It was a short walk to the falls.
The pool was under renovations which I was never made aware of, very dissapointing when your children get all there swim stuff on, walk across the parking lot to the main building and down a long hallway to see a room full of mattresses and furniture. Our room was not in the main building, hallways were very dirty with stained carpet, pop machine was out of order and ice machine was missing. The phone in the room didn't work, the lady at the desk said that we could sign into Netflix if we had an account which we do but, another staff member that came to give us the Roku password so we could sign into the t.v. then denied us saying it would slow down the wifi for everyone else. The channels in the guide were all wrong and there were barely any channels to watch, could only get a couple channels with extremely old shows on them.
Front desk was inconsistent in notifying guests of $15+tax parking fee, therefore we were unaware until check-out that this had automatically been added to our bill. Staff unwilling to waive this fee despite the fact that we hadn't been notified on check-in. Overpriced given that it was a Saturday in October, and we weren't able to access our room until 4pm even though check-in is at 3pm.

For the money this was a pretty good Hotel. It is in a great location.
Bathroom tissue holder broken. Part of hotel is a separate 2-story building, like a cheap motel. Which you would not know, until you are placed there at check in. When it gets colder, it becomes a problem if you are traveling with kids and want to use the pool. Parking is not free, but it's not uncommon for a Niagara hotel. Lesson for me to ask about these details before booking
Definitely Worth it if your on a budget
-location is perfect -complementary breakfast included and it's good! -nice staff -pool -excellent value for what you pay and get in return
-parking lot charges $15.00 daily! -room had a weird smell coming from AC unit and carpet had a big stain.
The hotel didn't have the room we reserved and ended up switching our room twice. We ended up with a room with no air conditioning the room was disgusting they only gave us a small desk top fan since the air conditioning was broken. The desk attendant was not trying to help us at all. Other people were complaining of their rooms leaking and making a reservation and the hotel did not have a room for them. I was extremely dissatisfied. Hot day in August with 2 small children with no air conditioning and lazy staff. I will never stay there again. Also WiFi was horrible we only had a couple towels in our room and the towels had stains on them. The sheets were dirty and the tub had water in it that would not drain. I was totally disgusted.

Wifi was so bad we had to go to Debby's and that cost me $60.00 and breakfast was hard to get. Do not stay here. The location is good.
Don't go if you plan to get some sleep
The walls are paper thin and a group of over 20 people were having a party next door. I called down to the front desk twice and eventually the police came. When I told them that no one should have to pay for such a horrible stay...with no sleep! They told me that I could forget about not paying for the evening. Very disappointing.
I liked that it was very centrally located and we were able to walk to almost every spot we wanted to go.

We made this reservation based on Baymont Inns in the Houston area...the one in Canada was not representative of the other ones we have stayed in. Horrible!!

The washroom needed to be clean we asked housekeeping to clean the toilet and she just did not bother with us she changed the topic and ask us about the a/c
Hard to find as new cloth sign was not visable from the road. Once given a room, it had not been cleaned yet, so we had to find hotel staff to get another room, as no one was at desk to answer phone, and then the card did not work, so down the whole length of the hallway, then 4 floors down again to fix that problem. We got an apology for all of this.
Repair work from 07:30-19:00 and was very loud; hot and cold water in the bathtub was reversed (as mentioned in French review, below) and not many hotels in the civilized world can claim such a configuration; drain in the bathtub was very poor.
we used the pool and the hot tub everyday and sometimes more than once-very relaxing
the elevator broke-unable to walk up stars--we changed our plans and had to leave and returned in about 4 hrs and it was repaired
