top floor with a choice of inside or open air seating. very nice choice of Italian cakes and pastries and also eggs, bacon and grilled veges. Car parking was easy outside the hotel to drop off bags and then the concierge took the car for parking - retrieved it several times during or 3 day stay.

Минусы: Difficult to find the hotel because of construction works in the centre of the city and one way roads had changed which were not up to date the the hire car GPS.

Плюсы: Для пешего туриста - хорошее расположение отеля. Размер номера. Интересный дизайн.

Минусы: Google map, Yandex и встроенный в Букинг навигатор не смогли правильно проложить маршрут к отелю. 3 из четырех улиц - пешеходные. Подъехать к отелю- сложно. Самому найти парковку - не реально. Надо оставлять на перекрестки и просить портье отогнать на парковку. Короче- запара. У нас был семейный номер. Просторный, но тёмный. Все окна выходят в щели между домами. Так жить нельзя. Отель рекламируется как «спа», но спа постоянно занят. Видимо пользуется спросом у местных. Звукоизоляция - у нас в номере вторая спальня располагалась на втором, надстроенном этаже. Скип от шагов раздавался по всему номеру. Звукоизоляция просто никакая. Завтрак - может и не совсем плохо для Италии, где на завтрак обычно не кормят, но и не айс. К омлету даже сосисок не было.

Плюсы: Impeccable service. Can’t complain about anything!!!! We arrived in Palermo and planned to stay one night. However our flights got cancelled due to a strike and we haven’t been able to contact the agency all day to change flights in order for part of our group not to miss their connection. Giovanni kindly stayed on the line for about one hour with the airline desk at the airport and was able to get part of us on a flight the same day in order to get to our connection the next one. On top of that, the part of the group that stayed at the hotel really enjoyed it. Very very nice cozy hotel. Nice rooms, really clean and modern. Loved the changing light colors in the shower. AMAZING location right in the center of Palermo. Can’t complain, this hotel is amazing !!

Плюсы: The hotel is smack bang in the centre of the old town with easy access to the main markets, key sights, and good shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and tidy and the beds are comfy. We also paid for a spa experience for two and really enjoyed that.

Минусы: Some of the staff serving breakfast were not as friendly, attentive or helpful as the main reception staff - they ignored my wife on a couple of occasions - but we appreciate people can have an off day and can't say it massively ruined our overall experience.

Плюсы: The location was good for walking but do not stay here if you are renting a car. Impossible to drive to the hotel as all streets leading to it are pedestrian only streets. The hotel says they have parking, but they do not. The room was spacious, but not comfortable. They did not take advantage of the space or use it well.

Минусы: Parking was horrendous. They lied about it and made us think we could drive to the hotel when we could not. We drove for an hour and called the hotel. They told us to keep trying. Horrible. The bed had only a top sheet on it. No comforter or duvet. The make up mirror was placed a foot too high for me to use and I am 5'10". There was no where to hang up suits or dresses, only shorts shorter than 2 feet long. A few shelves. No other drawers, or areas to out clothes. The staff was rude and unhelpful. We have stayed in many 4 and 5 star resorts in Europe, Asia, USA, and Central America. This was the worst.

Плюсы: Месторасположение.

Минусы: При бронировании заказывал номер с балконом и видом на Площадь Массимо, но получил номер с отвратительным видом на стену соседнего здания, номера де-люкс, самого дорогого, половину которого занимает бесполезный коридор! Заявленные на сайте «уникально оформленные номера» на деле оказались номерами с простенькой корпусной мебелью, а «роскошное постельное белье и полотенца» (читайте внимательно описание номера) - обычным бельем, застиранные полотенца среднего размера! Tupical-завтрак включал в себя Yupi-апельсиновый-сок (химический на Сицилии!), круассаны, сухие хлебные тосты в пластике и кекс! Отель, заявленный на сайте как 4-х звездочный, на самом деле оказался 3-х звездочным, фото ниже.

Плюсы: Massimo Plaza hotel is very well located in the Old City of Palermo. It is not the most luxe hotel in Palermo but neither did we pay for Luxe. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome by the charming helpful staff. Such a good feeling in a city and a language one is not familiar with . The staff were outstanding, from reception to the cleaners, breakfast delivered to your room no extra charge and explaining patiently for the 10th time how to get to a a destination. They didn’t forget our slightest request and all this without being intrusive ,they even troubleshot for us after checkout. We felt most welcome and and this definitely contributed to our great enjoyment of our time in Palermo.

Минусы: The breakfast that was included was very unimaginative. Bread was hard and dry. No yogurt, no fruit or juice. No cereals. Only one cup of coffee.

Плюсы: Breakfast choice limited but reasonable quality and adequate . Can be served in the room but preferred the breakfast lounge . Staff very friendly and helpful . Location next to the pedestrian main street couldn't be better and plenty of restaurants down the side streets . We had a room with a front view which I presume would be better . Room size good .

Минусы: Because it is a small hotel you have to choose a breakfast time but that didn't cause us any problems . Our first option room was next to the breakfast lounge which wasn't so good but they changed us to a nicer room .
