Плюсы: The view of Baños is excellent, it feels safe. The owners are really friendly people, willing to tell stories, the breakfast is good, with bread and jam made at the property and Ecuadorian coffee. The rooms are comfortable, is a great place to disconnect yourself from the city while still being close to it. I think is a great place for a family and adventurers.

Плюсы: The view of Baños is excellent, it feels safe. The owners are really friendly people, willing to tell stories, the breakfast is good, with bread and jam made at the property and Ecuadorian coffee. The rooms are comfortable, is a great place to disconnect yourself from the city while still being close to it. I think is a great place for a family and adventurers.
Минусы: While I was ok with it, there is a walk (around 10-15 minutes, going up the mountain) to reach the property, my mother didn't like that much (also, you have to plan around that, because you would not like to do this walk many times a day). Like I said, if you plan for this, it should be not an issue.

Отель напоминает музей, в качестве предметов декора используются уникальные антикварные вещи: старинные телефоны, швейные машинки, утюги, радиолы... поражает внимание в мелочам в оформлении. И конечно, море роз! Миллион разноцветных роз. Очень вкусный ресторан, прекрасное обслуживание. Хорошие номера, немного конечно, на любителя старины, но в целом неплохо. Единственный минус - это очень скрипучие кровати. Но это никак не влияет на общую оценку.

Плюсы: We stayed in the hotel for one night only, which was too short to enjoy the town and surroundings. The hotel was comfortable, the room was large, beds good, bathroom with hot water, WIFI was working properly. The hotel has a nice inner garden and the rooms are situated around it. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of fruits, muesli yoghurt etc. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us get a mountain bike directly, and also helped to get our car out of the private parking lot, where most of the space was blocked by another car. We drove on mountain bike to Rio Negro and visited Rio Verde and the Cascada El Pailón del diablo, which was super.

Плюсы: Very glad I chose to stay here in Baños. I did not want a party hostel, and this place was very chill, quiet, & relaxing. When I was there, the hostel wasn’t super social, mostly couples, but everyone was friendly. There is a SPA at this hostel- my massage was $25 for 60 minutes, and surprisingly good! The beds were clean, and very comfortable, with charging stations and lights at each bedside, as well as lockers. The bathrooms were very clean, and had hot showers with good water pressure (what a luxury in Ecuador!). Breakfast was nice; crepes, bread, some cheese & ham, coffee. WiFi was fast. I found the employees to be kind and helpful, and it was really lovely relaxing in the hammocks in the front garden. The location is a bit out of the center, but only a 10 minute walk from the heart of it all (yes-there is a hill involved, but it isn’t too bad!). As a solo female, this area felt quite safe to me, and a taxis are super cheap if you did not want to walk at night- a worthy trade off to avoid other hostels’ beer pong parties and night club noise!

Плюсы: The staff was exceptional. I had made a mistake in our booking and the receptionist, can’t recall his name was super helpful in fixing my confusion with the booking/reservation. He couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful. He made us feel at home. The next day we had booked an excursion with another company and he helped us when we were having some trouble getting them to pick us up. Wish I had known they offer the same tours. Breakfast was delicious even my picky teens loved the breakfast and asked for seconds!!!!

Плюсы: We were given a queen room when we'd booked a double - the massive bed was great, and really comfortable. The room decor was nice too. The swing chairs outside the room were great to chill in. The shower had hot water and the room was cleaned every day (unless we declined). The bar area is great and always stocked (unlike some hostels that claim to have a bar, but basically have a fridge with some beers!). There were cakes and cookies available to buy, as well as cooked food options. The free dinners Mon - Weds were basic, but nice (and free!). There's also a pool table, good for a game on a lazy afternoon. The seating area outside is comfortable and has plenty of comfortable chairs and hammocks to relax in. Overall a really nice hostel and great value. One of the best we've stayed in in 4 months in South America. Also Baños is lovely.

Плюсы: Everything was great. Clean, safe, close to the plaza. Free breakfast and free dinner 3 nights a week.
Минусы: They want you to book tours through them and they will tell you it’s cheaper but they keep money for themselves. You can get better prices outside. Also there weren’t plugs near the top bunks so if you’re up there there is no place to charge your phone.

Плюсы: We were given a queen room when we'd booked a double - the massive bed was great, and really comfortable. The room decor was nice too. The swing chairs outside the room were great to chill in. The shower had hot water and the room was cleaned every day (unless we declined). The bar area is great and always stocked (unlike some hostels that claim to have a bar, but basically have a fridge with some beers!). There were cakes and cookies available to buy, as well as cooked food options. The free dinners Mon - Weds were basic, but nice (and free!). There's also a pool table, good for a game on a lazy afternoon. The seating area outside is comfortable and has plenty of comfortable chairs and hammocks to relax in. Overall a really nice hostel and great value. One of the best we've stayed in in 4 months in South America. Also Baños is lovely.
Минусы: A few minor niggles in the room - the light was a bit dodgy flickering on and off at times, and the plug sockets positioned behind the bed were a bit fiddly. Other than that, this place was superb.

We never got the welcome cocktail upon arrival and every time we asked fo something he made it see like he was doing us a favor. I understand it was 10 pm but his attitude was uncalled for.We upgraded to a better room even though the original room we payed for was already more. The upgraded room was filthy, stains on the bed and the bed board, had a decent view to the pool. The breakfast wasnt bad and neither was the concierge during the morning.

Минусы: My hotel room was dated and it smelled like mildew. My bathroom was funky too. Brown tiled-floors and yellow wall-paper, sink, toilet, and shower. For over $100 a night, I expected a lot more from this hotel in Baños. the spa facilities were dated. their advertisement did not match the actual hotel. The walls were paper-thin. This is no luxury spa/hotel! I hate writing negative reviews about businesses but this was a rip-off.

Минусы: Room is more or less OK to stay for 1 night, but it was too expensive for what it was. Breakfast should be improved: the way it is served (slow, nobody explains how it works, all tables were full of dirty dishes, so we have started to clean the table by ourselves and search for clean dishes) and, of course, the food itself - poor offer and the fruits were in a bad condition. When we have check-in there was only 1 towel, despite the reservation was for 2 people and they said it was the last room. Initially there was no apologies, just some explanations. Kindly note, that if there is a mistake from the hotel side, the apology should be the first thing.
