The Mira Hong Kong

Amenities were great. Design was good. Location was great for tourism/shopping.

Waited a really really long time for a room. Promised us a room then we waited and waited after a long flight. Said they'd come to us randomly in 3 minutes. Had to repeatedly ask for room which we received at long last a little after 3 pm. ( arrived before noon) Then we had to wait an extra hour for them to find our luggage and bring it to the room. This meant a lot of lost time when time was of the essence in our trip. So, plan for this. Otherwise a great place. A lot of waiting in the cafe resto too. Hotel bar was top!

The Mira is different, standing out from the crowd due to it's designer look & outstanding staff. Put in on an MTR Station & it would be sublime. Note: Chief concierge from the Grand Melborne..enough said.

Noise - Hotel rebuilding with jack-hammer noise during day - Don't plan to be in hotel during the day.

Great hotel , fantastic gym loved the suite and the bathroom

The staff in the club floor are very professionals, always offering to help and assist.Excellent customer service.

The rooms were, if anything, nicer and more comfortable than they looked on the web site albeit a little smallish but HK standard size. The staff were professional and very helpful both on check in and out. I was very impressed with the technology in the rooms including a wireless keyboard that controls the computer on the TV screen. Breakfasts in the restaurant and on the club floor were very nice indeed. No complaints other than cost which is also HK style

Cable reception on the large LCD was grainy at best but everything else was great
