Construction and Closures

The triple room was very clean and there was a bathtub! We stayed two nights and the room was cleaned and the beds were made while we were out for the day. The location was quiet (for the city) and we didn’t have any noisy neighbours.

The ensuite bathroom did not have a lock on the door, and the hallway leading to our room on the fourth floor often smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We visited in March 2020, when there was a large construction project going on right in front of the hotel. This, compared with the fact that the neighbouring botanical gardens were closed for winter, made it much more difficult to walk from the hotel to the nearest metro station, almost 20 minutes when it could have been 5. I know the hotel has no control over any of that, but I had booked it in part because the reviews said it was good for walking and it was not. If I had to choose again, I probably would have tried to get something closer to Grand Place.

A lot of nearby building work during my stay. No restaurant for evening meal.

Newly renovated and very clean. The towels had make-up stains in them but for the rest, everything was very clean.

The Heater/pump is very loud and it randomly turns off/on. It woke me up at night every time it started running and I don't wake easily.

Location, staff, room size

With the strong wind there was a bit of draft. However the blankets were warm enough.

Near railway station, but not in the best neighbourhood. Very quiet. The room was comfortable and of good size. The beds were small, but comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Look like it was smth wrong with breakfast, because in couple od hours after that I felt poisoned with all the symptoms. It was during a business conference, and it definitely was disaster. I ate nothing special that day, only omlet, becon, some pickles and fresh tomatoes, but it was my last food for that day, as I had terrible sickness.

This is a good value hotel within easy distance of the North station and town centre not too far. The room although on the first floor was quiet so good double glazing. there is hidden staircase so no need to wait for a lift to one floor. The breakfast is reasonable value and the taste is good. Due to the size of hotel any bigger selection and food would be wasted.

The area is being rebuilt, so lots of road works. The hotel is on the edge of North station sex area so slightly scary at night if you walk the wrong way, but better than in years past. There is a large ladder partly blocking the staircase, where else it could live I do not know. The two coffee machines in the breakfast area were different makes with no instructions,so a little confusing. The shower was difficult to operate.

Room was very clean and cozy.

When I took a shower, I was quite surprised because the temperature of the water changed suddenly.

We had a huge suite for 2 people - beds for 4, 2 TVs, a fridge & cooker - clean and modern. Location useful 10 minutes from Brussels North train station and Place Rogier transport hub.. Reception staff helpful.

Breakfast OK but not great - limited choice , weak juice and coffee, cold eggs - and overpriced. Travellers with heavy luggage or restricted mobility should be aware that the location is uphill through office construction sites and a rather seedy area and the hotel entrance is up steps, with a lift inside.

I would expect a minibar in the room for the given price. It can be noisy at night due to neighbors wandering around

Location: although it is good for working at the European Commission (5 min walk), there is nothing closer than that where to eat or shopping.

The hotel improperly charged three breakfasts, and we didnt have any breakfastp. They are robbing us. Unfriendly staff. The location is not very good.

Cheap, no fuss hotel. Close to city center and public transport.

The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms even more. Smelly street behind the window.

Room was neat and clean. Facilities are good.

The Reception lady's behaviour was very bad. No smile while welcoming. When asked for a charging adapter the lady rudely told that they dont have enough people and I will have to come on my own to get it. Overall very disappointed with the customer service.

New hotel with new and large rooms. Location is close to the train terminal, 10 min walking distance. Good bath and shower. Clean and spacious rooms.

My card was charged before arriving at the hotel, eventhough I opted for the option on booking.com to pay at the hotel in cash. So if that is something that you might have a problem with choose another hotel. The location was close to the train terminal but the area near the terminal was a little shaddy and the pedestrian roads were not good for rolling luggage.

Одновременно и плюс, и минус - близость к вокзалу Норд. Плюс в том, что удобно приехать и уехать на поезде, можно поездить по Бельгии. Минус - прилегающая к вокзалу территория - там не очень чисто и квартал красных фонарей. В номере нет холодильника.

Завтрак мог быть лучше. Сантехника требует ремонта. Отъезд до 11:00.

Близко к центру, достопримечательностям и от вокзала. Свежий ремонт внутри. Достаточно чисто, если не считать волос на полу и кровати.

Маленькая ванная комната, очень тяжело развернуться одному взрослому. Невозможно настроить нормально воду (то кипяток, то холодная). Не очень приятный район, много бездомных.
