Today when we should have trip back to USA, SWISS company said what ticket for my son do not exsist. And I spent for new ticket 220000 rubles about $3600. Nobody in SWISS company do not said me what my tocket for son canceled. I am shoked !!!"

I was fortunate to be able to move from my center seat to an aisle seat once the flight was in progress. As soon as I did, the air around me was cooler and made for more comfortable breathing. In the center seat, the air was still and close—very uncomfortable. Poor communication regarding passport control protocol at the departure gate: A temporary station was set up, labeled Passport Control, but no SWISS agent announced what was happening. I had just gone through a passport control line on a lower level so I didn't think I had to go through a similar process at the gate. Most people around me also didn't know whether they had to go through the process at the gate. Once agents had been questioned on the subject several times, they should have made a general announcement to inform everyone at the gate. They did not. The food on the plane was the usual poor quality fare for economy class—either highly processed or overcooked and much too salty. Ugh."

When we reached our gate, we then waited in a long line to have our passports and boarding passes checked again. There were several Swissair crew members, but only one person to check all of the paperwork for economy. Then another long line to show our boarding passes again, while the business class entrance remained unused. Swissair needs someone to manage this better."

The passenger in front of me pushed her seat back and it seemed as though she was righ in my face. She could not go upright as the person in front of her was pushed all the way back. This situation also makes eating difficult. The flight yesterday was extremely warm, which I had not experienced on my three former flights. I guess I will try your airlines once more and see how it is for a third trip."

When i got through they then said something was wrong with my ticket in which they took it and I was pulled out of the line. they should try to the ticket check and the boarding line at the same time"

Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

"The flight yesterday on 7/14/2011 was canceled. We haven’t received any notifications of the cancellation. My elderly mom had to sit in the excruciatingly hot Domodedovo airport, without any working conditioners with the temperature inside of the airport nearing 30 C, for more than 24 hours. She was afraid to get up to go to the bathroom, because she was afraid she will loose her sit at the airport. After my mom was informed that her flight was canceled, she asked, what she supposed to do now and where she should go, where would she sleep. She was told by Lufthansa representatives that it is non of their business and she can do whatever she wants. No food vouchers, nor hotel accommodations were offered to my elderly mom. My mom had to pay extra money and get another COVID test because the one she had was expiring on 7/14/2021. Nobody even cares that she has been vaccinated here in USA and has her vaccinations voutcher with her. It is horrendous, what is happening right now!!!!!! Not only my mom became a victim of shooting at her Kingsooper’s store in USA, she couldn’t even return back home to USA in a comfortable, human way after the trip that where supposed to take my mom’s mind off of the shooting at her store. Instead it is causing now enormous anxiety and fear. I am praying that tomorrow she will return back home to USA and non of her flights will be canceled again!"

Плюсы: "Easily the most comfortable I've ever been in TATL economy. Lufthansa's 747-8 is set up strangely: the main deck is arranged First - Business - Economy - Prem. Economy - Economy. This means that if you can book a seat in the forward economy mini-cabin, you get dedicated cabin crew, no other passengers walking through your space to get to the bathroom, plenty of bin space, and – best of all – a lot of aisle space to stretch your legs. Row 16 aisle seats are especially good, as the bulkhead between J and Y doesn't extend all the way, and therefore you can stretch your feet out. Food was actually excellent (for economy), hot and flavorful and generous, with snacks available mid-flight. Beverages also tops – gotta love Lufthansa for offering Campari (!) and more than one wine choice."

Boarding and transit security in Frankfurt was anxiety-inducing – between getting to the US departures area and additional screening, it took more than an hour from deplaning to getting in line. Boarding w/o group numbers was an exercise in patience. And the terminal wifi is so spotty!"

Питание в 10 часовом рейсе было замечательным. все быстро раздавали и убирали. Еда была вкусной. Пилоты тоже очень профессиональные рейс прошел без толчков. спокойно . Спать было комфортно. Никаких очередей в туалет не было. В самолете все было замечательно."
Минусы: "Сотрудники в аэропортах. На регистрацию в аэропорт Денвера мы приехали за три часа. На паспортный контроль попали за 30 минут!!!! Очередь огромная, сотрудники бегают от стойки к стойке. Разговаривают очень грубо, что само по себе для Америки непривычно. Одного пассажира обслуживают в среднем 20 минут(!!!) То забирают багаж, то возвращают багаж - отвлекаются на возврат сразу все. Рейс задержали на полтора часа. Об этом мы узнали на стойке регистрации. На стыковочный рейс мы опоздали, поэтому попросили сотрудников сразу определить наши дальнейшие действия. Парень на стойке очень в грубой форме сказал - прилетите в Мюнхен, там подойдете в сервис. Когда прилетели в Мюнхен оказалось, что сервис не работает. Бегали по всему аэропорту. Потом подождали на одном из рейсов Люфтганзы не закончилась регистрация. Попросили сотрудника ( по английски не говорит, только по немецки!!!!) решить наш вопрос. Она с кем-то созвонилась нас отправили на другой рейс в другой терминал на поезде и автобусе (Просили ведь сопровождение в Денвере- нам грубо отказали). В итоге багаж - потеряли. Отправили во Франкфурт вместо Москвы!!! Багаж ждали три дня."

There were bouts of turbulence but the pilot immediately changed altitudes to steer away from it. Flying on the 748 is a pleasure and it's a shame these great planes will eventually all be phased out in favor of more fuel efficient 787s and their Airbus counterparts."

I think for the price of the ticket and lower gasoline costs compared to the height of the recession this is simply outrageous. Next time I'll pay for economy plus. You get a seat that is wider than economy but a little bit less legroom than a business one and the second baggage is included. The meal was nothing special but the friendliness of the flight attendants made up for it."

Минусы: "I was actually upgraded to Business Class through a LH miles award, however, that upgrade was not honored, despite the fact that I had a confirmation email from them. I had to first get to Frankfurt to even negotiate this problem. At the departure point, LH was unable to furnish me a boarding pass to my NY flight. After racing though the huge airport at max speed to make this connection, I was treated rudely at the gate in Frankfurt by LH short tempered ground staff, to the point of even being accused of being the source of the problem and being late for boarding (when I was only accorded an hour connection through this booking, and raised this concern with LH prior). Lastly, the ground crew took away my connecting flight boarding pass and nearly forgot to give me back my luggage tag. The flight crew was Ok, but just did a bare minimum to keep up with the packed and overbooked flight. To top of the joy, I got food poisoning after landing in NYC - not all food they serve was in sealed containers, and it must have been enough to cause a day of misery that followed my arrival - I can assure you that the late time and taxing and docking delays in NYC took away any opportunity to have a normal dinner, and LH food was all I had all day... Not the usual LH experience, but I may give them a break for the next few trips."

At one point she rushed along the aisle to the front of the plain, bumping and hurting my shoulder, but did not bother to apologize. In front of me, was a mother with a child with special needs. The mother had to stand up for some time to have the child curl up and lie in a comfortable position - the attendant rudely commanded her to sit down and strap the child to the seat, instead of finding out how they could help. She could have achieved it with a better attitude and choice of words. The crew did not bother beyond the bare minimum - it was painful to observe."

An announcement cited technical difficulties with the originally scheduled plane. Several small groups we recognized from embarkation on this LH400 flight filed lost luggage claims, as we did. Uncharacteristically bad planning by LH on food choices left our rows near the front of Economy without a choice of meals: only pasta, tasty though it was, was available. The chicken option was gone. The flight status video program function did not work for anybody near us despite three equipment restarts by the crew."

Their first flight (LH#1425) from Tirana to Frankfurt was 45 minutes late causing them to eventually miss their connecting flight. At this point, the passengers were asked to show their passports, separating the US citizens from the rest. All the US citizens were loaded on a bus and provided hotel, dinner and breakfast. The Albanian citizens were moved to the lower level of the airport where they were left to freeze all night. Some of the passengers were elderly and had their heart or high blood pressure medications in their luggage that they didn’t have access to. One US-Albanian citizen was asked to separate from his Green-Card holder wife in order to receive the US citizen treatment…"

This caused me to have to throw my suitcase away because I couldn’t make it to my connecting flight in time. Worst travel experience ever"

I received a call from the courier when I was out. Overall, atrocious customer service from BA"

The temperature was extremely variable and when my seat mates who did not speak English very well tried to flag a flight attendant down to get an extra blanket, the flight attendants actively ignored them, so I hit my assistance button and my light went on, then after some time it went off again without our being helped so I hit it again about 10 minutes later and my light went on again but was again ignored. Then the attendants started selling things from the flight magazine and looked the other way as they went by my hopeful beacon. When they finally did get to me, I got a curt "I'll see if there is anything I can do" and she went off, returning 5 minutes later with one blanket when there were two people. Later on I saw her give blankets to others, and I found that strange."

By that time, it was past 11;30pm and everyone was dead tired, when the flight had been supposed to land at 7:25pm. I think the blame is to be laid on the JFK installations. Everywhere I travel in Europe, airports are in brand new condition, and not only departure areas like in the US. No wonder baggage delivery was a mess after just a little snow/"

It was a huge issue but eventually it was sorted. Not knowing if you will be able to get back to your county or not is a very stressful experience. Wish i could get my $550.00 back. I was made number 12 on standby for this LON-NYC flight, which I did not appreciate."

Мой багаж отправили на детальный осмотр, как потом оказалось, из-за обычного ноутбука. Передо мной сотрудница то ли таможни, то ли пограничница, изучала багаж такого же человека 20 минут, и по мере моих просьб только замедляла скорость. На мои просьбы о том, что началась регистрация на рейс, что осталось 25, 20 и в итоге 10 минут до вылета !!!!она ответила только: «Не мешайте мне делать мою работу». Дети мои пережили мамин стрес и наблюдали мои отчаянные попытки взять себя в руки. Рядом в истерике билась ещё одна такая же, как я. За 10 минут до вылета нас, наконец, пропустили, стараниями ее коллеги, который меня пожалел. все это время мы бежали к нашему Гейту, который оказался в другом конце терминала. Это был адский ад. Сам полет был вполне хорош, если не считать того, что по прилету в Киев мы не досчитались чемодана младшей Ани, его потеряли на пересадке в Мюнхене. Слава Богу, сообщили только что, что вроде нашёлся, прилетит на следующий день, ждём. 2018 год для нас начался с большого стресса!"

She was downright rude to me, and not a second later was overly courteous to the old, white male sitting in front of me. Also, they were really secretive about offering free drinks. Miserly a**holes didn't want to announce it so when I ordered a vodka they quietly told me it was free. So quietly in fact, that not even my wife sitting next to me heard it."

Плюсы: "I was upgraded to an economy plus seat, which was very comfortable. I often fly late at night and find it difficult to sleep on the plane, but in my upgraded seat I was asleep within minutes of take off!"
Минусы: "I had some difficulty when checking my bag and did not find the additional services agent particularly helpful. All ended well, however. I also would have preferred a headrest screen rather than personal device entertainment, but did appreciate the option to watch a movie."

Минусы: "there was absolutely no notfication that we were flying with ANA! I understand the flight was booked with united and you guys are part of the star partnership thing or whatever but it made finding out where to check in very stressful and time consuming! Stop overbooking your flights!"
Минусы: "We had confirmed reservations to go visit my daughter and son in law in Nashville. We had purchased tickets to see a concert in Nashville. We missed the concert and a full day of planned activities. We were bumped off the flight although we had confirmed reservations. So we decided to drive and incurred hotel charges. We will be driving back home and will incur hotel charges on the way home. We had to pay for gas and wear and tear on our car. This has been an awful experience."

Минусы: "Check in reservation clerk really hassled me when checking in when she saw the reservation under my name was spelled wrong. She acted as if I was NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO BOARD!! I did not make the error! They had my Date of birth, my service dog traveling with me, and still were acting like they weren't going to check me in! Extremely stressful!!"

Плюсы: "No wi fi for this flight, I get it that it's a small plane on a short journey but I really miss it when it is not there. My food assessment is just based on the free snacks as I didn't buy any food but the classic peanuts would be better than the snack mix provided. The crew I feel for as they, I am sure, felt the stress of the flight being late to get in (and thus causing the other flights of that particular plane to be behind). The free sandwiches offered by SFO as an apology were a good thought but no substitute for timely delivery. Not a nock on SFO just an unfortunate circumstance."

Минусы: "Our flight got canceled due to airport issues at our destination. United canceled the flight but had no alternative flights to get us home. Flights the next day were full. Took over an hour with the service desk to reroute tickets to cancel them and to get bags back then took two hours at baggage claim to get the bags back. Customer service was basically useless. After all that, we didn't get any of our money back! I will be avoiding United airlines. Flight cancelation was not their fault but the way they handled the rest of it was embarrassing."
