The location was very convenient for my business trip and has easy access to/from 836. It has great facilities like the gym and restaurants in the lobby. I also liked the daily rate for self parking is only $7 a day, most hotels I've stayed at charge $20-30/day. Aging structure, old and small elevators, dirty carpets, slow flushing toilets, cheap bedroom furniture. It's clear that this building (which used to be a Radisson in the 90's) needs a deeper renovation, including the unappealing brown-glass facade. All of that said, for less than $150 a night I think these things can be overlooked at.
There was a room on my food that was smoking marijuana and it filled the whole floor with the offensive smell . In addition , the hotel staff was not very responsive or accommodating to house guest when told about the situation
It is very well located. Room service closed at midnight and in the room there is not minibar available
Loved the hospitality and the luxury N/a
Nice stay. No complaints! I think English should be the number one language in the USA. Most of your employees I dealt with obviously spoke English only as a seond language.
The bedroom N/A
Everything! The staff was excellent and accommodating when necessary...excellent place for business travelers and to relax. Not applicable.
Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Overpriced
We got a room with broken heater, very bad experience.
Very clean, the employees very nice The breakfast was terrible and expensive, no hotcakes available on saturday
The staff was being really helpful. They charge for parking, despite the location wasn't any close to downtown.
Staff was wonderful. Too short of a visit!
The staff was well-trained, resposive, and vocally sorry about the situation that all the guests were facing, and even apologized for the weather. The staff went out of their way to try to make up for everything that was wrong. Simply put: the resort should not be open until they have finished the renovations. It's like staying in a Motel 6 at a 24hr construction site, but with superb staff and quite good food. There is limited accessibility by foot to any part of the resort. Walking anywhere requires traversing expansive muddy gravel areas, balancing on tippy plywood ramps where no curbs exist, stepping over hoses, electrical cords, and around huge generators, and going as quuickly as possible by what can only be an open sewer pipe near the new pool construction. There is one, possily two, restaurants open that have the same menu as room service. A salad, entree, and glass of wine came to $70. Other non-resort restaurants are accessiblie only by cab (I might have been able to walk if not for the puring rain). If you choose not to gamnble on walking, you must call ahead for a golf-cart transport, which will arrive in 10-15 mins and take you to your destination. A tip is expected by the driver. During my stay, it rained constantly so I never was able to see a vista, the golf course, or anything resembling the images on the resort's website. The pathways that were usable were puddled with water and one had a recurring area of sudsy liquid on it...? Again, they should not be open, but if they choose to be, they should NOT be charging full price for guest rooms. I was staying in a supposedly-renovated bungalow, but the elevator clearly was in recent use by constructoin workers, there were several muddy boot prints in my bathtub upon arrival., the sliding door to the patio did not fully lock, and the sliding closet doors were not functional because of the position of the room safe in the closet. 'Nuff said.
The premisses of the apartment itsel are very good, the view is great as well as the location. The cleaningness was below poor adn the request to perform minimum arrangements were deceively avoided. A quick cleaning service was promissed twice and never performed, I was even tried to lie about it having been made. A delivery of a package was denied at recpetion causing severe problems regardless of such being advised 3 times in advance. There no reception or services available, not even at a minimum level.
The location was great The bed in the first room we stayed in was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. There was also no alarm clock and we had an early morning trip scheduled the next day. The 2nd room we slept in had a severe mold problem on the wood floor in the bathroom. The smell was terrible and the room was so toxic we had to keep the patio door open all the time.
It was amazing to live on the 39th floor and see the ocean from behind the skyscrapers. The hotel is located in a condo building right in the middle of the downtown, across the bay from Mandarin Oriental. It means that it is far from beaches, restaurants and nightlife. Our studio was extremely worn down: a very noisy air conditioner, stains of mould in the bathroom, leaking taps - a sorry sight in general. We only stayed one night and paid 79$ for it, so it was ok in the final reckoning.
reasonable, good location & great pools
The place was nice, big, pretty clean and the balcony was huge and had a great view. Would stay again for the price and location. It was pretty close to Bicentennial Park. There was no room service and had a hard time getting in contact with the repesenitives so if I needed anything there was no way of getting it from them. The parking garage was horrible cuz it took a very long time to get down the nerrow bends at every coner. The higher you were the longer it took to get down to the first floor by car.
Very nice, kind, lovely, respectful and good manager, Mr Alfredo ... He is the best.
The pool area. Did not respect the details of our booking. Had to show the booking because they were not accepting us.
comprehensive furniture and appliance. The floor wasn't clean enough.
it's in the center of Brickel, you can move anywhere not necessarily by car, you can walk, very close to restaurants. no cleaning service and parking expensive.
Staff ready to help me any time and very polite, very clean and beautiful view this is personal but the room in 38th floor very scary for me
Good location. I think I could have stayed in a better hotel for the price.
I loved it. No
While not being right in the centre of Prague it was close enough for you to get there easliy. Comfortable place. Everything was ok. Maybe more staff who understand English better! that's all
I went to Miami for some shopping, therefore I liked the location, near from the Dolphin mall, Mall of the Americas, Home Depot, Walmart and the International mall, also it is 1 block fom the Mercantil Commerce Bank at Doral, easy access from-to the Palmetto expressway.Rooms very clean, no complains.Although the hotel is located near the airport, it was a very quiet place to stay. I reallly enjoyed it and recommend it.
Hotel room had a good size... It needs to be renovated. No breakfast...
Great location, area felt very safe, helpful staff and very good to have kitchenette in room. I would advise anyone who doesn't smoke to ask for a non-smoking room. We didn't realise so the room did smell, but we didn't bother moving as we liked the view over the park. A couple of scented candles did the trick!
Location is excellent. Hotel is located walking distance from great restaurants and shopping. Located in the heart of Brickell. We checked in on Thursday for a special birthday "stay-cation". I was under the impression that this was a five star facility, but the room we were placed in and the service we received was far from five star quality. Within hours of our check in, the bathroom sink clogged up. My husband and i went to dinner and asked for maintenance to come to our room while we were gone. When we returned, it appeared that someone had come to fix it. However, within 30 minutes, the sink was clogged up again. We called the front desk and at 11:15 p.m. two maintenance men came into our room with a shot-vac to attempt to fix the problem. A shot-vac. At this point, the proper thing to do would have been for the hotel to offer to switch our rooms. Instead, we bore the sound of the vacuum and the maintenance crew for about 15 minutes. When one of the maintenance men was done, he said he would be back up in 30 minutes to see if it was fixed. It was almost 11:30 p.m. at this point! My husband told him not to bother returning. Not shockingly, in the morning the sink was still not working and now the toilet was backing up. I was appalled and embarrassed that I had booked this hotel for my husband's birthday. I went to the front desk to check out and aired my grievances. I spoke to a supervisor/manager that was there. He offered us a free breakfast that I said we would accept but then the manager took it back and said, "Well, actually it's past breakfast time." He offered to give us drinks at the bar instead. I could not have walked out fast enough. I was SO disappointed with this experience and spent the rest of the weekend trying to make it up to my husband (who has been ever-patient)!
Really nice hotel with good location and amenities. Got a great deal. Some areas of the hotel are looking old and may need to be revamped.
The construction of the shower lead to water pooling up at the shower door and seeping out into the bathroom.
The service was amazing. Everyone from the front desk to the valet to the gift shop clerk were all about service. N/a
rooms were nice, comfortable, location was good for what we were doing Found what appeared to be a pubic hair in our room service food. We did not eat the food and would not eat in the restaurant. We both stepped on glass shards while sitting at the pool. We brought it to the attention of the spa staff who shrugged it off..
Older hotel that has been updated. Very multicultural which we enjoyed. Great location close to Miami Airport. Elevator did not have air conditioning, but that is very minor.
The rooms were pretty cleaned for the most part. The cleaning crew did a good job. The stairs going up to our room are very old. It seemed as if they were going to break. The breakfast was another thing my family and I did not enjoy. Everything did not seem fresh except for the apples. The bread and cereal tasted old.
THE PLACE IS NICE. I HVE STAYED THERE MANY TIMES OVER THE LAST 25 YEARS. THE RATES ARE QUITE REASONABLE THE BATH ROOMS NEED ATTENTION. BATH TUBS SHOULD HAVE HAND RAILS INSTALLED AND NON SLIP RUBBER MATS PROVIDED FOR CHILDREN AND ELDERLY. ALSO THE BREAKFAST NEEDS TO BE MORE ORGANIZED. IT WAS A FREE FOR ALL AND TOO MUCH CONGESTION AND TOO MUCH GRABBING AND TOO MANY TAKING BREAKFAST OUT JUST FOR GREED OR FOR SOME OUTSIDER OR VISITOR.
It was clean The people drinking outside
Didn't like very much The hotel was clean but very run down and in a pretty rough location.
Location! Loved how close I was to everything I wanted to see and experience. I didn't appreciate the size of the bathrooms especially the toilet area. I did not appreciate the fact that there is no parking or even a discount through the hotel. The decor can use an upgrade.
Such a great location and a nice looking botique hotel. But everything is ruined when the house keeping staff wakes up guests at 8 am by chattering to each other loudly in the halls waking me up 3 times before 9am. I'm the guest so your staffs behavior should not impact my experience. Yes you are a botique hotel so you should scale your service accordingly and know your staffs conversations carry through the entire floor. Don't stay here!!!!
Location was good as it's close to everything South Beach has to offer but that's about it. The hotel rooms are extremely small and cramped and they tried too hard to make it look trendy and there is no full wall or glass between the room and the bathroom so not only can you see the person in the bathroom using the toilet but you can also hear every air biscuit they let out, every wipe and smell it. I mean cmon, first you have tiny rooms that I would expect in a 3 star hotel in NYC but how can you put people in those tiny rooms and leave a completely open bathroom with no walls or privacy... smh. The service was also rough, I think the girl who checked us in said her computer crashed 4 times and we had to spend about 25 minutes checking in which should have taken about 5 minutes. The checking stations had older laptops, they got this whole hotel completely wrong and I would never go back.
Location, cleanliness, interior design, customer service and price.
This is an over priced hotel and all the hotel saff were rude and not welcoming . I won't be spending my money at this hotel again.
I had a lot of charges on my card and I don't know why. I didn't remove anything from mini bar. I'm still waiting on a follow up call from billing.
The pool is closed very early
Food prices in the restaurants inside were too expensive.
Pool and spa nicely designed Got there and found there were nerds and lipstick on the carpet as well as a big wet mark. I called front desk to see if the room had been cleaned and they said they didn't known but they could connect me to house keeping to see if I could get someone to come clean it. I said "can't you do that" she just said would u like me to give you house keeping number or not. Then on Kayak it soecifically says on some options "no breakfast w this deal" so I picked the higher price option bc it did not say that. I get to hotel and they tell me Breakfast is not included. Then I try to go to spa and they charge me more money even after I showed them My Kayak reservstion says spa included. Later that night I come back to the room to find it was never cleaned. I wouldn't even have complained about any of this had I not paid over $400 for the one night I stayed here.
The absolute best hotel. Everything was perfect
We were placed in the tower which mostly was dedicated to business men, besides that our floor was full of young people who came to that place just to have fun for a few days. They were disrespectfully loud all day long. The rooms are tiny, I was hoping to have a jacuzzi tab but it was only a shower cab. The walk to the swimming pool was through two towers and people who always were dresses for different conferences. Prices for food are really expensive and it didn't worth spending on it. I would not recommend this hotel for family oriented people, it is mostly for party people and businessmen. See above
Amazing hotel. A little bit of a struggle to get a pool chair in the morning, but the room and views were spectacular A little far from all the excitement in south beach
The property is amazing! The pools are great - got a little crowded on the long weekend - but very enjoyable. We had an oceanfront room and the views were breathtaking. The beach access was really good and you got free beach chairs. Its a little away from south beach and all the shops and restaurants - but we knew that going in. Room service was not up to par - they routinely forgot to replenish our coffee/ sugar. The food was just OK - and the price for food and drinks was exorbitant. Valet only parking and it was $45 per day!!
Stayed in the Chateau tower which was better than Versailles. It's a bit north of South Beach but not too bad.
Location, room ,restorants, everything Fees for beech furniture rent
Beautiful hotel great night life Overpriced
I liked the price, the location close to the beach, and the kitchen facilities the noise from the construnction across the street
Amazing location in the heart of South Beach Maybe there could have been some essentials provided as shops hard to find for food etc
The staff was very friendly and nice. Wireless internet. Location is perfect. The hotel needs much more improvement, rooms are pretty run down. It is very very noisy. But staff was nice and helpful.
The weather in Miami:-)
Practicality, functionality, good location, familiar, comfortable and spacious. Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive, we did two more reserves. One suggestion we make is to improve the quality of the mattress. Could be better.
Very clear, convenient and spacious habitat approximately 300 m from metro station (Metromover) 10 minutes from downtown. The kitchen equipment is very good (but I am a man).
the room was really big with all the services provided, big tv, washing machine, drier, and also very clean. The room provided had a better view because we used booking.com (thanks booking!). There is a publix just one block away, a gas station an a walgreens (pharmacy). As we went with our baby, having a publix nearby was really helpful. internet wasnt working properly (just to say something), but we didnt complain with the staff about it, because we didnt care too much (i think it was because we where in the 7floor)
It was basically a one bedroom apartment with a huge bedroom. It was a beautiful room and I'd definitely recommend it and I'd definitely visit again. A dvd player would have been the cherry on top. There was no Iron in the supply closet. Other than this, I had all the comforts of home and then some.
it's an appartement, you are on your own, you have all brand new applicances to cook and a supermarket at a 5 min walk. The Metromover 5 min walk aswell Hard to find
