I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew."

I was told that I would receive a certain amount for every hour I was delayed from my original arrival at end destination. Well I arrived 8 or more hours after I had originally expected (and the reason I booked with Swiss Air was because of the timing and the apparent luxury of the flight). Once I got back home and tried to pursue this amazing compensation I received some of the worst customer service ever and received 0 compensation for the experience. Very disappointed and will never fly swiss airlines again."

This caused me to miss onnnection flight. There was very poor information or guidance by staff once we arrived into airport. I had to walk long long distances from the gate without assistance. I had requested wheelchair assistance considering I just had spinal cord surgery and In need of assistance. I was forced to stay over night in Istanbul and waited over 12 hours next day in airport for next available flight to Thessaloniki. I missed my brothers wedding night and could not be his best man for wedding from ordeal which was not fair! I also payed a premium price close to 1000k USA dollars for flight I could of booked many tickets with such a long layover and extra expenses buying a visa and food for half the fare I payed. This was not fair especially when a plane is diverted for medical emergency! To top it all off being a medical doctor I loaned and assisted staff with passenger and offered my consultation. services to emergency medical physician whom was called by crew for help and finally which reccomended to divert flight to Manchester to assist the passenger In crisis! There are lots of open source options and I can help you, if it gets confusing. Or, alternatively, allow users to type their city with a keyboard. Scrolling through every city in the state of California is not easier than typing Los Angeles. Especially when arriving at Los Gatos and thinking “wait... did I miss it?” That’s not the only thing wrong with your website, but start here. Look Turkish airlines is wonderful, I’m just saying that it was hell actually buying a ticket and signing up for your rewards program."

It all went smoothly and fortunately I had allowed extra time after I arrived ... no problems. And the people who handled your baggage claims were professional."

Видеосистема отличная - экран крупный, изображение качественное, наушники удобные. Фильмы, правда, только на турецком и английском. Посадка в Тайване была очень мягкая."

Минусы: "Гейты 300-312, с которых идет посадка на Тбилиси – как колхозное поле. Просто все и всё на куче: очереди на посадку в перемешку с креслами для ожидания, магазинами. Внятных проходов просто нет. При этом 200-е и 700-е гейты у них очень удобно оборудованы. По расписанию посадка не началась. Вместо начала посадки один из сотрудников начал ходить среди толпы пассажиров и сверять паспорта с посадочными. Если все ок, то ставил штампик на посадочный. Приятно, конечно, что позаботились об экономии времени на проверку. Но организация процесса шокирует :) В самолете поддерживали температуру холодильника. Попросил стюардессу добавить тепла - покивала и поулыбалась, но теплее не стало. Реально пришлось в верхней одежде сидеть."

With the amount of money given to the flight they could have paid attention to it more. Happily they said that they did do celebrate birthdays and anniversarys. Sadly though nothing was done. Overall was it horrible I would say no but they are starting to loose quality"

Минусы: "First of all the staff needs to work on their customers service. The flight was 1 hour and 45 min late and I had another flight to get in Istanbul to get to my final destination. I almost did not make it. The staff never gave us an explanation about what happened at the JFK I flew for 10 hours scared and stressed out. I asked the staff if it was possible at the time of landing to get out with the business class or somehow to get out before everybody else, but they were completely useless. Also in the middle of the flight a woman started feeling very bad. She had an intense migraine because of the high pressure, clearly the woman was not used to fly very often. The poor woman was ill and the entire crew was surrounding her. 7 ppl standing in the way of customers, a male attendant touched my shoulder with his private parts at least 5 times. Also every time they passed by the would hurt my shoulder or my arm with out even apologize. What kind of customer service is this? Forgetting about all the other passengers? Creating a situation of panick just because of how unprofessional they are? You can be the most comfortable or cheapest airline company and add all the luggage and food you want but if your crew doesn't know anything in customer service the customer will fly with a different company next time!"

Alone with that, the height of the bassinet makes it easy for the kid to get distracted. WORSE PART: Our daughter couldn't get comfortable to sleep and got fussy, so I took her for a walk which didn't help much. Since it was bedtime 11pm with 0 to little traffic, and to avoid her crying from disturbing everyone I resorted to one of the bathrooms with her. She did fall asleep for about 1 hour until one the FA came literally BANGING on the door. Very rude even after I calmly explained the situation. So sorry for such people with no compassion nor understanding in their hearts."

Плюсы: "Great crew, smooth boarding. The dinner was fine, salmon on rice, salad, cheese and desert, of good quality when compared to typical airline food. The breakfast was ok, fruit, muffin and ok cereal bar, too carb-heavy though. The entertainment offered my options. I particularely enjoyed the "Deep-Sleep" relaxation audios which indeed helped me to get some shut-eye during the overnight flight that left the East Coast late afternoon."
Минусы: "The comfort in the economy class is mediocre at best. We had more space on the inner-German connection, see next review, than the international flight. The beverage service was skimpy. Flight arrived Dusseldorf on time and then spend 20 minutes on the ground, waiting for a gate, resulting in a scramble to reach our connection."

Минусы: "Сотрудники в аэропортах. На регистрацию в аэропорт Денвера мы приехали за три часа. На паспортный контроль попали за 30 минут!!!! Очередь огромная, сотрудники бегают от стойки к стойке. Разговаривают очень грубо, что само по себе для Америки непривычно. Одного пассажира обслуживают в среднем 20 минут(!!!) То забирают багаж, то возвращают багаж - отвлекаются на возврат сразу все. Рейс задержали на полтора часа. Об этом мы узнали на стойке регистрации. На стыковочный рейс мы опоздали, поэтому попросили сотрудников сразу определить наши дальнейшие действия. Парень на стойке очень в грубой форме сказал - прилетите в Мюнхен, там подойдете в сервис. Когда прилетели в Мюнхен оказалось, что сервис не работает. Бегали по всему аэропорту. Потом подождали на одном из рейсов Люфтганзы не закончилась регистрация. Попросили сотрудника ( по английски не говорит, только по немецки!!!!) решить наш вопрос. Она с кем-то созвонилась нас отправили на другой рейс в другой терминал на поезде и автобусе (Просили ведь сопровождение в Денвере- нам грубо отказали). В итоге багаж - потеряли. Отправили во Франкфурт вместо Москвы!!! Багаж ждали три дня."

The crew member instead insisted that ”you should've brought your own food” not once but twice. No courtesy nothing. I was super disappointed. I fly a lot and this was hands down my worst flight. Also, the aircraft and seats were terribly uncomfortable (Boeing 747-8 Economy). Boarding took forever as well. Overall a very shocking experience from a very experienced airline otherwise."

I was given no help in making my connecting flight. I had to queue up for border control. I had to go up and down numerous escalators. I was stopped by a policeman asking for papers which I had already given to border control. I had to take a train and change terminals. My connecting flight was departing from the farthest gate possible in the terminal. I was running the entire time, and I barely made it. Had I not been running, I would have missed my connection."
Минусы: "The ticketing when purchasing a ticket from NEW YORK is very unclear and even though we wanted a JFK ticket, the NEW YORK search showed a ticket for NEWARK NJ so my step dad ended up going to the JFK airport - An elderly man who has trouble with English and no one was willing to help him to rebook his ticket. Not only that - the Lufthansa people VOIDED his entire ticket including the second leg because the agency wasn't picking up for a rebooking so the entire ticket cost was lost - $1200 - GONE! We couldn't even get him a one way ticket so he could use the return part of the one he bought. This is an absolute customer service disaster. This man lost all his money, he saves up all year to go see his family. That's an ugly way to take advantage of people."

This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

We were surprised that we were served a dinner right after we took off, but the hot entree was bad, so we ended up asking the flight attendant bring us more bread so we filled up on that."

Flight happened to be late so I missed my connection, and they offered some more misinformation in that regard; There were of course human beings (staff) to deal with, but they had been reduced by Lufthansa's rules and systems so they were just robots, repeating over and over again inflexible policies. Poor communication to the passengers and then poor communication or help from the airline. If they would’ve waited 15 minutes, 60 people could’ve made their connection. Instead we have to wait 6-7 hours to board another flight. The customer service at the Moscow airport was sad... only two people at the desk for 60+ customers needing new flights because of their unexplained late departure."

Бортовых развлечений никаких, даже маршрута на мониторах. Но основной трэш начался по прилету в аэропорт. Самолет несколько раз переезжал с места на место. Из разговора по телефону соседнего пассажира узнал, что посадили в другом терминале. Объявить об этом никто не удосужился. Наконец, подогнали трап и высадили в чистом поле. Посадили в автобус и повезли вокруг всего Шереметьево. В итоге задержка примерно на 1ч 40 мин без всяких комментариев и извинений. Не летайте самолетами аэрофлота!"

But the worst part was that my luggage went missing. After it was found nobody let me know so it was just sitting there for three days before I could get a hold of someone. And then after multiple calls they finally said it would take another 5 days to be delivered 200 miles. So I ended up having to go get it myself. Not as much as an apology from them. Aeroflot is absolute garbage. Stay away from them."

В аэрофлоте все по старому. И всего 2 стойки регистрации. Очередь - на час!!! И это была ЕДИНСТВЕННАЯ очередь во всем аэропорту. На борту еще хуже. Мы специально зарезервировали место у окна. Так вот, окна не было. Вообще. Глухая стена. В первый рас такое вижу. Полет испорчен :(("
Плюсы: "Everything about this direct flight from JFK to Moscow was excellent. Boarding went very smoothly as they were strict about loading from the back to the front of the plane. Anyone who tried to circumvent this was sent back to their line. The food was not memorable but perfectly fine and we got 2 full meals— dinner and breakfast— plus several beverage services and a snack. The entertainment interface works well, although they could offer more movies and tv series for sure. The seats are very comfortable and have decent leg room—although I am only 5’2. The crew was exceptionally professional and pleasant. The bathrooms are larger than standard and they offer disposable toothbrushes. Some of my friends made jokes about our flying Aeroflot, but their perceptions are clearly outdated. This is a very good airline from this flight experience. I hope it holds up on our return."
Минусы: "Maybe they could offer more viewing options on their entertainment menu."
Минусы: "7 часов лету. Кормят 1 раз, примерно через час после взлета. А потом за 6 часов только воду предлагали. Раньше (несколько лет назад) кормили на рейсах в 6 часов и более 2 раза. Хоть-бы чай с бутербродом дали."
Плюсы: "Вылет и прилет по расписанию. Самолет достаточно новый. Бортпроводницы приветливые, хорошо выполняют свои обязанности."
Минусы: "Очень узкие расстояния между рядами. Нет никакой ни ТВ, ни аудио программы. И это для рейса свыше 4 часов!"
Минусы: "Hostesses are so rude. They should go to school or a training program to learn how work politely and nicely"
Минусы: "Питание скудное. кроме того кормят мясом настойчиво. хотя я отметил что вегетарианец"
Минусы: "I booked my tirkcet online - and when I happily got to the airport and tried to check in - AEROFLOT personnel saw my reservation but actually ticket wasn't issued - so I was standing there with all my luggage and no ticket. already spent money on taxi cabs etc all I could do was to buy ANOTHER over expensive ticket - with loads of stress. when I landed in russia I received a cancellation notice from Flight Network. this is unacceptable and I am very disappointed that I have to spend so much extra money in the end and wasted so much of my nerves and time!"
Минусы: "Я не ем мясо. Кратное количество раз отмечал в Аэрофлоте при покупке билетов, в Аэрофлот бонусе этот момент. Но компания игнорирует мои предпочтения и упрямо приносит мне мясо. Кроме того, люди прилетают из жаркой страны в прохладную Россию. Они чаще всего одеты не по погоде. Аэрофлот постоянно такие самолёты отставляет к лесу, потом все пассажиры долго мёрзнут в автобусе, долго едут через всё взлётное поле, а потом так же долго ждут багаж. - Сказочный русский маразм! Как раз в этот же день летел лоукостером Меридиана. Уровень примерно такой же. Только там нас к трапу подвезли. Аэрофлот экономит не на тех вещах. Ошибочный менеджмент. Отстойная зажравшаяся дешевая компашка. Стыдно."

Минусы: "Next flight I'm gonna pay extra for extra leg room, felt like a tuna fish in a fish can"
Минусы: "My flight got cancelled. We waited 2 hours inside of the plane and waited on a line at the register for another 5 hours. Horrible service from the airline. I was not willing to fly with them anymore."
Плюсы: "Was able to make a change to an earlier flight and pretty much slept the whole way. And the flight was New York to Moscow. No problem at all."
Минусы: "Уже в Самаре несколько лет не используют аэродромные автобусы-скотовозы, но "передовой" а/п Шереметьево - круглосуточно... Осталось ещё новую полосу запустить и скотовоз станет единственным вариантом для "нового советского человека"."
Плюсы: "Вполне удобные кресла и расстояние для ног."
Минусы: "Прилететь без багажа в зиму, теперь придется покупать все вещи заново! Кто мне возместит траты на зимние вещи и в чем нам ходить ?! Да и лететь не 10.30 часов , а 12 было утомительно , а никаких прикольных не было дополнительно предоставлено, хотя бы для детей...ну и потом вся эта бумажная волокита в аэропорту, почти сутки потратили на прибытие из Хошимина в Москву."
Плюсы: "the crew was very good but the food was very bad frozen can't eat it is will never fligh again with this flight"
Минусы: "Посадку начали с опозданием. В бизнес-зале посадку не объявили вообще. Успели чудом. Сидели на space + в экономе, но ручную кладь смогли положить только в хвосте. Хотя бизнес был пустой, и положить туда можно было легко. Весь полет температура в салоне была выше 30 градусов. Неоднократные просьбы сделать что-то не помогли."
Плюсы: "Very professional and friendly crew. Great flight, great pilots."
Минусы: "Lunch quality (second meal)"
Минусы: "Иногда рядом родители с маленькими детьми летят. Это обычно ужасно для всех и для детей тоже. Не уверен что младенцы запомнят что-нибудь в Тайланде"
Плюсы: "Отличное обслуживание (летел комфорт-классом), вкусно кормили. Понравилась мягкая посадка."
Минусы: "Рейс задержали на 17 часов по погодным условиям. Перед самолетом долго держали в автобусе. Я ожидал, что в комфорт-классе кресло будет удобнее. С моим ростом (193) было так себе -хотя гораздо лучше эконома"
Плюсы: "Экипаж старался сгладить опоздание, командир честно сказал о поломке. Никакого там вокруг да около"
Минусы: "Конечно, факт опоздания на 4 часа не радует, но что поделаешь, безопасность важнее"
Плюсы: "Some of the typical premium economy features in the economy class - like the slippers and eye masks, open snack bar, ice cream between meals, menu for meals."
Минусы: "Limited choice in alcohol. No whiskey. No healthy options in snack bar."
