Not impressed

The location was good. They had granite and lg appliances.

The hotel is split in what I would call two different buildings maybe 3?. There is another business in between. So to get to where you check out and the pool is in a diffeenrt building. This being because my room was in the other building. The rooms are decent. Very cheap. The bed was on what looked like ply wood. The air unit had a dirty filter and mold. It's hard not to look at being its seen while in the shower. There were 3 different colors of light bulbs in the room. Hope you get a high room we were on 5th level in the other building and imthe noise was fine but one floor down and it bounces off the other buildings and is quite loud know this from another family member staying on the 4th floor. Does not have that comfy welcoming feel of being on vacation when you come in the lobby. There is also no bathroom in the lobby or any welcoming refreshment that most hotels seem to have now a days. I was also with and older couple in there 60s that stayed in another room and they had very so similar feelings. Great for the location of the beach but will not go out of my way to stay there again

Noisy beyond acceptable

location was excellent except for the noise echoing through the alleyways on both sides of the building!!! The staff was friendly in the hotel and the restaurant and the food (didn't try the mexican) was good....not great, but good. The view from the rooftop pool was beautiful

Unless I don't want ANY sleep, I can never stay here again. It's too bad, but the drunks screaming until 4 a.m. echo in the alleyways and then the rubbish trucks come along and keep you awake and lastly, some "clown" was going up and down the street yelling "Good Morning, Miami" @ 6 a.m. I was so glad I only had reserved one night.....it ruined my entire next day because I was exhausted from no sleep and I didn't go out to the bars.

Location on South Beach and price was very affodable

The room was very cold 62 degrees and the front desk explained it was unseasonable cool and the rooms did not have heaters.

Room size,vicinity to beach

Some front desk staff very friendly,others not at all.. Housekeeping turned on the dishwasher every day,just to wash our 2 coffecups.Thats expensive for the Hotel and not enviromentally friendly.

I like the location.

exellent location in the heart of Miami Beach, lots of restaurants and bars around, beach just opposite the road

valet parking quite pricy at 35$ (other hotels in Miami Beach charge 15-25$), very noisy aeration/climatisation fixed on the outside facade right next to our window, long discussion with the receptionist who insisted on charging us beverages from the minibar although we didn't touch it...

The rooms were set up nicely and the beds were very comfortable.

-Pool was very small to accomodate four buildings worth of guests, the pool was cleaned only once a day and this goes for the common area as well, food containers, cups, cigarette butts, truly disgusting. -The concierge service was definitely not up to parr. We had to inquire about what type of tours were offered as opposed to the information being suggested nor did we see any flyers out. -Front desk service was terrible. Each time we called requesting something (ice, towels) we would have to call two times at least. None of our rooms were ready when we arrived and we had to continue calling to see when they would become available. At the time of checkout, no one had the patience to explain the charges to me.

Beachfront location and our balcony room

On check in we were not allocated the correct room as in our "room description" as we had no balcony.A Correct room was not available. Excuse given as an unexpected overstay of previous guest. 50 dollars was removed from the bill for the first night. A balcony room was provided for the next 2 nights which we liked a lot more but, it was not a Junior Suite as in the room description as it was just one open plan room. The staff were helpful but our first night was a complete disappointment and stressful and spoiled our overall experience somewhat. Worthy of note is the fact that you can only park your hire car at various meter parking locations at 1.25 per hr, 9am to midnight ! Or Valet parking at the hotel at 35 dollars a day !!
