Плюсы: I’ve stayed there many times and it’s always a pleasure. The location is perfect, by the station so you can get anywhere so quickly. The building is gorgeous with so many common spaces to unwind and chill out. It’s a good place to meet new people. I’ve been traveling around Europe over the last two years and Palmers is the cleanest hostel I’ve stayed. The staff is a plus as well. Always nice and helpful guys.

Плюсы: Beds were clean, bathroom was clean, overall look of bistro was very nice

Минусы: Wish there had been a bottom sheet on the bed

Плюсы: Privacy curtains round bunk are great. Bunks are solid and don't move. Cheap price, great location near tube, pretty quiet at night even tho it's a hostel in London.

Минусы: There was a heatwave and no air con meant room was very hot. There was a fan but it didn't do much and was noisy. But it's rare that the weather gets so hot so it wouldn't put me off staying again.

Плюсы: Хостел расположен в тихом, симпатичном районе, до центра 20 минут на метро (2 зона). Я выбрала номер для женщин на 12 человек. В номере своя ванная комната (2 туалета, 2 душа). У кроватей своя розетка, лампа, usb. Хочу отметить, что было очень чисто, не смотря на высокую загрузку. Есть свой бар, завтрак неплох на 6 фунтов (без горячего). В шаговой доступности от хостела магазины и кафе. Ресепшн адекватный, ребята готовы помочь. Есть багажная комната.

Минусы: Номер был расположен на первом (цокальном) этаже, окна выходят на бар. В баре вечерами очень шумно. Для тех, кто рано ложится, лучше выбирать номера повыше. 12 человек в номере многовато. Если есть возможность, берите номера на меньшее количество человек. Не совсем понятная история с постельным бельем. Простынь, она же одеяло, конвертиком сделана, матрас очень скользкий, сползает. Утром всегда просыпалась со скомканной простыней.

Плюсы: Gorgeous building, awesome stuff

Минусы: Small wc and shower

Плюсы: Достаточно приятно Расположен в хорошем районе Лучший хостел

Плюсы: Отличное месторасположение. До метро 3 минуты пешком, рядом супермаркет Tesco. Очень интересный хостел.

Минусы: Не было розеток/разъемов usb (верхняя кровать).

Плюсы: quite surprised with the organisation and safety at the bedrooms and cleanliness at the wcs, very easy to use, very neat. The house is beautiful, the ambiance very agreable and quite cosmopolitan! Will return and reccomend for sure

Плюсы: Lovely staff, super nice building, good breakfast, curtains for extra privacy and lights above your own bed. Close to the tube station, ideal.

Минусы: The mattresses were a bit thin.

Минусы: Bed assignment, guests' manner was quite awful.

Плюсы: Nice staff that are very friendly and helpful with tips on London! Extra showers and toilets outside rooms are very helpful when people are using the ones in your room!

Минусы: Not having WiFi in rooms is a bit of a pain.

Плюсы: It was great, nice room and bathroom (I got room for 4), big kitchen, very nice staff

Минусы: I would just like in kitchen to offer some free things like tea or sugar, paid breakfast could improve their coffee (too watery) and add cheese at least, for these two reasons I didn´t buy it after first day, but they advise you to look first and pay if you like so it is not like you don´t know what are you paying for Like it was said here before, windows can´t be opened and in warm weather it would make dificult to sleep there, fans will not help much.

Плюсы: I was impressed that the hostel had facilities in place to make it accessible to people with physical disabilities The location is very convenient and close to underground, and bus station. Also the hostel is cleaned everyday. The internet is strong and only in the common areas which was nice to see lots of people and socialize I stayed at the time where the hot water heater had problems and the hostel refunded 50% of the cost, I liked their effort

Минусы: Majority of the staff are helpful and friendly but there is an area for improvement. For example one male staff of indian decent usually didn’t like to help find solution for any problem and put blame on guest or just avoid responsibility.

Плюсы: Прекрасное местоположение, всюду ходила пешком. Отличный сервис за эти деньги. В номерах и санузлах всегда чисто и приятно. Персоналл супер позитивынй , отзывчивый и доброжелательный. Они учли мое пожелание при бронировании, я просила нижнюю кровать. Еще мне повезло с видом из окна. Просыпаешься и видишь башню, на которой тебе пишут "Good morning, London!", это ли не прекрасно :) Всем рекомендую! Лучше в центре Лондона не найти. Благодарю всех!

Минусы: Все прекрасно!

Плюсы: Новое здание, в отличие от хостела той же сети около собора Св. Павла. Комфортно было жить 9 дней, при наличии супероснащенной кухни. Спасибо Jon, что починил мне гудящую лампу около кровати ( другим администраторам оставляла заявку, ничего не сделали). В целом приятная атмосфера.

Минусы: Но... приготовьтесь : пользоваться вай-фай только на рецепции/ ударяться головой об металлическую полку при умывании или мыть правую половину лица, потом левую ( не шучу)/ перепрыгивать через лужи воды, из душевой,около двери вашего номера/ некомпетентности некоторых сотрудников- сказали что работает метро в три ночи ( пятница)..., благо обратилась к другим вовремя / в хостеле проживают с маленькими детьми, которые могут оказаться у вас за стеной/ целую неделю не мыли в номере пол, только выбрасывали мусор и меняли постель тех, кто съехал

Плюсы: Will always stay here whenever they have availability. The best hostel I have stayed so far in London.

Плюсы: Welcoming and clean and great location

Минусы: Problem with the boiler so not hot water but staff offered a discount and an alternative venue to shower etc

Плюсы: Location is easy access to the central London. I stayed in 4 pax's room and it excessed my expectations

Плюсы: Nice staff, they refilled soap upon request once we realized it was empty. Overall status of our 6 bed room was OK, could be a bit cleaner and tidy. We could leave luggage before checking in and after checking out in the dedicated room which also has lockers. I'd definitely recommend for low budget families and backpackers. There's Tesco Express and Sainsbury nearby. The bedroom was adapted for wheelchair in case of need. Solid bunk beds that don't shake when someone moved.

Минусы: Not enough warm water on the 1st night for the 6 of us. Wi-Fi in bedrooms is not intended to be available (only in common areas like reception and kitchen). Bathroom was a bit smelly and sink tiny.

Плюсы: the kitchen is spacy with enough utensils that you can easily cook and staffs clean the kitchen everyday.The bed is comfortable with clean bedsheet. The location is very central.

Минусы: The bathroom within the room do not have hot water.

Плюсы: Great has lace to stay. The staff are excellent. Always courteous and doing their best to keep the place tidy.

Плюсы: Very clean, well organised, great beds with privacy curtains, personnel very friendly and helpful.

Минусы: Only if it was a bit closer to center

Плюсы: The hostel is close to the underground station in Zone 1, so it's easy and cheap to move around the city center. The hostel has wifi-coverage everywhere in the building.

Минусы: The place has 1 shower for 3-5 rooms, which accomodate at least 12-20 people. The showers are always dirty: water on the floor, because there are now drains in it, toilet paper floating in the water, and dirty toilet seats. In addition to that, if there is a young and impatient visitor, he's gonna bang on the shower's door and shout at you, as it happened with me, because there is just one shower. And my shower had 2 rather large spiders living in it (not kidding!). The 4-bed room I stayed in had a cracked window and dirty walls. The beds are uncomfortable for your back, because the hostel uses thick sport mats with rubber cover instead of mattresses. And these mats are also very loud, so you hear them every time somebody changes his/her posture in bed. The curtains that covered my bed space were stained. The bed was a bit short for me, a 173 cm person. The bar inside the hostel didn't have some food/wine from its menu on 2 occasions. You can't get a towel for free or rent it, only buy for 5.50 pounds. You can't leave your suitcase in the locker room without paying for the locker, even if you agree not to put it in the locker and just leave in the room unattended.

Минусы: Broken lifts and the new non refundable lockers.

Плюсы: Staff were very helpful, beds were comfortable most of all great value for money would definitely stay again. As an older lady I felt very at ease. The staff ensured that my son, who arrived a day later, was allocated a bed in the same dorm..great service everyone

Минусы: It was a bit warm but nothing unbearable

Минусы: Why cant they have a microwave and a fridge. I know there is a restaurant and pub which need business but a fridge and a microwave will definitely increase my respect for them for several inches. Everyone I talked to complained about this.

Минусы: I was there for 3 nights and on two of them, I had to wait more than an hour for a bed (which was already booked). The bathroom inside the room is not very clean and there is no ventilation, so the smell is very bad.

Плюсы: Большие кровати,есть шторки, достаточно чисто( лучше доплатить (разница мелочь) и брать комнату с душем и туалетом), автобусные остановки и метро рядом, фен можно взять, в принципе это очень дёшево для Лондона, 1000 за ночь, до центра 1час)

Минусы: Нет розетки к каждой кровати,кому как повезёт,самое большое разочарование- нет кухни ( брала утром кипяток не завтраках), если оставляешь багаж нужно отдать 1£

Минусы: Без лифта нужно было с багажом на третий забираться. В душе нет возможности за собой вытереть пол, очередному гостю сложно и неприятно по лужам ходить...

Плюсы: As I've said in other reviews I stay here a lot and highly recommend it . Staff are really helpful and the place is very clean.

Плюсы: BREAKFAST HAD A HOSTEL FEEL.

Плюсы: Невысокая стоимость, не очень далеко от метро (примерно 8-10 мин пешком), входит завтрак в стоимость.

Минусы: Непонятная локация, по адресу, указанному на букинге номер дома 233 - по этому адресу расположен жилой дом. Хостел же находится чуть ранее, примерно через 3-4 дома. Не сразу нашел.

Плюсы: Nice facilities, close to the station, lovely bar

Минусы: The place is way too noisy. The room I was put in was tiny for 4 people, there was no sanitary bin provided in the ensuite bathroom and the shared bathroom besides the room had a hand drier the same wall as my bed was. Massive green light above the door signaling the exit in case of fire and leaving the room bright green for the whole night. I barely slept and having a tough day at work as a result.

Плюсы: Definitely one of my favourite place to stay. The facilities are good. Clean, safe and comfortable place to stay.

Минусы: Location being far from center and tubes.

Плюсы: I booked this at the last minute and was only going to be in London overnight. Hostel's have certainly changed from the old youth hostel days. An interesting and friendly place which I fully intend visiting again. Not the place for business trips I know, but great value and worth staying at. Good breakfast included as well. What more could you ask for £20.

Минусы: I honestly couldn't find fault, even if I tried.

Плюсы: Чистота везде: в комнате, в санузле, на кухне. На блоке много душевых. Комфортные кровати, хорошие матрасы. Большой плюс, что есть лёгкий завтрак: тосты, масло, злаки с молоком, круассан, джемы, яблоки. Во время завтрака бесплатный кофе и сок. Целый день есть бесплатный доступ к горячей воде и чаю.

Минусы: Минус, что совместный туалет для мужчин и женщин. Рядом три туалета с видимостью ног))) Чувствуешь себя некомфортно, когда парень умывается, а ты (девушка) в туалете за пвх дверью))) А также не понравилось отсутствие пододеяльника. Формат такой: на одной половине простыни спишь, а укрываешься второй половиной и сверху ещё одеяло. Нужны пододеяльники, потому что с ними гигиенично!!!

Плюсы: Великолепное расположение,чистота,вай фай нормально работает.

Минусы: Снизу бар,люди орут спать мешают.Если окна закрыты в комнатах очень душно,одеяла дают ужасные очень тёплые под ними потеешь сильно! Вторую ночь совсем не мог уснуть,вернулся бы я туда,маленькая вероятность.Моя общая оценка где то 7 из 10.

Плюсы: The hostel is located very close to Waterloo train station which makes it possible explore the important places of London on foot. Rooms and bathroom were very clear.

Плюсы: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the hostel was modern and clean, just like the pub downstairs. The breakfast which was added on in the morning was delicious. Can not get any better than that for the price

Минусы: Nothing negative to say.

Плюсы: Чистые душевые. Чистые комнаты. Можно бесплатно оставить вещи до поезда. Приятные скидки на еду и напитки в пабе под хостелом. Розетки возле кровати.

Минусы: Шкафчики бесплатные, но замков к ним нет. Стоит £4. Полотенце £5. Окна нормально не открываются, вентиляторов нет. В жару предложено пуховое одеяло. В душевых нет отдельно раковин - нужно заходить в туалет.

Плюсы: Location, vibe and cleanliness (private room).

Минусы: Noisy, I recommend earplugs!

Плюсы: Everything was amazing! Staff, facilities & location were beyond the norm! Highly recommend it all!

Плюсы: Everything, the food, the drinks. All the guests are really cool. And all employees are hard working and nice.

Плюсы: Everyone was extremely friendly! The discounts are very good if you stay there, and everything is relatively clean, especially considering the price. If you are looking for a hostel that is well connected this is great, 5 minutes from the tube and 1 minute from multiple bus routes.
