Плюсы: This inn was conveniently located next to a pub and close to Queen Street with all the shops. Maria met us at the inn and showed us everything. She left us chocolates on the bed, Perrier & biscotti and bottled water in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and there was many kitchen supplies (coffee maker, toaster, microwave, plates, cups, etc). There were also lots of useful complimentary items in the washroom, much more than most hotels.

Плюсы: A must have experience in the NOTL area. It is a charming hotel, a lot of history attached to this place. Fireplace, antique furniture, a comfy x-large bed (At least in the king suite). A lot of space in the room.

It’s the only place we stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake because it is close to all the things we want to do, the rooms are beautiful, the staff is amazing and the grounds are fantastic. We were married here in the spring and they bent over backwards to help us.

Плюсы: Breakfast was amazing, especially the eggs benedict, the hash browns and the coffee. Loved the “period decor” everywhere - in our room, the halls and dining area.

Плюсы: I loved that the Inn, it was romantic, the bed was so good for sleeping. The staff was friendly, the view and breakfast were even better! I will be making this Inn an anual trip. Awesome experience all around. Oh and the fireplace in the superior rooms were so grand!

Плюсы: I had no issues with this place. Contrary to the spoiled rants of some of the reviewers on here, I realistically think the place was just fine. However, if you are a seeker of a "six-star" accommodation for the price you get here, then you aren't in luck. So here is a run-down of lies you may see in some of the other reviews about this place: yes the decor is outdated, but so what? Are you there for the decor? Really??? How ridiculous!!! Is the place dirty as some say? No it is absolutely not dirty at all, and no I didn't take time to inspect every corner of the floor as evidence, my time here was not devoted to such useless activity. Does it smell of stale smoke or anything foul? No it does not. And as for the sheets, yes they are brown (omg a deal breaker for some I'm sure), but no they do not smell weird, they smell something called CLEAN. Perhaps some guests were smelling themselves and not the sheets. Is the house run-down or in need of major repairs? Not that we observed. Yes, Michael did tell us the back yard was not manicured, but we wanted to sit back there before going out for dinner anyway. Yes there were chairs on the deck, the breeze was refreshing and the rugged look of the back yard did not offend us. However if you require a manicured landscape, go to the park in town instead. As for the meal, is it inadequate? No not for average non-gluttenous individuals. And yes there was meat in the breakfast sandwich. If you want a wide selection of breakfast items, go to a restaurant. And yes the host was friendly and genuine. 'Interesting' is not a word I would use. He is a regular person who doesn't pretend to be anyone but himself. If you want someone doting on you, hire a companion or a servant perhaps. If you just want basic interaction and service without any special "bling" to boost your ego, then this place will meet your basic unspoiled, unpretentious needs.
