Staff were extremely helpful and kind. Likely to make up for the hotel's shortcomings.

Tiny, cheaply finished rooms. Rooms stripped of basics (soap/waste bins). Feels like a cheap motel. 20-minute drive from Nîmes proper. Pool tiny and dirty. Understaffed. Food service on a porch only. For those whose prime concern is cost; no joy otherwise.

The room was comfortable & very clean ,the location was very quiet,the mini bar was well stocked .

When I booked this hotel ,the website said there was a very good restaurant ,they forgot to mention it was closed for the season from October onwards . We arrived at 9pm by taxi after a long journey having only had a sandwich all day ,to be told there was nowhere to get anything to eat in the vicinity ,as we were not due to pick up a hire car until the next day it meant we had nothing to eat that night .We could not get a hot drink either ,no tea /coffee facilities. The hot water system was very poor ,you had to run the water for at least 10/15 mins to get any & on the sat night there was none at all.Staff were no where to be seen only at breakfast .

The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the hotel was set in a lovely peaceful rural location

The hotel claims to offer a bar and restaurant offering gourmet French cuisine. The hotel forgot to mention on their website that these are only available 1 June - 1 September! As it's in the middle of nowhere this was a major inconvenience to us. Furthermore, the hotel offered no tea or coffee making facilities. We had to drive into Nimes to buy a cup of coffee and buy bottles of water. There was insufficient hot water for all the guests, the reception desk was unmanned, there was no heating in the room, and there was no-one on duty when we (and 8 other people) wanted to check-out on sunday morning. We had to wait for the owner to get out of bed so we could pay and leave.
