Hotel Best Benalmadena

We found the Best Benalmadena comfortable and convenient for the purpose of our visit which was part business and part holiday.

During our short stay the weather was, for the time of year, very hot and we found the airconditioning in parts of the Hotel was totally ineffective, in particular the lifts and specifically our bedroom. We had the airconditioning control on its highest setting but it made little difference to the temperature in the room. There did not appear to be any airconditioning in the lifts.

nice location, rather at the end part of Benalmadena but we appreciated the quite, nice pool and garden and good food served at restaurant. good rate value

Aldough pool is small for high season when we booked it was not too crowded, people stated it was not worth the 4 stars, many noisy children in restaurant, but we are easy travellers and it did not disturb us, the beds could have been of more comfort

The room size was very adequate and general appearance of the hotel was good

As english speaking quests we found it very difficult to get served at any of the hotel bars, I communicated this issue to staff at the main hotel desk. In my opionion the hotel staff and administration were totally focused on spanish guests.There were other issues found during our stay that we found below power. In conclusion I found the hotel staff very dismissive.
