A beautiful place

Really loved the waterfront room. The view of the lake amazing. Loved the music on the patio at night. The suite was very comfortable and not full of the smelly artificial fragrances a lot of hotels use for cleaning and air freshener.

The staff almost got it right. They could be so good. I liked the girl at breakfast remembered me and specifics of what I liked such as water, no ice. She took my orders, brought it and disappeared. Same thing happened at lunch time. The wait staff were not available when we needed them. Dinner could have been amazing but we waited over an hour between salads and main course without even seeing our waitress. The food was good most of the time, dinner was ok, had chicken dumpling soup with no dumplings for instance. Lamb rack was tender but an off flavor. One night we had cheese plate at bar and it was meager compared to other nights, We have been to the restaurant in previous years and it was outstanding. Front desk people were inconsistent with information. Cleaning staff were excellent but three of them would gather in a room and talk and laugh. I love this place and I think it could be top notch with some good staff training. It would also be nice to be greeted with a bell man to take luggage upon arrival. As I said, we love this place and will be back. Probably will not utilize the restaurant as much as we did this trip.

Romantic Getaway

The hotel room is spacious with a comfortable bed which overlooks beautiful Lake Geneva's lake. The hotel's restaurant has excellent food with a large selection of delicious meals which is elegant & also overlooks the lake. The hotel and restaurant staff are professional. I will definitely return for future stays.
