Hotel Posta Carretas

I have stayed in this hotel about 8 times over the last three years, usually only for one night as I pass through BA en route to Mendoza. It is comfortable, if a little dimly lit. The internet connection can be erratic. The buffet breakfast is fine for a hotel at this price. The staff are friendly and their English matches my Spanish more or less, so it works. Limos/taxis booked by the hotel arrive promptly and are reasonably priced. The price quoted by the hotel for these has always been what the driver has asked - a big plus in Argentina. May not suit the most fussy Americans, but fine for an oldish Brit. (I stayed two nights on this trip as I passed through BA so don't send me a second form!)

it was excellent. really. couldn´t expect the staff being so nice, getting out of their way to please the guests etc. great value for money. breakfast is good, the location is perfect

Helpful staff, decor of the hotel, comfortable room, very comfortable bed.

Our room faced onto the street and the noise from the street on Sunday night was loud, and frequent.

The room was fantastic, we had a living room with 3 piece suite, and a bedroom and a bathroom with jaccuzzi. Great breakfast too. Staff were friendly and helpful.
