Плюсы: The hotel was well situated close to the Reading Market and walking distance to much of the highlights of downtown. The building was nice and the rooms were spacious. Valet parking was good. Check-in was very smooth and the staff was friendly.

Плюсы: Came here for a relaxing weekend get away from New York and this place did not disappoint! The room was huge, bed very comfortable. It was close to the Christmas Markets and shopping. The bae tender in the lobby bar was fantastic, I didn’t catch his name but he was working the 7th December night. He was amazing.

Плюсы: Beautiful hotel in Center City Philly. Loved how close it was to everywhere I needed to go. The room itself was very clean.

Минусы: Where to begin. Staff was horrible to me, even downright rude. The housekeeping staff also did not knock so two of them got a "free show". Embarrassing to say the least. Lack of communication between them and the front desk.

Плюсы: The staff is absolutely excellent as is the location of the property! It was a bit over our budget, but we splurged and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely hotel.

Минусы: Heating system blows only cold air in room 1234 almost whatever the temp setting. Room cold unless set to 80 so it reaches 70. But even then air blowing is sorta neutral, not warm.

Плюсы: We stay in a suite. I have no complaints about it, it was large and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. Very clean!

Минусы: We tried to order room service and call the front desk desk many times during the stay and no one answered the phone. On my last day I finally figured out that calling the hotel directly on my cell phone was the only way to get someone on the phone. Also we used the valet service for our car since we drove in from NY for the weekend. Saturday night we had tickets to a 76ers game at Wells Fargo Center that started at 7:30p. We called for our car from the room at 6:45p since the stadium is only 10-15 mins away. We came down stairs at 6:55p and our car wasn’t there yet. Long story short after asking for our car multiple times we didn’t get it till around 7:45p. They did comp us a day for valet but we got to the game late and missed the first quarter. My husband wasn't happy about that.

Минусы: I was locked out of my room. The key lock was defective. I had to ask front desk for keys 3 x and it still did not work. They finally got repair man there but I had to leave room for a few hours. as he had to work on lock

Плюсы: This hotel is in the Rittenhouse area ofPhila. It is NOT in Rittenhouse Square. A 4 diamond hotel has a nice lounge/bar. Attentive bartender & waiter for cocktails. Room Was nice but dated with mixed upgrades done in stages so you can see it’s older. Bed was comfortable & bedding was soft. All was clean and our suite was at the end of the hallway with an outter door before getting to our suite door.

Минусы: The car valet area lacks management. It also is extremely small, those clients that order UBER are allowed better service by the hotel valet staff members than those who drive their own vehicles. So many staff valet parking staff employees- making it highly difficult to tip all 8-10. Living room was great and lighting okay throughout. 2 televisions in this suite. Key card for door entry. Thermal blackout drapes throughout suite. TV remotes are okay , delay in TV response to change channels. Wireless plugs fir charging phones available in room. There is a desk in room along side ample closet near door entry. Carpet needs steam cleaning throughout the suite! Upon arrival the front reception desk had poor coverage. 1 hospitality person fir a line of guests. I waited 15 min to get room reservation check-in. I noted this at the front desk & was upgraded to a suite in 5th floor corner room. I’d like to say something about the entry into the suite, the bathroom is straight ahead with double French doors that had frosted glass panels. Poor privacy fir guests who are visiting you in suite & see you in the bathroom. There are double French doors on the other side of the bathroom near the bedroom. Same thing frosted glass panels on French doors near dressing area. Little privacy ! Uncomfortable- one more thing above the shower that was 3x3 was a metal door with four screws to keep it attached to a frame in ceiling drywall. It was odd - unattached on 2 opposite sides & open - creepy - don’t know if there is a hidden camera in this opening.

Минусы: The shower door would was broken and would not close. We were not left more shampoo and conditioner the second day. Room needed vacuumed it was dirty Way too much money to not have things perfect

Плюсы: The Sofitel Rittenhouse Square paid attention to every last detail. From complimentary Lavazza coffee and delectable pain au chocolat in the lobby in the morning, to the softest bathrobe in the room that I've ever felt.

Плюсы: We were upgraded to a luxury suite for $20 additional charge which I thought for a hotel of this caliber was excellent! I thought the room and decor was nice. The shower and tub was quite small and antiquated. I think the tub needed to be reglazed

The larger room only had a small couch facing the TV. Very uncomfortable. Whoever is designing the room interiors needs to go back to school.

Минусы: Our book.com reservation didn’t come through by the time we had reached the hotel, so they spent nearly an hour trying to figure out what went wrong and we were put in an inferior room to the one we paid for which meant we slept in separate beds despite being on honeymoon.

Плюсы: A building with history , lobby is magnificent with the huge and high marble columns.T he location of the hotel is in down town and most restaurants and attractions around are in close proximity.Service was up to five stars standard. Breakfast was good and I do recommend to try the Burger.

Минусы: The hotel entrance is just on the road, difficult to park and sometimes is hazardous . The lobby A/C is in full blast, it’s freezing. The elevators system is outdated and in need of change.

Плюсы: The service and attentiveness to detail is always excellent. My room was lovely and more than comfortable. This is a lovely hotel with a perfect location, just south of City Hall.

Минусы: We experienced several days of significant rainfall and the lack of a covered awning to the curb was a bit inconvenient.

Плюсы: This hotel was way beyond worth the price. We chose it for the proximity to the convention center and were expecting a good hotel experience. What we got was a great experience, the staff were all friendly and helpful, the free breakfast was different every morning and the food was very good. There was plenty of seating and surfaces, since we were here for a game convention, the lobby was full of people playing games and the staff was helpful and catered to everyone's needs. Also, the rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable, we had one minor issue and it was addressed immediately. I am now just typing to waste space so I can post this because booking.com thinks I need to say more. Wow, I still need more.

Минусы: The location was not great for parking to unload our luggage and load our luggage after checkout, but honestly that can be said for most any hotel in the city. Also, the city noises at night, which were better than most places I have stayed due to the location, any noises were at a distance and honestly are unavoidable. I am now just typing to waste space so I can post this because booking.com thinks I need to say more.

Минусы: My particular room was very noisy. My window overlooked the roof with HVAC units. Walls dinged up. I actually got the room for free so I shouldn’t complain too much, but if I had paid for this room I’d be unhappy.

Минусы: The site said there was a pool and hot tub. This is an egregious lie. There is no pool or hot tub. I selected this hotel for the pool and hot tub. Suffice to say, I am extremely disappointed.
