Минусы: People had to go a long way to find space to stow their bags. No one was telling people to put small bags under their seats.

Минусы: Last minute gate changes at Heraklion meant lots of confusion & frustration plus late departure. Edinburgh airport is a joke since its recent upgrades, plane sent to wrong bay caused delays getting off then baggage handlers are slow beyond useless, seem to think they are doing everyone a big favour & will do things when it suits them. No help or information from airport staff who promptly vanished at the 1st sign of trouble. Edinburgh airport really needs to have a long hard look at itself.

Not flying with Jet2.com again

Плюсы: Crew were polite, better than on the outward flight from Paris CDG to Leeds, but seemed more interested in chatting to each other than to reassure passengers about the long delays. Once underway, the flight progressed well.

Минусы: When a 30 minute delay was announced (13.45 instead of 13.15), I was fairly philosophical. However, we didn't board until 13.45. Once settled in our seats, another 25 minutes went by when the plane did not move. No information's given. I asked a member of the cabin crew what was going on who said she didn't know anything. I then heard her ask (presumably the captain) on the intercom if he could make an announcement as 'passengers were enquiring' We were then informed that we would have a further delay of up to an hour. We eventually took off at 16.00, over two hours after scheduled time. Thank goodness, I had left plenty of time for my connecting train. I was equally unimpressed for different reasons with Jet2.com on the outward flight on 12 July. I will not be flying with them again.

Convenient flight spoilt by patronising and irritating announcements

Плюсы: The convenience of the route

Минусы: The thumping 'music' as we boarded, the over-jolly announcements which treated the passengers as if they were all mentally deficient or poorly educated. The information they conveyed was clear and comprehensive and obviously, safety instructions are crucial, but the format and tone of delivery were so patronising I thought they were a parody. They also assumed everybody was coming back to the UK after their holiday - the flight had a good proportion of French passengers and some of us don't live in the UK. Make the announcements more neutral. I fly with a lot of no-frills lines, especially Ryanair and EasyJet as well as the larger carriers such as Air France, BA, SAS and Air Canada, but I have never come across such grating and irritating announcements. I will think twice before booking another flight with them rather than endure this again.

Минусы: Having to turn off electronic equipment for take off and 30 mins before landing. Ridiculous as all other airlines now agree this is pointless.

Switch off all electronics!

Плюсы: Boarding was relatively painless. Although as always we seemed to end up in the crèche part of the cabin.

Минусы: Having to switch off all electronics while the seatbelt sign is on believe bags in the last century. Even a kindle! This is just ridiculous.

Venice delays

Минусы: Delay due to incompetence at Venice airport

Плюсы: Everything ran smoothly

Минусы: The constant talking on the overhead trying to sell something (food, donations, duty free) and then the stewardess didn't make it to the back to hand over landing cards.

Gets you there.

Плюсы: - Flight was on time, yet they pad the timetable to make it difficult to be late. - Aircraft was relatively clean considering this was its 4th flight of the day, and the fact it's 29 years old. - More laid back then EZY and FR as they allow a reasonable turnaround time.

Минусы: - Seat assignments don't always make sense, we were split up even though there was an empty row behind us. - Shortly after takeoff passengers moved into the extra legroom seats without paying. - Constant attempt to sell things to you, scratch cards, overpriced drinks etc.

Delayed departures and no suitcase on arrival

Минусы: Our flight out was delayed by a couple of hours and the return flight was delayed at least an hour. It was clear skies, no tusre why. Also, after having paid to check our bag, the bag didn't arrive at our destination because it was removed from the plane, along with 26 others. We didn't get it back for 5 days, just in time for our holiday to be over.

Poor website and info

Минусы: This is a buckle and fine airline. I went to check in online the day before my flight and added a checked bag for each passenger. The website did not work well and it ended up booking 2 bags each and charging me for two each. When I arrived at the airport they said I had not checked on online and had to pay extra for checking in at the airport. I asked for a manager who said there was no record of me going online. That was odd because I booked and paid for my bags online the previous day while I was checking in.they said I had to write a letter to get back my extra baggage fees I was charged in error. I doubt I will ever see that money again.
