Days Inn by Wyndham New Orleans Airport

Good breakfast area with reasonable selection of continental options. Good coffee service in the lobby.

As this is right across from the airport, the hotel also rents parking spaces for air travelers. There were not enough spaces reserved for the hotel guests and parking was a nightmare that caused frustration with guests and staff alike.

I was traveling with family and friends for a vacation. We reserved this hotel because it was close to the airport and had a shuttle service to and from. I was wanting a ground floor and connecting room because I was traveling with friends. They told me they didn't have 1st floor accommodations and that I had to ne on the 3rd floor. Also couldn't give me a connecting room. One room was fair while the other room was on the do not rent list, yet they gave it to me anyway. It had no power at first but they fixed it. Then the plumbing in that room didn't work correct. These problems was resolved the next afternoon when they finally relocated us to another room. The IHOP was a disaster from the word go. We stood in line for over 10 min before they sat us. We was brought menus after another 30 min. Finally we recieved our food after another 45 min. Dinner ended up taking two and a half hours and still didn't get everything we ordered.

Low price, ease of parking near front.

Questionable seeming long term visitors, access to building not limited by key reader during 90% of stay. Shower curtain rod not secured, towel rack shifted without spackling over old mount. Severely limited outlets for charging electronics.

Please don't stay here I got bug bites

It was the most awful is experience ever. My boyfriend and I both got bug bites all over their bodies. The shuttle driver try to sell as drugs. Another shuttle driver was completely rude to us. For really no reason the hotel offers it for free to take us back and forth from the Airport. We stayed for horrible 4 days. The only thing I can say I like was a baby that I had air conditioning but even that was way too loud and kept me up all night
