Плюсы: Christine is a wonderful and welcoming host and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Location was central and there were lots of eating places within a 5 minute walk. Cooked breakfast was excellent.

Плюсы: We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay here - it was amazing. Allan and Janet could not have done more to make sure that we had everything we needed. The bedroom was immaculately clean and very comfortable, and the self-contained recreation room had everything you could want for a relaxing stay: snooker table, darts board, tv/video, books and games, not to mention a first-rate breakfast next day. After a long walk from Melrose, this was as welcome as an oasis in the desert. Brilliant!

The whole house reflects a bygone era and is tastefully furnished and decoration is of the period of it's past but has modern touches to make your stay comfortable. Excellent breakfast and lovely staff. A very quite location with wonderful views of the castle and river Tweed.

Минусы: It was a little rough around the edges - wall socket was loose, maybe some issue with the wallpaper. Cleaning of the room during the stay could possibly have been a little more thorough.

Минусы: Ironically the fact that it was so warm! Heating on all night and made the rooms very stuffy during the night, had to open a window as it was really uncomfortable to sleep in but really appreciated the heat coming back in from the cold!

Минусы: the room we were given was classed as a superior double room i would say it was neither off these as there was no chair to sit on the bed all but filled the room a single bed would have been more suited to the room size after my visit to the place last year i commented on the family pets at meal times nothing has changed in that respect
