The stately 1909 Federal Crest Inn Bed & Breakfast, flanked by century old magnolia trees, stands majestically at the crest of the Federal Hill Historic District. The personal touch by the hosts, Ann and Phil Ripley, makes every visitor feel special. After early morning juice and coffee, beautifully presented full, hot breakfasts are enjoyed in the mahogany-paneled dining room by the romantic fireplace. Most of the elegantly appointed guest rooms also feature gas-log fireplaces as well as private baths. One of the most unique features of the inn is the third floor theater with a full stage which was built for the original owner's children to write a give plays.
