Потом подождали на одном из рейсов Люфтганзы не закончилась регистрация. Попросили сотрудника ( по английски не говорит, только по немецки!!!!) решить наш вопрос. Она с кем-то созвонилась нас отправили на другой рейс в другой терминал на поезде и автобусе (Просили ведь сопровождение в Денвере- нам грубо отказали). В итоге багаж - потеряли. Отправили во Франкфурт вместо Москвы!!! Багаж ждали три дня."

Минусы: "We arrived for our flight 1 hour before the flight. They told us we were late then forced us to check one of our carryons because it weighed over 8 KG. (not too big just weighed too much) and was not a problem carrying on other flight. 10 Euros. We arrived at the gate 30 minutes before take-off and they had not started boarding yet. We were then pulled out of the boarding line and told that we had to pay a late fee of 60 Euros each because we were late. 180 Euros! We had to go back to the cashier counter in the ticket terminal to pay and then again go through customs/passport and transit screening. We still made it back to the gate in time to board and leave by departure time. We then waited for passengers from another connecting flight to arrive and board so we then left about 30 minutes late. Then the air conditioning was broken to we fumed in 90 degree heat all the way to St. Petersburg."

Due to customs we made it to our plane 30 Minutes before departure (8:52 for a 9:30 departure we were at the gate looking at our plane). Half the reason we were delayed is because not only did we have to pick up our bags and clear customs but we then had to recheck them, not a problem except for the fact that NO BODY WAS AT THE TICKET COUNTER. So Frankfurt airport was gracious enough to let us back through customs with our checked bags (after collecting them in baggage claim). When we showed up they wouldn't let us on the plane and charged us 350 dollar rebooking fee to leave the next day at 3 pm. it only gets worse as no one helped us to rebook, we had to call a number then then had us write an email to the company. I am still beside my self on how terrible of an experience this was as we had to do all of this calling from the Frankfurt airport because no one would help us in person (using skype)."

I explained repeatedly that I am only transiting through Moscow and am not leaving the secured airport area. Still, they did not allow me to board the plane. I had to cancel the flight and buy a new ticket from a different airline that did not transit through Moscow. Kayak and Belavia must tell the passenger prior to ticket purchase that if the flight goes out trough Moscow a Russian visa is required. in my case, they never told me this until I arrived in the airport to board the plane. A terrible experience."

Almost missed the flight and it was delayed because of the 5-6 of us that were in the same predicament. Air Moldova, you guys need to change your ways."

I did get a different booking when I called and requested it, but it turned a 9-hour travel day into a 24-hour travel; I only did not lose money because ItaliaRail was flexible with me and my hotel in my final destination allowed me a very late check-in. I did not like that Air Moldova did not contact me - my online booking source notified me of the change, not Air Moldova."

Минусы: "The flight was canceled due to mechanical difficulties and British airways delayed helping us for 2 hours and then told us to use the phone 800 number to book a different flight. we needed to connect in London for the flight to Tel Aviv. The man on the phone barely spoke English and set us up with a flight that would not get us to our destination in time for our religious Sabbath Friday night. When we tried to explain the situation he hung up on us. We called back and tried to explain again we either spoke to the same man or another Indian man whom also spoke unintelligible English and he also hung up on us. In the mean time my wife spoke with the counter agents and they tried to find us another flight but by now other airline counters were closed. An hour later I tried the 800 number again and spoke again with the same Indian guy, when I asked to speak to a manager he gave me a hard time then finally said ok, put me on hold which I stayed for a while and realized he just put me on hold indefinitely. Finally after being in the airport for 9 hours we found a flight from United and a family member booked it online for us which we took to Tel Aviv and got us here only 2 hours later than our original flight which had a 12 hour layover in London and we were going to spend time touring but did not get to. As far as I am concerned British Airways has done a horrible job and no one should ever fly with them again. Unfortunately our flight home is with them I hope it goes smooth."

Lufthansa and Virgin do so much of a better job with overall staff on the ground."
