Плюсы: Приветливый персонал. Отличные номера. Обязательно берите номер с балконом и видом на порт, вид открывается шикарный!!!! Wi-fi работал хорошо. Завтрак довольно разнообразный. До главных достопримечательностей можно дойти пешком. До вокзала идти минут 20 пешком. Рядом станция метро.

Плюсы: Our room had a balcony with a port view. Even though the room was not big it as very comfortable. Staff was very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations and reservations. Yes, it does help to have the hotel book your table. All the restaurants booked by the hotel gave us excellent tables and super service.

Минусы: The shower head was next to a metal lined box-like thing in the wall. One could easily be brained if one was not super careful and aware.

Минусы: в данном номере плохо закрывалась балконная дверь.

Плюсы: Нас радушно встретили, но заселили как и положено только в 15.00. В номере есть все необходимое. Расположение лучше не придумаешь. Ну и вид конечно просто потрясающий , с утра поднимает настроение. Слева и справа ресторанчики.

Плюсы: The location was perfect, right on the port with great views!

Плюсы: Location was excellent with wonderful views over the old port and the cathedral. Loved the markets on the waterfront opposite and the ability to walk to numerous attractions and fantastic restaurants. Loved the vibe of Marseille and the multi-cultural population. Vibrant and fun. Bed was extremely comfortable and wi-fi was good. Room had all facilities needed. Eric on the fron desk was excellent, friendly and a great source of local information..

Минусы: The room was on the first floor, 106 and had no sheer or privacy curtains which meant whilst the view was superb, there was no privacy unless you closed the main curtains which then defeated the purpose of having the view. Room was a quite run down with large stains on the carpet and the tap in tha basin was split. We asked for a room change but the hotel was booked out which made it the more strange that the restaurant attached to the hotel which doubles as the hotel bar was shut for August. Whilst have travelled France extensively, we are very aware that people go away for August but for a 4 star hotel on the sourthern coast that people are flocking to at this time was crazy. All the other restaurants and hotels along the waterfront were all open and doing a thriving business. We have travelled the work and it is the first time I have ever been in a hotel claiming to be 4 star where these facilities weren't available. They had a trolley in the lobbey with some bottles on it which you could help yourself too, however it wasnt really that suitable. Importantly, the hotel should have let potential guests know that these facilities were not going to be available to enable a decision to be made.

Плюсы: Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location and offering beautiful views of the harbour. Staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. They made us very welcome and went out of their way to ensure the safe return of something we accidentally left in the safe. They were also quick to respond to questions we had ahead of our stay, honestly we couldn't fault the service at all! and would definitely recommned staying here.

Плюсы: Room was huge. Staff was very helpful in answering questions and arranging a taxi to the airport.

Минусы: Location was a bit further away from the port than I expected (10 minute uphill walk) and basic room was a little louder than ideal since it was right on the main road.

Плюсы: The C2 is high end for Marseille and the room was enormous

Минусы: The Hotel C2 is not in the port but it is also not far so the walk was good. There was only one cleaner that made me feel uncomfortable!!

Плюсы: The hotel is a beautiful town house which has been lovingly restored. My room had a wonderful view of the Notre Dame and was only a short walk from Vieux Port. The staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Плюсы: Bed very comfortable. Nice spa. Super calm.

Минусы: The bar was supposed to close at midnight and last order was at 11:30 pm. We arrived at 11:28 pm and everything was already close.

Плюсы: The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the bustle and restaurants and shopping of Vieux Port but in a quiet and secluded street. It has a spa which is great for relaxing, fabulous breakfast, great staff and good quality snacking if you are not up to going out for dinner. It’s an old characterful building with understated modern rooms.

Минусы: There are no views from the hotel and I didn’t find a lounge but there is an outside patio which is great in the spring and summer and the rest of this very comfortable and stylish hotel in a vibrant city makes up for it

Плюсы: The hotel was beyond beautiful. The staff was the most caring I have ever experienced. They sent us to an incredible restaurant, then arranged for us to be driven back. When we encountered a train strike for the next stage of our journey they were relentless in finding us a car and driver.

Минусы: I wish we could have stayed longer.

Плюсы: Full marks to the architects who turns this 19th century townhouse into a contemporary hotel. So many architects would have ruined the character to maximize profits, but here they took full advantage of the building’s character, while giving it all the style you want in a modern design hotel. The service was friendly and professional - the staff seemed genuinely enthusiastic to be working there and were keen to tell us about the hotel’s history and conversion. The breakfast and bar are superb and the spa in her basement is brilliantly designed. Only a short walk from the hotel to all the bits of Marseille you could want to see! Our room was big, with high ceilings and a great bathroom (the shower had room for six people - not that we availed ourself of that opportunity!), and the toiletries from Hermès were a nice touch. We didn’t get to use the private island as we were only there for a night, but that’s just another reason to return, isn’t it? All in all a lovely experience.

Минусы: No big deal, but pricing that doesn’t include breakfast is always irritating, particularly at this level.

Минусы: 1st room had a strong smell of urine and we were not ordered an alternative. Instead we were forced to upgrade.

Плюсы: Excellent 5 star hotel with breathtaking view of the old port. We were upgraded to a fantastic room with a private huge balcony and stunning view. Excellent staff, room, breakfast and one star Michelin restaurant "Alcyon" Would stay thee again without hesitation

Минусы: Nothing. We loved the whole experience. A True 5 star hotel.

Минусы: Wasn't aware breakfast wasn't included until check in. Disappointed to have to pay extra for this. Also wanted to watch a movie.....then was asked for 15 EUROS to watch one! Not happy.

Плюсы: Близость к вокзалу и метро, да и, в целом, к центру - удобно добираться до любых достопримечательностей Марселя Проапгрейдили номер до Делюкса - что было неожиданным сюрпризом. Большая и удобная кровать, никакой уличный шум не беспокоил, номер убирался каждый день (чистые полотенца и бутылки воды)

Минусы: Соседние улицы нельзя назвать безопасными и чистыми; номер маленький (боюсь представить размеры номера классом ниже), нет холодильника, WI-FI только по паролям, которые нужно брать каждый день на ресепшен; почему-то туалетные принадлежности в виде шапочки для душа только на одного, хотя изначально нас было заявлено двое; нет зубных щеток и тапочек

Плюсы: Staff everywhere were amazing Breakfast was great - especially the goat cheese and honey omelette - delicious

Минусы: The towels in our room weren’t very nice - they could have been a bit bigger and a little bit more fluffy

Плюсы: The staff were absolutely amazing , we wanted to stay and extra night and they were fully booked but found us a space in their another location , we couldn’t stay but we loved everything so much we will definitely comeback . I fully recommend this property and their staff

Плюсы: Perfect location steps from the train station and a pleasant 15 mins. walk to the vieux port. Cute lobby design and lounge area with complimentary lemon water and coffee. The lounge has a wide selection of drinks and snacks, which we enjoyed. Efficient check-in/check-out process. Room was basic but had a nice balcony with a good view. Staff were friendly and gave us some suggestions on things to do (but not super helpful when a problem arose, see below).

Минусы: Room smelled very musty/like sewer. Strangely, there was no smell in the hallway, just our room. We tried to identify the cause and found the pillows smelled absolutely foul - like bad body odour/sweat that had seeped into the pillow and/or the pillow cases were not clean. We had to go to the front desk and ask for new pillows, and staff were flippant and did not even apologize (wishful thinking, I was hoping we would be offered a different room as the stench was so bad). I'm not one to complain and I wanted the staff to smell how bad the pillows reeked so they could understand, but the man who came to the room said it was pointless because he cannot smell anything (okay, this is possible if he had a rare medical condition limiting his smell, but again all I wanted was an apology or some acknowledgement of what went wrong... If I were running a hotel, I would be appalled that such a pillow would be allowed into a guest room. It also made us question the cleanliness of their other linens, but we were only staying 1 night so just tried to suck it up). The breakfast area looked cute but for 14 euros it's a bit pricey, but in keeping with other hotel breakfasts. We ate at a nearby cafe instead. Part of the reason I booked this hotel was because I was excited to use the steam room and dry sauna facilities. I saw in reviews that the cost was 25 euros for 1 person or 40 euros for 2 (reviews within the last year). Well, they jacked up the price to 35 euros per person (cheaper for 2) so in the end I decided it wasn't worth it. For just 5 euros more, I could visit a Relais & Chateaux spa facility for 3 hours (Coquillade Village in the Luberon, look it up, it is stunning!) so ALEX's pricing didn't seem competitive with other spas.

Плюсы: Местораспложение - лучше не придумаешь. Номера уютные и при этом комфортные. Вид из номера - огонь! Рядом всё есть от парковки и сада на скале до вечерней улицы с ресторанами и барами. Завтрак неплохой.

Минусы: До парковки авто идти минут 10. Дополнительных удобств особо нет.

Плюсы: Fantastic place with great staff. The restaurant is magnificent. The food is marvelous in its simplicity, finesse and taste. Incredible marriage of tastes, parfums and 3* service. Very pet friendly.

Плюсы: Неплохой для Франции завтрак. Вкусные булочки, йогурты и мюсли. По желанию приготовят яйца. Если повезёт с номером, то вид будет прям на море.

Минусы: Ужасный сервис. Ждали свои номера по приеду вечером. Персонал хамит и не воспитан (на наши претензии менеджер так и не вышел ). Отель состоит из двух здани, которые разделяет довольно вонючая улица, где складируются отходы отеля. Интерьер довольно убогий. Бассейн грязный. Рестран 3 звезды мишлен - полный провал. Вид из ресторана на море, но на камнях расположились отдыхающие. Громкая музыка, крики и построение запахи портят отмосферу. Персонал не подготовлен для такого уровня ресторана. (Забывали приборы, неодновременная подача и тд. ) Часть официантов не знает английский. Сыры на сырной тарелки были раславнеными так, как стояли на улице под солнцем неприкрытые. Еда посредственная, навсегда вкусная, но с претензией. Своих 100 евро за блюдо не стоит.

Плюсы: The food, the weather, the hospitality. Absolutely gorgeous.

Минусы: Traffic during rush hour. The extremely challenging short road leading to the hotel. Initially thought will be able to catch nice sea view /sunset. But the Seaview was partially being obstructed by buildings and window are not facing west. Nevertheless get to catch the sky turning red.

Плюсы: Отель расположен в очень живописном месте. Здесь Вам и вид на порт, и на город, и на море, и на крепость. В общем, всё, что Вы захотите посетить в течение отдыха можно увидеть заранее с трассы Вашего номера. Персонал приветливый. Раньше положенных 16 часов не заселили, но для меня это не стало проблемой - ожидание скоротали за вкусным обедом и бокалом розе в уютном ресторане при отеле с потрясающим видом. Номер оказался хуже ожиданий - все-таки отель не новый. Халаты недостаточно "пушистые", видно что уже не первой свежести. В целом номер достаточно простой, хотя и ТВ (без русских каналов), и обогреватель/кондиционер, и хорошая акустика Bose - все это есть!!! Мебель так себе, кровать большая, но матрас неудобный. НО!!! Все минусы перекрываются видом с терассы!!! На это великолепие можно зависать часами!!! Однозначно рекомендую к посещению!!!

Минусы: The duvets were very heavy, and the shower leaked constantly, which meant the floormat was soaked through before we had used the bathroom. I liked the fact that there was a swimming pool, but it an odd shape and very shallow at one end, so difficult to swim lengths.

Плюсы: Modern, with great view restaurant, near to main attractions

Плюсы: Spectacular location and views, overlooking the marina and Fort Saint-Jean. Service was excellent, Dante’s Skylounge is small but eye-popping view of the marina, and dining at Les Trois Forts was excellent.

Плюсы: This hotel was more than we were expecting for a costal French town. The inside was absolutely chic - super clean, amazing big bed, awesome shower, and a great view! The only con was that it was a bit of a walk from the main areas. Totally worth it though!

Плюсы: The location of the property is ideal. Right in the harbor so that was great. Staff was super friendly and very helpful.

Минусы: Its horrific to get to this property by car. Its difficult to navigate the streets trying to find the entrance. There is so much major construction surrounding the hotel that it can be very intimidating. There is staff to help you once you get there though to help with the luggage.. The rooms were large and spacious and clean but need some updating on basics like drapery, and rugs.

Плюсы: Шикарный завтрак с видом на Старый порт, просто шикарное расположение - Старый порт совмем поблизости, до Базилики/смотровой площадки и Парка Лоншан с красивыми фонтанами при хорошей погоде легко можно и прогуляться пешком, наслаждаясь атмосферой прекрасного Марселя.

Минусы: Очень дорогая подземная парковка рядом с отелем, самая дорогая за мое двухнедельное путешествие по Франции (31,70 ЕВРО)

Плюсы: They were very accommodating when i asked for another room. They were helpful in making reservations and providing information when asked other then knowledge of the neighbourhood.

Минусы: They were not very familiar with restaurants in their neighborhood. They tried to offer us a sub par room to the picture provided on booking .com. we had to ask for soap and a wine bottle opener.

Минусы: Made this booking a long time ago to celebrate my birthday. We had stayed before and liked the hotel very much. We arrived from the airport at around 9 pm to find there were only twin beds available even though we had requested a double. We were given an ‘upgraded’ room with two singles - ok, so that happens. No big deal. Arrived to find a welcome card in the room addressed to someone else (maybe he got our double bed?). Also a plate of snacks for the mystery guest that looked like someone had tasted and then left. The shower ceiling was mouldy and the drains didn’t work properly. Worst of all was that the room was so noisy (street noise) we only slept between midnight and 3 a.m. I could put up with the room change and even the mouldy ceiling but really - you pay to SLEEP in a hotel and we just didn’t. Really disappointed with our stay.

Минусы: В двухместном номере почему -то был 1 халат и 1 пара тапочек. Ужасный ресторан при отеле. Еда абсолютно невкусная, обслуживание ужасное. Остались голодными, потому что есть это было невозможно.

Плюсы: -Сотрудники идут навстречу при решении проблем, созданных отелем. -Стильно, но отделка дешевая.

Минусы: -Цена вообще не соответствует качеству. -Повелась на красивые картинки и многообещающее название. В реальности все хуже. -Нас заселили в крошечный номер на мансарде с большими и очень грязными окнами (см фото). Кроме того, дверь в ванной была заляпана. За 130€/ночь. Возможно, это повсеместная проблема во Франции, это у меня уже третий случай за год во французских отелях дороже 100€/ночь. В итоге номер заменили на чистый и более просторный. -При бронировании я написала, что мы приедем с 15 до 16, путешествуем с кошкой и осведомилась о цене. Мне пришло автоматическое подтверждение с комментарием, что услуга бесплатна, но как оказалось, это было про время заезда, а про кошку ничего не сказали. При заселении тоже ничего не сказали, а при выселении осведомили, что еще 25€ доплата. Когда я спросила, почему мне об этом не сообщили заранее при бронировании, с меня не взяли денег за кошку. -В описании написано ковровое покрытие, но был линолеум или что-то подобное. Прикрепляю фото из первого номера, ко второму претензий нет.

Плюсы: The room were clean, nice decoration, air conditionning and staff very friendly. The breakfast was super tasty and the restaurant room is very roomy. Perfect experience for Marseille!

Минусы: We found the odour in the room was offensive it smelt like extremely strong urine coming from bathroom or toilet areas. 1 of us has lung and heart problems and we are very careful with cleanliness because of it. Dust had settled on the wall in the toilet room.

Плюсы: Cute little hotel in the center of all. Front desk (almost certain her name is Christine) was very helpful. She confirmed our tour and made excellent recommendations of where to eat and visit... always with a smile. Made the difference in having such a pleasant experience.

Минусы: Rooms do not have an iron board or iron :(

Минусы: This isn't really three hotel's fault, but right now the noise around the hotel is horrendous mostly because of all the construction on top of the very busy area. Tiny slow elevator.

Минусы: Отель находится в Порту Марселя. Нам не очень повезло, по всем улица шла стройка и всё было перекрыто. Условия в отеле как раз на пару дней отдыха. Горячая вода есть, полотенца чистые, в номере есть всё необходимое. Завтрак за 8€ очень разнообразный.

Плюсы: Очень удобное место расположения. Приятный и отзывчивый персонал. Вкусные завтраки.

Минусы: Шумоизоляция просто ни какая. Слышно все что происходит на улице, а учитывая что это место с большим скоплением разного рода людей, то пустым оно не бывает ни когда. Можно проснуться от криков и ругани в 3 утра и лежать их и слушать

Минусы: My girlfriends sandals where stolen from the room. Overheard another person who had a dress "missing", unacceptable.

Плюсы: Несложно добраться до вокзала. Рядом трамвайная и автобусная остановки. До центра при желании можно дойти пешком за полчаса. Чистый просторный номер для 3 взрослых с ребенком. Можно отделить 1 кровать перегородкой. Есть и ванна, и душ, и отдельный туалет. И даже кресло-качалка. Мини-кухня с чайником, микроволновкой и хорошей кофеваркой. Чай, кофе. 1 бутылочка воды в день б/пл. Удобные кровати.

Минусы: Мини-бар совсем не охлаждал. Персонал проблему так и не решил, хотя пытался. Предложили воспользоваться холодильником на ресепшен. Дверь в ванную комнату с отверстиями, никак не закрывается. Сейф платно. Одна наволочка на подушке была абсолютно вся дырявая, как решето. Забрали, но замены не нашли. Выдали нормальную только на 2-й день. Фитнес-зал с минимальным набором оборудования. Завтраки дорогие, 15 евро.

Плюсы: Property is lovely and it had everything we needed. Rooms are quite big and roomy. Tram outside takes you to the Old Port and you have two shopping centres close by which you can walk to. Not many restaurants close by to get dinner.

Минусы: Bathroom doors have cut out holes which we didn't like. Also not many places near by to get dinner from.

Плюсы: The hotel was very clean and the rooms are well appointed. It was a rainy day when we checked in and the staff were friendly and apologetic for the weather, how sweet. The pool area and patio are great! Great place to simply "relax" Lots around, shopping all around, near the port and not too far from the marina where there are lots of restaurants. The location is pretty good and if you like to walk, lots to see within 30-45 minutes walk. They had slippers in the room, I love that!!

Минусы: Well... I didn't like the price of the breakfast OMG! 19 Euros! We walked 7 minutes to the mall across the street and paid 3€90

Плюсы: The motel is beautifully located and the rooms spacious and comfortable. I recommend a room with ocean views it is only 10 Euro more. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay at the Holden Tulip again. Fantastic.

Минусы: We stayed there three nights, but they didn't change the sheet and pillowcase during our stay. There were no glasses or mug in the room. Everything was from paper or plastic.

Минусы: For the price of the hotel, you could have expected the rooms to be a little bit cleaner, and also they could actually train their staff to be a bit more friendly and welcoming. Also, the room walls and bathroom floors should be cleaned a bit more than what i experienced. The desk chairs need to be a bit more comfortable

Минусы: Отель расположен далеко от центра и старого порта. Рядом совсем скушный торговый центр. Парковка за углом. Вокруг пусто. Персонал отеля не очень дружелюбен и заинтересован в помощи. У них даже не было карты ))

Плюсы: Удобное расположение отеля, недалеко от метро и всего в двух остановках до Старого порта и основных достопримечательностей. Кого интересуют пляжи - имейте в виду, что до них нужно ехать на автобусе или идти пешком минут 40. Почти в центре города, не смотря на это, в номере было тихо, шум улицы не беспокоил, звукоизоляция хорошая. Все необходимое есть, включая сейф, утюг с доской. Комфортная кровать, матрасы очень эргономичные. Посуда в достаточном количестве, хороший холодильник с морозильной камерой. Апарт-отель оставил очень приятное впечатление. Благодарны за раннее размещение! (заселение тут с 15 ч., нас поселили сразу по прибытии в 13.

Плюсы: It has some style, more of a boutique hotel than a faceless chain. Loved the comfortable seating near the pool, big comfortable chairs/ sofas. Easy walk to a sandy beach too. 24 hour front desk was good as I arrived v late. When I arrived, the front garden area at night had a real wow factor. Hilarious cacti in the gents by the bar too. Made me laugh at the silliness. Room was nice and comfortable. Bar seemed reasonably priced.

Минусы: Couple of minor things. Wouldn’t stop me going back in a heartbeat though. Service at pool area was a bit slow and inattentive. (I would have bought more drinks and maybe snacks had I been approached more) Outside felt ever so slightly in need of some maintenance. Nothing major, just weathering. Shower head was the wrong one for the fitting - water came out at 90 degrees into your face! Good water pressure and warmth but a weird angle.

Минусы: breakfast has deteriorated a lot (was much better in the past, now you have no service, you go to a low quality coffee machine to get your coffee, you queue - one of the 2 machines was broken and never fixed during our week stay, no more local or fresh products, everything very industrial, and staff are not cleaning after clients, the patio is invaded by pigeons as a result...staff especially at the breakfast are not welcoming, the facility has aged and is not well maintained, we had bad sewage smell near our room. Overall the hotel needs to do some effort to stay at the level of a 4 stars, management needs to do something.

Плюсы: We’ve stayed here four years in a row and it’s always been great - the rooms, the pool, the breakfast, the location are all excellent. It’s clean and comfortable and the food is good. It’s the perfect base to reach both the vieux port and other areas in Marseille.

Минусы: Unfortunately this year the bar service was really poor. We waited sometimes half an hour for our orders and then they were often the wrong drinks when we received them. There was a big Johnson and Johnson conference on all week we were there and this clearly put too much pressure on staff - it was obvious they were understaffed. It was a real shame as it’s lively bar to sit and have a drink in but after a few attempts we gave up completely.

Минусы: Don’t bother with paying for a suite - it’s not a suite, it’s just a normal room with a very tired and stained sofa in it. Very overpriced and scruffy. You don’t even get access to the coffee machine without paying for it. Both showers didn’t work properly either.

Минусы: Pigeons stoke people who eat at the terrace, walk all over tables. Do not eat outside. Staff at the bar/restaurant are unprofessional, slow. Wrong food served after ordering, 2,5hours lasted 3meals course to be served.

Плюсы: Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom amenities were good quality.

Минусы: As we had few small issues, have been reported to the reception staff, we noticed that they were not really interested in sorting it out without spoiling our stay. When we enter in the room after checking in, we use to check if everything is ok and clean in the room. We found the jar of nuts from minibar open, so we brought at the reception straight away to report that it wasn't us who open it, but at the check out we had the charge for nuts on our bill. Secondly in the evening we wanted to make some tea in our room and when place water in the kettle, we felt a horrible smell from it. We reported and asked the staff from reception to be washed or changed, but when we returned to our room in the evening we found the same smelly kettle in the room. Called reception again to report and it took for them around one hour to replace it, without any call from reception to let us know that it will take some time to replace the kettle with another one. Apart of that in one of the mornings at the breakfast, the juice machine was broken and when we tried to make some orange juice it split over my cloths. Again staff was there seeing that, but without any reaction. Next morning (Tuesday) we came for breakfast around 9:30, the cantin area was looking very dirty: floor everywhere and no clean tables to seat and have our breakfast, we had to look where is the staff to bring us some cutlery. The hotel has a beautiful design and it is in a very nice location, but all these issues disappointed us and gave us the feeling that we were not welcome.

Good breakfast oat flakes, butter, coffee, tea, bread. Nearby the Lidl shop to go 3 minutes, very conveniently. The big kitchen is the microwave, the refrigerator.

Минусы: Завтрак начинается в 8.00 .Лучше когда в 7.00. Холодильник лучше поставить ещё один, потому что в этом мало места. The breakfast begins at 8:00. Better when at 7:00. The refrigerator is better to put one more because in it there is not enough place.

Плюсы: Me gustó que incluye el desayuno, la limpieza de los baños excelente, me gustó que había suficientes y espaciosos porque en la mayoría de hostel o en casi todos sólo hay un servicio y un baño para 8 personas y además son diminutos y súper incómodos pero en Vertigo no y eso me encantó. Tampoco te cobran por guardar la maleta si hacés el check in antes o necesitás guardarla después del check out y eso me pareció genial también

Плюсы: Perfect location close to the vieux-port, very near to many many restaurants, boat acces-points and near the marseille tourist information centre. Friendly hosts and a very clean practical hostel.

Минусы: The shower was a little cold and you had to share the bathroom with your four roommates, which meant that sometimes you had to wait until it was no longer occupied. Breakfast in the morning was simple but good, I only thought it was sad that there were only "one-person" tables, not quite promoting conversation.

Плюсы: Location in first district (1re arr). Just on the corner there is a libanese restaurant with take-away food. Try kefta and vegetarian kebab with tamboulé. Taste baklava. When going out of hostel, there's a nice view on Vieux Por (literally 1min to the port). Metro station is located 3min of walk from the hostel. It will take you to Gare Sncf within 3 minutes. Notre Dame de LA Garde is about 20min of climbing. Basically everything is close, as you live in the center. Comfortable bunk beds. Newly renovated rooms. I got dorm for 6. There were 2 bathrooms inside (wow :)) That was perfect. Plenty of space in rooms, lockers, electricity plugs. Newly renovated bathrooms Goood wifi. Kitchen is full of tools. You can cook, spend time with other guests, talk, watch TV etc. Big window in room. Luggage room. I left my backpack without any additional fees. :)

Минусы: Very little choice of products for breakfast. Baguette, coffee, tea, cereals. Must clean dishes.

Плюсы: Good hostel. Lots of steps to climb but staff very friendly and helpful. Carried my suitcase upstairs as have a shoulder problem. Very friendly and helpful at all times. Room, bath and kitchen clean. Good wifi. Close to harbour, bus and Metro to get to train station and from there to airport.

Минусы: For a hostel found it expensive. Seems to be generally the case in France. Muesli was loaded with sugar, way to sweet. Breakfast otherwise ok. Juice milk, coffee n bread w jam n butter. Standard stuff

Плюсы: The staff was very helpful especially after an slightly unpleasant incident. The room I stayed had a window in the roof which was a logical and cool idea.

Минусы: The stairs to get to the rooms. It is hard to haul heavy luggage up and down the stairs. They have a luggage room which could help with having to haul the luggage up the stairs especially if you are staying one night.

Плюсы: 24 hours open reception. Especially I would like to say thanks to man on the reception, he was very friendly and kind, - he give me cap of tea after midnight when I come, help with baggage and explained the better way to metro. The place quiet and few minutes to the port. Two metro stations at 7-8 minutes by walk. Night mini market with enough good meal was open just near the door of the hostel, it is important for me. In the room was bathroom - all was good, calm and clean.

Минусы: I stayed only one night and not saw any minuses.

Минусы: The female receptionist is not friendly and impatient.she introduced the hostel in a way of repeating video. The male receptionist is nice and helpful! no lift! In the room,beds are set in an attic,with a narrow and steep stairs leading to there .Bathroom and toilet are below the attic. breakfast is served in a derelict room like garage.

Минусы: the staff weren’t friendly. Car park had to be parked in advance which we were not made aware of at booking.

Плюсы: Really amazing place! We had an upgrade during our stay and free bar because of our wedding anniversary! Personnel is really amazing and can help you in any situation. Room was very clean and soundproof. Parking was little bit expensive (15 eur. per day) but it’s still ok. Location also was very nice and convenient.

Плюсы: I booked it as it was extremely close to our trip objective and this was the only good thing... aaa.. and some of the staff was really nice trying to compensate... still, if possible, I'll avoid Marriott as a chain in the future... after such a "surprising" experience...

Минусы: The last few years I've travelled a bit and this was the first hotel to claim the full payment at booking without option for at least partial refund in case of cancellation ... Initially they even cancelled my booking as they had "issues" with my card, the same used for re-booking though :)... We arrived late, as announced at booking and, athough booked for two adults and a child, the child bed was not made, no sheets, no towels for the kid - nothing - completely overlooked. The staff came with sheets and made the bed but forgot the towels and I did not even asked again -I was really expecting a different level of service. Then, the requested parking was also overlooked and I had to claim it - also it is across the street from the hotel, making it awkward to get kid's towel, among other stuff from the car in the middle of the night.
