Diva Residence Hotel

The setting is spectacular and the staff tries hard,,,they just couldn't speak English so didn't understand that the phone/light bulb/etc. wasn't working. I liked the setting with a beautiful view. The pool was lovely overlooking the sea...as was the terrace for breakfast.

The first room we were in had a terrible odor and a number of things didn't work: phone, lamps, etc. A/C was inadequate. We changed rooms the next night....no odor, but still a number of things that didn't work (phone again, bathroom light, etc.) The trash (from previous residents) had been stuffed in cabinets under the sink in the kitchen.. So we concluded this hotel had great potential but was so poorly managed that it could interfere with one's vacation...Oh, finally, they couldn't get their machine to work with the American Express card despite the fact that we were told they took Am Ex.
