Минусы: Staff was so rude. The first person that checked us in around 11 said to come back 2/2:30 and our room should be ready. We came back at 2:53 and the lady at the front desk said “check in is at 3. You can wait in the lobby until 3” without event checking if our room was available. In addition, we had indicated in our reservation that our flight got in early and the hotel responded that they would try to accommodate us. So much for trying.

Минусы: Staff in general needs more hospitality training, especially front-desk (too many juniors). No pro-active / smiling attitude in general, no friendly chats. Bar / bar area is heavily under utilised and could be made into a nice area to hang out. I always like cozy bar areas in hotels, with good atmosphere, friendly lighting and some background music (good for booze sales as well!) - but this was missing unfortunately. 2 exceptions, bar staff Jezus and Simina were wonderful and do understand the importance of making your guests feel welcome. Breakfast - food selection is fine (full english always nice) - but personally I find a good coffee (cappuccino / espresso) very important and this is sorely missed. Simply invest in a good, self-service coffee machine and I'm sure the guests will give top marks for breakfast. Beds slightly too firm for my liking - but this is personal preference.

Минусы: The bed was a bit small and the mattress was ok... we found the room quite stuffy, with a sound of an extractor fan outside with the window open. There was a fan available though. The shower in the bathroom is pretty weak and the corridors going up to the rooms are pretty grotty.

Минусы: It was boiling in the room as we were over the pub kitchen which had the constant noise of a generator. The cold tap didnt work in the shower only boiling hot water was available. There was constant noise of people and music until 2am.

Плюсы: Hotel was totally different to anywhere I had stayed before. I just loved every minute of my stay. Staff were exceptional. The quirky communal lounge with Honesty bar beautiful. Cleanliness excellent. Complimentary water, chocolate, hot sauce and L"OCCITANE products in room. Bathroom exquisite Breakfast more than worth the money - exceptional quality. Church Street Hotel really should have higher star rating in my opinion Location also great for travel into central London. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.

Разговаривают на нескольких языках, в том числе итальянский и испанский, что (конкретно - итальянский) мне очень помогло. В отеле очень уютно (здание ~19го века, с историей), чисто и аккуратно, есть общая комната-гостинная-бар для гостей отеля, чай, кофе бесплатно в любое время суток. При заселении дали карту проезда на общественном транспорте от гостиницы до центра и до метро, а также карту лондонского метро, это помогло сэкономить время и деньги. Уезжала из Лондона поздно вечером, чемодан оставили до отъезда без вопросов. Район по лондонском меркам не очень престижный, но на автобусе довольно быстро можно добраться до основных туристических мест.

Минусы: Завтрак скудный . Пр заселении сказали , что он включен в стоимость , а при расчете сказали , что надо за него заплатить . Мы не каждый день " завтракали " 2 дня просто брали кофе в номер . И это стоило 7 фунтов умножить на 2 (((-; При выселении мы за завтрак заплатили . Через пару часов с карты сняли еще 50 фунтов не понятно за что . В Общем не приятные ощущения от проживания . Район не удобный для путешествия и не безопасный . Дверь в отель всегда закрыта , надо звонить и ждать чтобы ее открыли . Иногда ждали более 5 минут , пока кто то придет и откроет . Выбрали этот отель , потому что дочь учится в университете по близости . Не рекомендую .

Минусы: Though i love the design of the place and the free tea and coffee and chocolates and chilli jam a really nice touch it is ultimately about a good nights sleep and sadly the bed i had was terrible (thin mattress, squeaky springs) and next to a shared loo i was told was only for my room and one other and yet during the night it must have been used 6-8 times loudly and again numerous times in the morning, The loud fan for the bathroom was left off as if the light is it stays on. The doors all seem to bang loudly which again makes it very hard to sleep for any period at all. Little changes could greatly fix all this (better mattress and bed, auto switch off for the fan, door catches to minimise slamming shut and signage to limit who uses the shared bathrooms. It's a lovely themed place , nice staff, good location and lovely extras but if you're awake most of the night it's hard for that to matter much.

The location was great for us as we were travelling from Victoria station the next morning, which is 5 minutes walk away. The room was small and the mattress very soft, but it was fine for an overnight. The lady who runs the place is delightful.

Had we only realized before we started our venture that this room was big compared to the rest in the UK! The morning breakfast was a huge hit delivered to our room. Плюсы: We were put in a room that was “allegedly “ the best room in the hotel but if the picture s reflect the hotel it was far from the best room . It was at the bottom of the hotel and was very difficult to get our suitcases etc... up and down it was so narrow there was no handrail to hold onto to get downstairs which was very worrying especially for my older mother. Would never go back and wouldn’t recommend it. Very unhappy with the room.

Had we only realized before we started our venture that this room was big compared to the rest in the UK! The morning breakfast was a huge hit delivered to our room. The continental one had plenty of food.

Плюсы: We were put in a room that was “allegedly “ the best room in the hotel but if the picture s reflect the hotel it was far from the best room . It was at the bottom of the hotel and was very difficult to get our suitcases etc... up and down it was so narrow there was no handrail to hold onto to get downstairs which was very worrying especially for my older mother. Would never go back and wouldn’t recommend it. Very unhappy with the room.

Минусы: I can't believe that this hotel is rated as 5 star. The room was the size of a closet, there were holes in the walls (I took pictures), the mattress was so soft it made my back hurt, and the blanket barely covered the top of the bed. When I asked for an extra blanket at 4pm because of this, I was told housekeeping was already gone, so we should just cuddle together, but she'd have one sent up in the morning. Which of course never happened. That sounds not even 3 star to me. They also don't have ice available, fyi. Overall it was the worst stay I've had through booking.com. And one of the most expensive at that.

Плюсы: Приветливый и доброжелательный персонал, все объяснили,рассказали,дали карту проезда. Наш номер находился на первом этаже соседнего здания,окно выходило на довольно оживленную улицу. На окне рулонные шторы, в связи с этим в номере довольно темно,тк шторы высоко не поднять,тк с улицы все будет видно. И окно широко не открыть, опять же потому что с улицы будет видно все,что происходит в номере. Поэтому в номере довольно душно, кондиционера нет. Сам номер ооочень маленький. на весь номер стоит широченная кровать,кстати очень удобная, небольшой шкаф на пару вешалок и узенький стол в виде полочки с маленьким чайником, чашками и ложками, чаем,растворимым кофе,сахаром,сливками и 2 печеньками. Чемоданы можно оставить только у входной двери,что бы более-менее спокойно передвигаться по номеру,но когда надо будет выходить из номера их придется перетаскивать в сторону. Ванная комната так же маленькая,но все необходимое есть. В душевой кабине тропический душ, и его положение не поменять,т.е. если вы не хотите мочить волосы придется извернуться:) Рядом макдак и маленькие магазинчики,купить воду можно без проблем. Так же рядом остановки автобуса и метро минутах в 10-15 ходьбы. На одну ночь вполне нормальный вариант,но не более.

Минусы: The room was Hot with no A/C. The shower was clogged for two days. I reported the first day the front desk person informed me that the maintenance person had already left and will get it fixed the next day. Nobody showed up till 2 Pm t and ill till I went back to inform again. Again I had to tell them that I had to take a shower in a clogged shower, and my ankles developed a rash with standing water. I requested the manager to give me a fifty percent refund, and he refused to do it. The carpet was dirty with spots, and when I opened the windows, people were smoking weed, and all the smell was coming in my room. In other words, the room was not as described with a very uncooperative manager — Will Talk to my credit card company for a refund.

Минусы: When I booked a number of weeks ago I asked for a QUIET single room but when I arrived they put me in a basement room next to the main street. When I questioned this I was told that the quiet single rooms had all been taken and were not available. I feel that as a single woman travelling alone I do not get the service I should get and for which I am paying for. I feel I am dismissed in some circumstances.

The comfort is acceptable, the first day the lift was not working but there was someone to help us carry the heavy suitcase up to the fourth floor and for the night and the next day we just needed to take 76 stairs as part of our keeping fit. The breakfast is again acceptable, you have one kind of ham and cheese, various kinds of cereal, fruit, joghurt, jam, honey, nuttella, toast bread and rolls, some croissants, good coffee, tea. You can ask for three kinds of omlette and an English brekafast: piece of bacon (?), sausage, some beans, half of fried tomato, two fried eggs, three pieces of mushrooms. Still, with my experience, the bigger and more tourist/business city the lower quality for a bigger price, so I do not complain. I really liked the proximity to three metro lines just 5 minute walking distance. In generall the stay was very nice. You can borrow the adapter in the reception!

Минусы: Я выбирала данный отель из за 4 звёзд, но он не тянет даже на две звёзды! Семейный номер находился в цоколе. В номере отсутствует холодильник. Единственное что порадовало это наличие санузла и если быть справедливым, чистота в номере. В остальном , очень среднего уровня отель, явно не соответствующий 4 звёздам! Тусклое освещение, неприятный запах. К счастью мы остановились только на ночь. И были рады уехать утром. Не советую, если планируете остановиться на несколько дней.

Минусы: The showers the American style with a shower cap fixed on the wall. This makes it almost impossible to take a shower without making your hair wet and I can imagine that it is impossible to have them properly cleaned. The rooms for two are really tiny, but we managed. The lamp over the bed does not provide adequate light for you to read in bed.

Плюсы: The bed was very comfortable, the place was very comfortable. And to be honest, it is what you pay for and in my opinion, it is worth the price. Even with breakfast, they have provided, I wouldn't expect a Full-English Breakfast. But toast and cereal were enough to full-fill me. When our room was serviced, the room was very clean as we return to our rooms in the afternoon/evening. And the staff were great and accommodating.

Минусы: That they don't have storage for luggage, you could just leave it in front of the reception. Although, there is a camera provided, it's still not safe. Hope next time, they have a space somewhere where costumers can leave their luggage somewhere.

Минусы: The response from the host was awful. Never picked up the call, not replied to gmail and never replied to WhatsApp. The carpets over the stairs were dirty and the bathroom dint have bath mat, so always chance to slip of while coming out.

Минусы: The check-in process was absolutely madness. We arrived around 11:13 PM, and I had noted this arrival time in advance during the booking process. The owner didn't answer the phone call at all. After about 5-6 attempts, I sent a text, inquiring the way to enter the property. No response for 20 minuets what so ever until we almost finished making a new booking at the Holiday Inn just opposite the road at an expense of £90. A text message finally arrived, instructing us how to get in. I think this could have been done earlier via email or text. We've stayed with many other guest houses, and the delivery of the code for the lock-box was always done during the check-in time when the room was ready. The duvet cover and bed sheet were not clean, you can seen yellow stain on them. But the room itself is clean, so as the toilet. Generally, I think it is really value for the money.

Минусы: I had a very bad experience with the check-in process because there was no person around 08:30 pm on 8th Septemeber 2019 even though we requested for it. Besides, I reached around 08:30 pm due to my flight was delayed by 50 minutes. Ultimately, I spend 50 pounds by booking another hotel for one night stay (i.e. 8th to 9th September 2019) because there was no person to complete my check-in process. Besides, the room was not provided, which was shown in photos at the booking time. Further, one person has opened our room without informing us when we were not at the accommodation. Moreover, Toiletries Kit was not there, and they filled water in Handwash liquid bottle.

A guy on the phone gives you instructions in a very rude way. The place is horrible, full of construction material and dirty, super dirty. We found cockroaches in the room. The backyard is full of trash. And the whole place is dirty. It is super cheap but not worth it. The owner really needs some improvements before accepting guests. It is a terrible place!

Минусы: My stay in this place was the worst of my life. My first night I woke up with a few of bites on my skin. I did not pay much attention. But the second night I was sitting on the bed doing some work on the computer when I started feeling like scratching all over my body. When I payed attention I had a lot of bites thats when i realized animals walking on the bed, I immediately contacted the owner sending a message. I spend all night killing those animals.The next day I never heard from the owners. I have to say that in the morning I extended my stayed and I paid him in cash, maybe thats why he didn’t care.They didn’t care. The lady that does the cleaning in the house took some pictures of my bites on my body to send to the owner but they never contacted me. Also the sheets are dirty. If you don’t want to have a disgusting experience dont stay here.

Уборка заключалась исключительно в том, что были выброшены бумажки из ведра. Менеджер Роб - проявил просто чудеса наплевательского отношения к гостям. Из трёх заказанных номеров - мы вынуждены были просить поменять 2. В одном жутко воняло краской, которую в банках сложили прямо возле двери номера и не работал замок, но его нам так и не поменяли. и ещё один номер - малюсенькая коморка, хотя мы двухместный заказывали, его в итоге поменяли. Ответа на свои вопросы добиться практически невозможно - человек просто не отвечает ни на смс, ни на звонки, перезваниет в 5!!!!! часов утра и потом говорит - я же перезвонил, я хотел помочь, вы мне не отвечали, сами виноваты. Снимая практически хостел нечего ожидать сервис, это понятно, но за такой треш ещё и деньги платить, сильно перебор.

Минусы: It is such a DISGUSTING PLACE that I strongly recommend to possible tourists NOT TO GO TO THAT AWFUL PLACE. Believe the reviews of other guests. We had a reservation for 3 days but we only stayed for one and a half. DIRTINESS in general... The first night we had BEDBUGS in both double beds (I was very bitten) so the next morning we changed the bed linen (wich is full of spots that show the presence of bedbugs). The second night we had again NASTY BEDBUGS and a BIG TICK in one of the beds: We decided at midnight to leave that place and NEVER GO BACK. Of course, the owner never answer our complaint... UNHEALTHY PLACE. I can hardly believe that BOOKING.COM can suggest an accommodation like this. It should be deleted from the list for unhealthy.

Плюсы: Nothing if I could of given 0 I would.
Минусы: Dirty, unhygienic, filthy sheets, objects left in the hall tripping hazards, back garden full of dirty mattresses, and being attacked by the manager had to involve police. Unable to complete stay and had to fork out for somewhere else to stay avoid at all costs would not recommend The worst place I have ever stayed. Complained to booking.com and compensated £100 but told basically my own fault as I booked here without checking reviews. The place needs closing down
