Lovely welcome when we arrived early and were given the option to have breakfast outside (additional cost but that was ok).

We booked a double room but were given one of the dorms and although it was very clean and comfortable it was a bit weird to be in a room with 10 beds! Also worth noting, this room is on the ground floor directly by the patio, it was quiet the night we were there but might not be at other times.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome! Whilst the entrance to the auberge is a little unusual, the situation was wonderful; looked directly over the lake towards the mountains. As for the room-we were just amazed and delighted! Big enough to hold half a dozen adults, two bathrooms and IKEA modern!
