Плюсы: Riad was amazing, so clean and staff were so friendly and accomadating, especially Simon he could not have been more helpful with information and organising a trip to the blue city, would highly recommend staying here, very comfortable and peaceful ambiance.

Плюсы: We had the most wonderful stay at this riad! We got information about where to park and how to find the way to the riad. It’s not easy to find a riad in fes, but this one was already marked on the streets so you could’t get it wrong. Also the communication was very fast and clear. We immediately got tea and cookies when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the best breakfast and the seasonal juice was amazing! Simon really made us feel like we were home in the riad. We had a nice chat and he brought us tea by the pool. He made sure we didn’t miss anything! The room was great and we even got an update to a more expensive room. Everything is cleaned every day so it was very clean. The room also has everything you need. It even has a jacuzzi on the terras! You also have a great view over the city from the rooftop. The rooms are as in the pictures. An amazing place to get away from the busy old medina. The riad is just a few minutes away from the most known places in Fes like the blue gate. We didn’t have dinner at the riad, but we saw other people having dinner and the food looked really good! If we return to Fes, we will also return to this riad and we will recommend it to other people.

Плюсы: Staff very kind and accommodating. The riad was quiet and peaceful and I rarely saw anyone else there. My room was well-decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Bed was large and comfortable with good quality bedding.

Минусы: Small thing, but perhaps the bathroom could be refreshed with a bath or new shower. I wasn't able to close the shutter in the bathroom so it jutted into the shower. I would have liked the option of a more Moroccan breakfast.

Плюсы: We wanted a double bed instead of singles and they upgraded us for free as it was low season. They provided great advice and organised a great walking tour for us. This place is AMAZING !!! We asked for an omellette as part of breakfast and this was not a problem. Mohamed is a sweerheart.

Плюсы: Everything. From the moment I walked in Mohammed was incredible. He brought me tea and cookies. Gave me a tour of the hotel and my room. It was easily one of my favorite experiences of my entire trip. I will be coming back.

Минусы: We need to paid two taxes, but I just know the city tax for each person (2 euros) in booking.com. The other one local tax total around 60 darham we don’t know from the booking.com.

Плюсы: It's really worth to stay here! Very good position, in old Medina, nice and so kind stuff and very clean all the hotel. The rooms are so big and lovely decorated! Our breakfast it was good with homemade yogurt and fresh juice etc and we also have a great dinner with local flavors like lamp with eggplants and variety of maroccon salads. Generally it's definitely a very good choice in Fes!!!

Плюсы: The hosts are the most hospitable people I have ever met ! They are very kind and they take care of you as much as they can! The chicken pastille is the best we tried and thank you again Idriss for cooking for us although we asked you last minute! The day tour at Fes they can organize worths a lot as the local guide speaks perfect English and you will learn everything without getting tired at all! The riad is very stylish and traditional, the roof has very nice view of the Médina specially at night and you can hear the prays which is very atmospheric! Everything was perfect!

Плюсы: Idriss, our host, was exceptional. Very helpful, flexible and accommodating (helped with further plans) - Location in Medina was excellent. - Rooms were both larger than at comparable price points elsewhere, and beautiful. - Great roof terrace. - Generous breakfast.

Плюсы: Wonderful staff. They booked a Médina guide for us and hammam services. Plus they gave us great recommendations. Great breakfasts- different everyday. They helped us with directions to the riad and parking. Both can be very difficult to find in Fes. The riad emailed me directions before we left home and then helped me via what’s app as we arrived in the city. Also, when we were in Fed in was HOT! They adjusted our AC so we were really comfortable when we needed some downtime.

Плюсы: Amazing accommodation, location and staff . Love how the place has a story to tell and reflects the culture and heritage of Morocco and specially Fes. It feels like you are staying at someone’s luxury place and not a hotel. Mohammed will take care of you if you need a guide. Highly recommend you ask for Zakariya El Edrisis. He will take you to a 3 hours amazing tour and reveal to you the secrets of the town and history and meaning behind each symbol and sign . He speaks 4 languages fluently and can take you to all sort of discussions so feel free to ask.

Минусы: It’s not that I didn’t like but you need to be aware the whole place is not sound proof ... everything can be heard from inside your room. Wireless can be weak and rooms don’t have aTV. if you book the white room like me, keep in mind, it’s right in the middle of the Recieption

Минусы: The floors, rugs in room were white so the dirt was apparent. They should choose a different color since It is in Medina and can be quite dirty and dusty. otherwise all else was fine.

Плюсы: Staff came to meet us at the taxi lot so we wouldn’t get lost. We only stayed one night but had to leave early so they made us breakfast to go without hesitation. They also ensured we had a ride in the morning and welcomed us very warmly. A wonderful experience albeit short.

Плюсы: The courtyards are beautiful and rooftop has spectacular views; the room is modern and clean with a very good shower; most of the staff are friendly and helpful; decent breakfast; location wise - the riad is at the heart of the medina so we managed to visit all the mey tourist spots by foot, that being said, it is also very far from the main road (ie where cars/taxis can stop by).

Минусы: The porter arranged by the riad was rude and unfriendly - upon our arrival at the riad, the porter REFUSED to open the door when we did not tip him. When the same porter sent us to the taxi stand on our departure day, we tipped him an adequate amount but he insisted for more. When we refused to tip any extra amount, he slammed our taxi door. Clearly we were not very happy with his actions. We believe that tipping of the staff of the hotel (incl. the porter) should always be DISCRETIONARY AND OF A GRATUITOUS NATURE. Further, the Moroccan guy who has a beard and wears glasses (and appears to be the manager of the riad) is somewhat unfriendly - we also witnessed him requesting a guest to tip the porter another MAD 10 when the said guest had already paid MAD 10. Again, the amount of tip should always be on an entirely discretionary basis and should not be determined by someone from the hotel.

Плюсы: Riad is absolutely beautiful with three differents courtyards and splendid rooftops with medina views Tasty lunch and dinner available at the hotel. Double bedroom is very large space and perfectly tidy everyday. Dont forget it's in the medina but the hotel always help you with a guide to move around at night time or for carrying luggage

Минусы: Breakfast is buffet, so better come early

Плюсы: если бы у меня был в Марокко дом, он был бы именно таким. песочно - бежевым. с легкими оттенками пудрового в лучах уходящего солнца. с яркими элементами (не перегружающими взгляд акцентами) марокканского стиля очень ловко вплетенными в (казалось бы очень лаконичный, но, как по мне, безупречный) интерьер. идеальное соотношение цена - качество - сервис. и, конечно, очень отзывчивый персонал. клубника на завтрак. кофе в 6 утра. поздний омлет в 8 вечера. провести до такси и невероятный панорамный вид Fes Medina и, пожалуй, на жизнь. как она есть. — да. место для тех, кто понимает суть в мелочах. стильный Raid to escape для тех, кто знает и понимает, для тех, кто приехал за (вдох)новением.

Минусы: невозможно найти самостоятельно. даже не пытайтесь.

Плюсы: The hotel is located in the middle of the Fes medina, which is a massive sprawl of winding streets. That makes it convenient to reach. The terrace has a spectacular view of the medina, especially in the evening when it's all lit up. A part of the hotel is a gorgeous, well-preserved 17th century home. Even the modern additions have been designed in keeping with the traditional Moroccan aesthetic. A shout-out to Omar, who does everything from billing to waiting tables. He was a terrific host.

Минусы: It would be nice if the breakfast spread includes more varieties of fruit and dry fruit, both of which are of fantastic quality in Morocco.

Staffs are helpful and friendly, we arrived late and he picked us up and walked us to the riad. The room is the best one II've ever stayed, We love it!!

Плюсы: The riad is sublime! The court yards, the pool and rooms are really beautiful! The staffs are very friendly too!

Минусы: It locates inside the old town and only accessible by walking and we are not aware of it. So finding the hotel and parking is a bit stressful. Just call the hotel and they will send a local staff to help.

Плюсы: The main patio is pretty charming with a history of more than 600 years. There are plenty of shared spaces, like corridor, their three patios, poolside, and of course the amazing terrace where you can enjoy the fabulous panorama of Médina. For the last two nights we stayed in a Junior Suite which is the main patio. It has a split level where locate the bathroom. The staff are helpful and speak fluent English. During our stay, they helped to arrange us an excursion to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and Meknès. The service was excellent and the driver is kind and nice.

Минусы: There are some young boys hanging out at night near the hotel, just about 5 to 10 meters away. So if you need to go out in the evening, pay attention and be careful.

Плюсы: The staff were amazing and dedicated to ensuring we had everything we needed. Abdul packed us lunches when we had an early start, made sure we were comfortable in our room and when my husband slipped and sprained his ankle, he carried him to a taxi so we could go to the hospital. The riad was beautiful and we had a gorgeous balcony area. It was very clean.

Минусы: The location of the riad was far from the main mosques etc that me and my husband wanted of travel to.

Плюсы: Nothing than room itself. Room we stayed was fine however there was a weird unpleasant smell inside all the time.

Минусы: Our experience with this hotel was horrible. It is said in their description that there is a traditional moroccan hammam and treatments in Riad. When we arrived Riad, receptionist said that hammam is broken and will not be fixed for weeks. When we called booking to complain about, suddenly it appeared that they have “hammam” working. Of course they made it up to avoid refund/cancellation. Later, when we wanted to take a hammam treatment, they took us to the dirty room with housekeeping/cleaning facilities inside and we were informed that the housekeeper of the hotel will do our hammam treatments. Ridiculous, not? In a short, this place is fraud! Even though it is called "riad and spa", they dont have proper facilities for spa and they are not transparent/honest about what facilities they have. Addition to that, the man worked in receptionist was very rude and it seemed he hated his job. He was completely unhelpful during our stay and could not accommodate any simple request we had. Breakfast was not fresh either and if you need to leave riad earlier than 8 am, they expect you not kindly ask but beg for early breakfast. Just note that, in any other riad we stayed in Morocco, we were given an early breakfast when we requested it day before.

Плюсы: Loved the beautiful patio with fabulous wall deco, furniture and fountain in the middle. Such a calm and relaxing space. The staff was very nice and helpful. The diner was delicious. Eating authentic food at an authentic atmosphere of this old riad is definitely part of Moroccan experiences, worthwhile trying. I fully recommend Riad Zamane.

Минусы: No issue about this wonderful riad. — In the neighborhood, some youths / children idling at the street were sometimes noisy (including late at night) and annoying. This may be a common issue for many different riads located in the same street. (Though, we are foreign visitors and are allowed to stay in local people’s living space, so it is by no means intended to impose tourists’ comfort standards.)

Плюсы: Main atrium was beautiful and ornate, the suite had a nice private terrace. Staff member Abu was also very friendly and helped us to feel at home

Минусы: Bedroom and bathroom were tired, and we would have appreciated a duvet. We were also asked to return the key on leaving the riad for dinner as they only had one! We were also asked to pay the bill in cash which wasnt mentioned on booking through this site, which caused a little inconvenience.

Плюсы: Уникальное чувство погруженности в восточную сказку. Весь риад построен в сторону внутреннего двора. Останавливаться надо только в двух номерах: Tarbe или Safir. Разница в цене несущественна, а ощущение непередаваемое. Окна смотрят во внутренний двор, а там и есть вся восточная красота узоров и орнаментов. Сам номер можно рассматривать бесконечно долго, тут тоже узорчатые арки над кроватью, мягкие диваны, восточные светильники. Красиво! Не ищите модных ресторанов, поешьте здесь, оно того стоит! Уникальная атмосфера приватности, в гостинице всего шесть номеров и очень малая вероятность, что вам кто-то помешает. Традиционная марокканская кухня в очень деликатном исполнении. Саид, смотритель отеля, очень приятный и дружелюбный человек. Всё покажет, расскажет об истории места, покажет достопримечательности вокруг.

Минусы: Вода в ванной сливается в течении 20 минут. Утром не смог дождаться теплой воды, хотя очень долго сливал.При этом в комнате дочки на верхнем этаже из крана шёл кипяток! Завтрак мог быть поинтересней.

Плюсы: Очень красивый интерьер внутреннего дворика, хорошее расположение в медине, парковка не далеко от риада (мы парковались около Госпиталя);

Минусы: Завтрак очень скудный; жили в номере на крыше - номер не понравился, старый и холодный; друзья заказывали хамам, в итоге в хамаме замерзли

Плюсы: The staff at Dar Anebar was fantastic: helpful, pleasant and generous. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was excellent and quiet. There is also a lovely terrace.

Плюсы: We had a Lovely stay in fez! Great location, very friendly and helpful people. You don't need more for a great Vacation. The hotel is close to the taxis But also close to the medina. We would really recommand this place!

Плюсы: My husband and I stayed here during our 5-day trip to Fez and loved it, very calm and relaxing place and the staff is so amazing. They were some of the friendliest people we met during our 2-month journey in Morocco. Breakfast is lovely, and the location makes it very easy to reach the Blue Gate and other attractions via taxi (no getting lost finding your way through the medina, unless of course you want to ;)). Wifi was good for us digital nomads, our room was cleaned regularly, and I can't stress enough how awesome the staff were - we felt like they were family by the time we left. Плюсы: This Riad (hotel) is located close to the edge but within the old city (Medina) – it requires assistance to access, as taxis and other wheeled vehicles have no direct access. The Riad will arrange to meet your taxi at the closest main gate. It features a beautiful atrium, three stories in height, and onto which all the rooms have a direct outlook. There is also a roof terrace with recreation area and good views of the city. While there is no elevator, the obliging staff are only too willing to carry your suitcases to your room. A traditional breakfast is included in the tariff, and a limited-menu dinner can also be provided at an additional charge if desired. The proprietor, Ahmed, is friendly and obliging. For example, he arranged to purchase a train ticket for me so that I did not need to make a special trip to the train station (online ticket purchases seem to be restricted to those with a Moroccan credit card). The free wi-fi worked well, and the rooms were elegant and charming, with an old-world, Arabic ambience. Ahmed also arranged for an English-speaking Guide for me, as it would be impossible to negotiate the narrow streets, lanes and alleyways of the Medina without a Guide. Fortunately, the Medina in Fez does not permit wheeled vehicles of any kind (except small trolleys), which is a great advantage over the equivalent precinct in Marrakech, where you take your life into your hands as the sometimes fast-moving scooters etc. negotiate their way around obstacles such as pedestrians! Fez uses donkeys and mules to transport heavier loads through the streets and laneways of the Medina (beware the manure).

Минусы: I did find, however, that the lighting level in my room was a bit too low for functional requirements. My only criticism was that my Guide appeared to be nothing more than a tout for various tourist venues and retail establishments. At every stop, I was passed over to a merchant who started doing a sales pitch. I told the Guide I wasn't really interested in buying tourist souvenirs, but he took no notice (he's probably on a commission).

Плюсы: It’s a perfect stay here ! The whole Riad is beautiful ,with finest decoration !Everything is fine here ! The food is fresh and good !The staff is helpful and nice ! The room is tidy and spacious.When you bathing , you will hear some songs from the birds outside ！

Плюсы: The breakfast was great-- pastries, bread, eggs, sometimes fruit, coffee, and fresh squeezed juice. The room was gorgeous and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, if a little small compared to our riad in Marrakech of comparable cost. The food at the restaurant for dinner is much better than most riad restaurants. Extremely well flavored and delicate, with elegant presentation and some modern tweaks on traditional Moroccan dishes. Definitely recommend eating here at least once during your stay, if not more! The common areas were really the standout-- the central open air courtyard, the libraries and sitting rooms, and the spa were all beautiful and each decorated a little bit differently-- modern, traditional Berber, eclectic. I wish the fountains and water features had been working, as that would have just added the little extra "oomph" that would have set it over the top. The spa and hammam were our favorite of our entire multi-week stay in Morocco-- and we went to 4 different ones, ranging from local and cheap, to fancy and Western at 5-star hotels. Not only were the facilities beautiful and calm, but both of our attendants (hammam, and then masseuse) gave us the best treatments we experienced in the country! Both were comparable to service we would expect at a high-end American spa. They have laundry service, which is especially valuable when you have been traveling for awhile. The rooftop terrace is amazing, and probably the best part of the property. You have a beautiful view of the sunset, and they will bring you your breakfast or mint tea to sip while you are up there. While we were there, a family of kittens was always playing around. Gorgeous! I wish there were more lounge chairs/shaded pavilions to better take advantage of the view.

Минусы: There are no hand rails to help you up and down the steep stairs, which was problematic for my older, retired parents. This made it especially difficult for them to take advantage of the terrace. The location is just okay. Certainly walkable to the souqs and major sites, but not in the middle of them. I would advise staying closer to the Blue Gate if you want to to be closer to that. Still, it is relatively near a good plaza where a taxi can drop you off, and then the staff will come meet you and transfer your luggage. It made it quiet, and more residential with more locals.

Плюсы: Even before we arrived we were so pleased with the communication by Otmane and his staff! In all our years of travel there have been only I'd say a handful of places that have provided service like they did and we had not even checked in yet! When we arrived Otmane had sent a staff member to great and take us the Riad which was very helpful! Now the journey truly begins on the outside it is an unassuming Riad but the second you enter the doors you are taken aback by the beauty of the entrance and riad! Otmane was ever so kind to accommodate our requests and help guide us on places to go even though we came late in the day! You are greeted with mint tea and snacks while your bags are recieved by the staff taken to your suite. The suite was a Moroccan/French dream! We fell in love with it immediately and every detail was magnificent. The terrace is the real gem you can see the entire Medina and at sunrise it is beautiful. Otmane and the staff were amazing and we will be staying here during our next visit!! This place is special!

Плюсы: Everything was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The room looked absolutely amazing and was so cozy. The general director went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. They also organised a guided tour for us although we were very last minute.

Плюсы: Place is well decorated and has very good vibes. Rooms offer a lot of intimacy!

Плюсы: The neighbourhood is one of the happiest I’ve experienced in a long time. Service staff are eager to please and location is great, minutes walk from good food and the market.

Минусы: Our suite was located on the third floor with steep steps, something to consider if you are lazy or travelling with elderly. The shower area could be better designed with a partition to prevent water from splashing into common areas.

Плюсы: Отличный приветливый персонал, всегда готовый Вам помочь. Мы бронировали 2-х местный номер, который по факту оказался очень тесным и с двумя раздельными кроватями. Но нам сразу же предложили большой роскошный номер, правда на первом этаже, но стены там толстые, комфорту это неубавило. Вкусный завтрак.

Минусы: Массаж и бассейн. Женщина, которая нам делала массаж, либо делала его впервые, либо она вообще не массажистка. До этого мы ее видели, как она полы мыла. В итоге просто руками поводила и все. В самом начале часто отвлекалась на телефон. Бассейн по факту оказался небольшой купелью.

Плюсы: Первый раз останавливались в риаде, конечно обалдели от красоты и роскоши. Шикарные комнаты, высоченные потолки, все вокруг как в сказке Шахерезады:) Находится в самой медине, но буквально недалеко от ворот, можно заехать на машине. Парковка рядом с риадом бесплатно. Очень приветливый и приятный персонал. Помогали во всем, с чем обращались. В 23 часа ночи сообразили нам шикарный ужин, несмотря на то, что кухня была уже закрыта. Также порекомендовали отличный хамам неподалёку. Ну а за помощь с парковкой отдельное огромное спасибо, ибо без неё вообще б никак (кто знает, какие улочки в медине). Вай-фай отлично работал на всей территории риада.

Плюсы: Very nice and decent Moroccan styled environment

Плюсы: The property was large and spacious, great location. The Médina is a big city made up of over 9,000 alley ways so when arriving it was easy to reach the Raid, which is located within the medina ways but the taxi can drop you off very close with a short walk. The staff were welcoming and were happy to talk to us and suggest where to go as well as making us feel at home.

Минусы: There was a problem with the hot water Notified staff first morning, but they passed it off as other guests using all the hot water. Had tepid shower in the afternoon. Tried having an earlier shower the next morning, again no hot water. Immediately complained again and asked to be moved and speak to manager. Staff then said there was a leak and would attend to it but would move me to a different property for my last night, which they did with all assistance. Think there was a reluctance of staff to be completely honest with situation

Плюсы: Luxurious spacious room on the ground floor was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and very helpful in making out stay a pleasant experience. They were very helpful in providing information for getting around Fes and booking a guide and transport. Always willing to provide tea,hot water etc at any time and always with a smile.

Плюсы: The men at the reception were very kind.

Минусы: We had a free upgrade to a biggest room, but it was smelling bad and didn't look very clean, especially the barhroom

Плюсы: The riad foyer is very impressive - some sort of Andalusien architecture. It was very pleasant to sit there and surf in the internet in all tranquility. The rooms are good furnished. The staff is very helpfull, open minded and extremely taking care of its guests. The breakfast was good - Natural orange juice/caffe/bread/cheese/sweets/kacke... actually all what I needed to start my day.. Each person is being served personally by the staff. The staff always helped me parking my hired car near the Riad for no fees which is to thank them for that. Parking mostly always will cost you in Morocco as the rest of the world. I have arrived one night earlier and mr. Mohammed the owner of the riad helped me to find a room on a short notice and more he has sent his employee to receive me and then guide me to a second riad he owns. I thank him for that - mr. Mohammed always responded to my messages on Whatsup in a matter of few minutes....

Минусы: What i‘m writing here is related indirectly to the Riad. It‘s about the tour guide. I have asked the staff to book me one for three hours. He came at the morning. I‘m a person who is interested in history and culture. After one hour he collected a group of french girls in the old city in other riad (to maximize his profit on that day). And so he had to explain in 2 languages. He has taken the liberty and didn't make the effort to explain much a bout the history of Fes: - 30% of the time was spent visiting some historical places - 70% of the time was for shopping - jumping from one store to another. Clearly he has some deal With the shops where he gets provisions on each buy.... It was somehow bizarre for me and the group.... He was a manipulative person. It was not professional and he deserves merely 2 stars out of 5. The money he insisted to have he also didn’t deserve point and a new line.

Плюсы: Although we only stayed 1 night in Fez, we absolutely had a great time. Mohammed, the host was really kind and helpful. We had to leave early for our flight the next morning so we didnt have time to eat our breakfast, so he gave us a breakfast takeaway, which we really appreciated, we were able to eat it at the airport instead of buying. Oh and the room was splendid!!!! Totally recommend this Riad!

Плюсы: From arrival we were made to feel absolutely welcome. Our room was incredible, the location is right by the old Medina (and the staff were so helpful in making sure we didn’t get lost), and the food is delicious (try the Moroccan soup and the beef tagine)! The owner is absolutely lovely and allowed us to swim at one of his other riads, the rooftop terrace is super cute and I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff are. We will be returning on our next trip to Morocco!

Минусы: Don’t get hustled by the locals on your way to the Medina, it is easy to find yourself and they will try to take money off you.

Плюсы: It was our fist time in morocco and and arrived late at night and we were still greeted by hassan and salah which are the 2 persons that run the hotel. They are very helpful, humble and caring persons and always smiling and ready to help you in all your needs. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was to die for. Top notch service!!!!

Минусы: Завтраки были вкусными, но однообразными. Каждый день одно и то же: блины, два вида лепешек, кексы, йогурт, свежий сок и чай/кофе.

Плюсы: Such a cute riad, very close to the media. The view from the balcony is beautiful. And the most of all, the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Плюсы: The stuff was really nice and kind and the room was really big , clean and beautiful.

Минусы: The braekfast was not good at all, the food wasnt fresh and really dry, but Hasen bought for us a new bread and in the end we had what to eat, but i think you sould make the food at the morning and not just to warm up in a microwave. The secand thing is that the tap in the shower was broken and also in the toilet and it was really hard to use it.

Минусы: I guess it’s common to all Riads I stayed: didn’t like the smell of place. There is always strong aromatic smell that is masking another smell. Also I didn’t enjoy the toilet room that is in a basement floor. Which means you don’t have any door to toilet and bath. It’s just a big hole on the floor.

Плюсы: The place is stunning, right out of a storybook tale. A "thousand-nights" ambience. The staff will go out of their way to help you: Sultan, Salah, Hassan, Emane. Especially Hamza, who is the guide and driver for the sightseeing, was extremely helpful end supporting during a walk around the inner part of the old medina. I owe this guy a lot, because he acted like a real brother in a complicated situation there. Thank you for everything, brother!

Минусы: Very difficult to mention a negative aspect to the riad.

Плюсы: Despite there being an issue with our original booking - the staff were quick to resolve and upgraded us into a suite in another affiliated hotel. Staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Минусы: Laundry was expensive to get done (although did come back very promptly!) The room was lovely but could do with updating/refreshing (new air con, new towels)

Плюсы: Beautiful place with very nice people. They do everything to help you. The breakfast on the roof felt very special. Also, it was a nice experience to be able to swim inside a riad! And the beautiful hall took our breath away. We didn't try the hamam, since we prefered to go to a local one, it costs less. And for those who'd like to know: the jacuzzi costs 150.000 MAD per person for 30 minutes. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Плюсы: Our stay at the Palais d'Hôtes was extremely pleasant. The hotel was magnificent and the suites and facilities were exceptional. The hotel staff, especially Rachid, were extremely accommodating and met our every request. I would highly recommended the in-house hammam.

Плюсы: Very beautiful riad, with a big swimming pool and spa. When we arrived in the evening, they gave us some Moroccan tea and pastries. Nice big terrace where you can enjoy the views while having breakfast or dinner. Delicious breakfast, you can choose what you like. All the staff was very polite and supportive, special thanks to Mehdi at the reception - very attentive and helpful, provided us all the information and even changed the room to a superior one for the second night. We were leaving early in the morning, and they prepared a little take away breakfast. Highly recommended.

Плюсы: The grand junior room which we were upgraded to for free was superb. Breakfast on the terrace was second to none the views were spectacular over the Médina. So much more for your money then Marrakesh. Would recommend this Riad.

Заказывали фрукты в номер, все оказалось бесплатно, в счёт не включили. Можно поужинать у них же. Завтрак выбираешь по меню заранее из списка, очень удобно и красиво сервируют.

Плюсы: Traditional design at its best, an amazing hideaway just meters from the center of Fes. Exceptionally hospitality from all staff. Really nice breakfast and dinner in the restaurant next to the pool. I wish I had more days!!!

Плюсы: Best accommodation I've ever stayed in. It was so authentically Moroccan and the staff were so accommodating. Plus amazing breakfast and food (even if they were European prices).

Минусы: Some rooms are quite high up, so if stairs are a problem you might want to check your room but for us this was no problem.

Плюсы: Meals were amazing. Service was top notch. Everything was just beautiful. We felt like we had a beautiful palace all to ourselves. Great staff. Very safe.

Минусы: Pool was very cold. Difficult to find off the alley. We didn’t like the Medina at all. Parking is a huge hassle and the parking lot swindlers almost ruined our arrival. Horrible to drive into.

Плюсы: This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It was even better than the photos. I had some of the best food here for my entire time spent in morocco. The hotel staff were so attentive and so friendly, I absolutely love this place and would recommend anyone visiting Fez to stay here. one of the two nights spent here was very entertaining. Whilst my friend and I were enjoying dinner near the pool, people were playing traditional music, doing henna, and a tour group were also enjoying a cooking class run by the hotel. very happy with the experience

Минусы: Residential part of Medina, lacks attention to detail in both service and look and feel. Was expensive.

Плюсы: The best thing about this riad is the staff. They are all very helpful. Zechariah speaks about 5 languages as far as I can tell and is enormously helpful. Mohammed is very helpful too, as was Nordine. The owner is lucky to have such a good team. The riad itself is very beautiful. We had a lovely suite called Habiba, named after the owner's wife. The food was good - we ate dinner there twice and the breakfasts were generous. Two tips - there is parking very near by, about 200m from the riad. If you pay them generously (say 30 Dirham per 24 hours) they will make sure you always have a space whenever you return and our car was perfectly safe for 5 days, coming and going as we pleased. Secondly the riad is not signposted from the road. You should look for the pharmacie Fatima and park there. Ignore any unofficial guides - the riad is just around the back and you can ask directions from the shop. If you go in winter wrap up warm at night when out and about. It gets close to freezing!

Минусы: The roof terrace is not yet open - I hear that the owner has grand plans for it following the purchase of a third riad next door, which they will knock through and create more rooms and more social space. But this won't be ready for use until later in 2019.

Минусы: The riad could have added a hot pot and tea and coffee in the room. But they were her prompt in giving us hot water whenever we asked for it

Минусы: Everything about this experience was horrible. After making a reservation through Kayak, I contacted the Riad directly to check if they can arrange for an extra bed in the room. The Riad said they didn’t have my reservation so I sent along the reservation confirmation I received from Kayak’s partner site. The Riad subsequently responded and said that they didn’t have any rooms so they would accommodate us at Road Myra which was generally in the same location and looked good online so I agreed as long as the same requirements and rates would be honored. The Riad continued to communicate with me about airport transfer etc which lead me to believe that the same owners or management staff manages both the roads. When we got to Riad Myra, it was a horrible experience. At first, they claimed that they didn’t have my reservation, didn’t communicate clearly, didn’t tell us about Riad amenities (we were coming from marrkech and had a wonderful experience at 2 roads here), and proceeded to give us a shitty standard room with such low ceilings that we felt claustrophobic. When I told them that I had booked a suite and absolutely needed it starting next day since our third friend was arriving they said they would move us the next day. Next day, on inquiring about airport transfer for my friend, they acted clueless. Then called the original Riad and proceeded to take over the arrangement . When I asked them to adjust the room price given we didn’t get the suite on first night, the manager, Salma said she would talk to the other Riad. Subsequently Salma avoided all eye contact and communication with me for next 3 days. On the final day she got one of the porters to settle the dues and I requested to speak with her regarding my question. She reluctantly called, spoke to the other Riad on phone (which she had clearly not done before as promised), gave me vague answers and proceeded to charge me 40 € extra per night for my third friend although we had agreed to to 30 € in prior communication on email. Overall I recommend everyone to stay away from road al amine fes and Riad Myra. I urge the management to ensure staff and especially manager, Salma doesn’t ruin the guest experience.

Плюсы: Breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal for visiting the Medina. The staff tried very hard and were very friendly.

Минусы: There was building work going on within the Riad which mean't that we were unable to use the roof terrace. This wasn't explained to us prior to our booking

Плюсы: The beauty of this property is UNBELIEVABLE. We had the most. amazing time and felt like we were treated like kings and queens. Chirifi was our personal staff member who stayed with us morning and night during our stay. He served us, answered all of our questions, took care of us, and genuinely looked after us and our best interest. He and the entire staff exceeded all expectation and went above and beyond to serve us! Wish we stayed longer! Such a gem of a find.

Плюсы: The best riad I have ever visited in Morocco. The staff are nice and the honor was very hospitable person. If I come back to Fes it is the place to stay. If you wanna see a true riad with authentic Moroccan style, it is the place to be. Convenient location, walking distance to Bab bu jlude, quite and romantic courtyards.

Минусы: Some new staff needs more training.

Плюсы: Breakfast was a Moroccan feast and we were waited on like royalty! Showers had great pressure and could be as hot as you liked. Rooms were richly decorated and the beds comfortable.

Минусы: Spotty WiFi service, even in our rooms directly above reception.

Плюсы: The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. Breakfast was very nice.

Минусы: They needed one or two luggage racks and there was the perfect space for them. The bathroom was very small and the door stuck badly and there was some kind of water leak on the floor.

Плюсы: In a the old medina, a city part that looks really poor, with walls looking like ruins, a wonderfull orientally decoretd hotel reveals entering through the gate of Riad Salam Fes. It is like the secret garden from 1001 nights. It actually has 3 inner courts ending with the one that has a small pool. Hotel staff is most kind.

Минусы: Food was quite a dissapointment. Drain needs to be fixed.

Плюсы: Public areas super with all the mosaic tiles. Pool looked great too

Минусы: More light in rooms, unable to read as sooo dark. Bathroom could do with a good clean Breakfast could have been better

Плюсы: The building is impressive. The actual location is good as it's not near all the hustle and bustle of the medina and gives you the chance to get a break.

Минусы: The staff were not very attentive to customers, including delays to answer questions, being frustrated when the reception phone rung and being slow to address wifi issues across the hotel.

Плюсы: A really great place! We arrived hot from a bus ride and Mohammed was very very helpful in checking us in and providing a beautiful room. He was extremely accommodating as I was traveling 29 weeks pregnant! The room was very clean and nice. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet and peaceful. We had a great sleep! Mohammed helped us to find a beautiful vegetarian meal for dinner at a Riad close by and they even walked us there so that we wouldn’t get lost. Excellent service! The next day, we were provided with a map for a walking tour of the Medina. Thank you for making us feel at home!

Минусы: Lack of tissue paper, refrigerator and so on. But it's obvioulsy not a big problem.

Плюсы: Mohammed was a brilliant host and helped us out with everything we needed. It was thoughtful of him to meet us at the Gate to the Médina and walk to the Riad with us. He upgraded our room and it was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and everything seemed very fresh.

Минусы: It was a bit of a walk from the restaurants we ate in but apart from that the place was perfect and great value for money

Плюсы: Beautiful riad in the medina. Within walking distance to all the sights, restaurants and shopping. Mohammed and Joel were very helpful during our stay. They responded quickly to our communication and organised a pick up and dinner on the day of our arrival.

Минусы: Wifi was slow.

Плюсы: Mohammed was fantastic and took really great care of us. He arranged for someone to pick us up from the airport and someone came to meet us at the taxi and walk us to the riad (the riad is not accessible by car but it is a short < 5 min walk). We were grrated with Moroccan tea and cookies on arrival. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat and even called ahead to let the restaurant owner know we were coming so he was already expecting us when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and the room had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Плюсы: The stuffs are really helpful and friendly! And the room is big and comfortable. Good value of money.

Минусы: The location is quite difficult to find.

Плюсы: Food is super-great. Definitely everybody coming to Morocco as a trip should have a meal here, especially Tajin, at once at least.

Плюсы: Reception staff were very friendly and over keen to assist. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Onsite bar with fab views of the city. Special thanks to staff member Mourad, at 3:30am realised passport was left in safe in room after check out, the room had been assigned to a newly wed couple! Flight at 5:20am so couldn't wait..Mourad was very kind in contacting the guests and getting the passport out of the safe. One would wonder why the cleaning staff didnt check the safe upon check out and I dont know what I personally would have done if I was in the room but Mourad handled the situation in his professional stride leaving everyone happy :))

Минусы: Breakfast till 10:30, arrived just after 10 to find hardly anything available. Probably could have asked, but didnt expect that I should.

Плюсы: Staff were excellent. We were upgraded & given our room early. Very helpful & considerate. Bar & restaurant staff exceptional. A wonderful stay & would highly recommend.

Минусы: На ужине обслуживают долго, заказали хамам, обслуживание не понравилось, небрежно, после хамама отдохнуть не получится!

Плюсы: I liked the layout of the room, it was very thought out. The hotel décor is beatuful and the service was good.

Плюсы: All staff except one lady at the reception (ref. ‘taxi’ experience) very nice, warm and welcoming. Great pool and décor, very good taste in all details.

Минусы: At check-out they refused to call a taxi for the airport and (in practice) imposed at double the official rates (published at the airport) their own private service, with excuses like: “We do not have the number for normal taxis” and/or “taxis do not go to the airport here” (well they could google up the phone number). Plus this unwelcoming lady at the reception added you must pre-book the service 2/3 hours in advance (next time I’ll call a taxi on my own). Anyways, I spent more than 7000 MAD, how can you ruin the very good impression you made over a 10€ difference?

Плюсы: The hotel is beautiful and stunning. The rooms are lovely and well thought through. By far the most organised, well built and well run place in all of Morocco. The staff are lovely and helpful and the food, especially the breakfast, is amazing. The pool is very nice as is the view from the roof top bar.

Минусы: The hotel and bars and restaurants within were very good but expensive. The hotel is also isolated and hard to walk to but they will arrange taxis for you.

Плюсы: The hotel is very attractive and stylish. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed with good linen. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good choice. The pool was lovely with comfortable sun loungers and long distance views. The hotel’s free shuttle service every hour to three parts of the centre of Fes was really convenient. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, though those in the Jungle Bar were a little disorganised at times. The menu in the Jungle Bar included a wide variety of tapas which were good quality. The option of eating a smaller amount in the evening was very welcome and it provided a change from more typical Moroccan food. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel highly.
