The front desk staff was excellent. They provided good instructions on how to get to the hostel and detailed directions for getting to the tourist site we wanted to see. Although we stayed one night, they were kind enough to hold our bags after check out so we could explore Florence luggage free. Thank you front desk staff! Super nice and competent at their job. The hostel was easy to find and in a central location.

The beds are uncomfortable cots. It was chilly in the room, which made the bedding feel damp. We woke up a little later than planned and requested to have an extra half hour to shower and change before checking out. The front desk okayed it, which was appreciated however, the information was not communicated to the housekeeper. The housekeeper knocked on our door several times, I explained to her that we were allowed to stay for another half hour to shower. She didn't seem to understand or maybe she just didn't care. She rudely told us we had 5 minutes and left.
