Called SWISS customer service on a Russian line, were told to get a paper from another Russian airport that no flights were leaving the city. Did that. when arrived to Moscow no SWISS customer representatives were at the stations and had to end up buying a completely new ticket to get home."

The bathrooms did not have warm water and the sense of comfort is to be found only in business and first class. We fly to Zurich a lot because we have family there and we always take SWISS for a direct flight. They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. Sorry SWISS."

Not a lot but since we were just sitting it was enough food. We had to stop for a meal on the way home from the airport."

There is little leg room and the cushioning is not enough for a long distance flight. There is no boarding control. People just line up and get on the plane in any order."

Entertainment system did not work, and after 4 requests for assistance to different crew members finally gave up asking and so had no entertainment for whole of flight. The last of the crew members suggested that an alternative seat or a future flight voucher could be given, but neither of these materialized. Food mediocre, and crew polite, but some not particularly friendly."

This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

From Chicago I used my ticket and say SWISS staff what my son will have trip only from Moscow. I paid for 2 tickets around $1700. Today when we should have trip back to USA, SWISS company said what ticket for my son do not exsist. And I spent for new ticket 220000 rubles about $3600. Nobody in SWISS company do not said me what my tocket for son canceled. I am shoked !!!"

When at the end of the flight, the issue was pointed out to the captain and supervising flight attendant, both became aggressively defensive to the point of being rude."

After a long while it started working again. It was a long flight to not have entertainment the whole duration of the flight. Besides this little problem it was a very good flight. The seats were as roomy as coach gets, but comfortable, reclining further than Delta or AA in my opinion. The food, drinks and snacks never stopped and were tasty!! Including a delicious Swiss chocolate a the end of your flight! They were so attentive! The attendants were all kind and polite. In fact, we had someone sit in front of us on our flight home who culturally didn't bath/wear deodorant and VERY malodorous and we asked the flight attendant if we could move. As soon as everyone boarded and she found two open seats for us, she moved us right before take off and we had a wonderful, great-smelling 10.5 hour flight!! LOL"

That was only the reason i chose this airline. When i ask about my lifemiles the answer was that my class of ticket didnt get any lifemile. I felt cheated. You should put it somewhere visibly so the person knows before booking. If i knew it before i never chose this airline."

"I choose Lufthansa cause it’s a good airline with great quality but this one was soo old and poor. Food was terrible. Blankets and pillows very old, looked like they were like used. The chairs were soo uncomfortable"

"I liked absolutely nothing about this. The worst airline I have ever dealt with. We missed our flight. As we were boarding the flight (we arrived well in advance) the flight attendant demanded a negative covid test. We were asked for vaccine cards at checkin, never a negative covid test. They asked us to rebook the flight, thus we missed our flight, had to book a hotel, all of our luggage was going straight to Miami so we have no change of clothes. An absolute nightmare. Next, I stood in line for OVER 2 hours to get on the next flight. They gave no apology or explanation as to the 2 hr wait, nor why we weren’t informed of the negative COVID test in advance. They then recommended a covid testing center in the airport that charged 169 euro a person. I refused and found another less expensive yet approved center. I will NEVER use this airline again, I will never recommend it and I will never come back to Germany. The entire Frankfort airport staff was wretched. Awful experience."

"The flight yesterday on 7/14/2011 was canceled. We haven’t received any notifications of the cancellation. My elderly mom had to sit in the excruciatingly hot Domodedovo airport, without any working conditioners with the temperature inside of the airport nearing 30 C, for more than 24 hours. She was afraid to get up to go to the bathroom, because she was afraid she will loose her sit at the airport. After my mom was informed that her flight was canceled, she asked, what she supposed to do now and where she should go, where would she sleep. She was told by Lufthansa representatives that it is non of their business and she can do whatever she wants. No food vouchers, nor hotel accommodations were offered to my elderly mom. My mom had to pay extra money and get another COVID test because the one she had was expiring on 7/14/2021. Nobody even cares that she has been vaccinated here in USA and has her vaccinations voutcher with her. It is horrendous, what is happening right now!!!!!! Not only my mom became a victim of shooting at her Kingsooper’s store in USA, she couldn’t even return back home to USA in a comfortable, human way after the trip that where supposed to take my mom’s mind off of the shooting at her store. Instead it is causing now enormous anxiety and fear. I am praying that tomorrow she will return back home to USA and non of her flights will be canceled again!"

А вообще спасибо: летать, как правило приятно А! Франкфурт- Москва не очень приятно стюардессы , в отличие от Орландо-Франкфурт , прям не очень."

Питание в 10 часовом рейсе было замечательным. все быстро раздавали и убирали. Еда была вкусной. Пилоты тоже очень профессиональные рейс прошел без толчков. спокойно . Спать было комфортно. Никаких очередей в туалет не было. В самолете все было замечательно."
Минусы: "Сотрудники в аэропортах. На регистрацию в аэропорт Денвера мы приехали за три часа. На паспортный контроль попали за 30 минут!!!! Очередь огромная, сотрудники бегают от стойки к стойке. Разговаривают очень грубо, что само по себе для Америки непривычно. Одного пассажира обслуживают в среднем 20 минут(!!!) То забирают багаж, то возвращают багаж - отвлекаются на возврат сразу все. Рейс задержали на полтора часа. Об этом мы узнали на стойке регистрации. На стыковочный рейс мы опоздали, поэтому попросили сотрудников сразу определить наши дальнейшие действия. Парень на стойке очень в грубой форме сказал - прилетите в Мюнхен, там подойдете в сервис. Когда прилетели в Мюнхен оказалось, что сервис не работает. Бегали по всему аэропорту. Потом подождали на одном из рейсов Люфтганзы не закончилась регистрация. Попросили сотрудника ( по английски не говорит, только по немецки!!!!) решить наш вопрос. Она с кем-то созвонилась нас отправили на другой рейс в другой терминал на поезде и автобусе (Просили ведь сопровождение в Денвере- нам грубо отказали). В итоге багаж - потеряли. Отправили во Франкфурт вместо Москвы!!! Багаж ждали три дня."

Минусы: "The head flight attendant was very brusque with clients/passengers - demanding we hand back trays in a certain way, demanding people do not get up and stand during a 3 hour flight. At one point she rushed along the aisle to the front of the plain, bumping and hurting my shoulder, but did not bother to apologize. In front of me, was a mother with a child with special needs. The mother had to stand up for some time to have the child curl up and lie in a comfortable position - the attendant rudely commanded her to sit down and strap the child to the seat, instead of finding out how they could help. She could have achieved it with a better attitude and choice of words. The crew did not bother beyond the bare minimum - it was painful to observe."

I had to let her know I had not asked before and then she proceeded to tell me the different drinks and finally added: My colleague will take care of you. She did not want to serve me. The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

Плюсы: "That was my first experience with the Airbus 380. The plane is an excellent ship and the takeoff and landing was surprisingly smooth. Flying is very stable as well. Although it has two decks you are just in one and it looks like any other long distance plane. Seats are a bit narrow but comfortable. Entertainment is individual and plenty of options. Economy cabin is divided in two sections and each section has its own lavatories."
Минусы: "The boarding and disembarking operation is never-ending and of course economy class has to wait until business and first -that are considerably large- have completed their getting out. Even with two exits for the two decks it was very slow. On boarding I also noticed that several passengers boarded the wrong deck: nobody but a generic sign was telling them what gate was theirs. With 450 or 500 passengers the chance that something goes wrong increases. In our case a passenger didn't make the connexion and the luggage had to be removed. Food is just fine. Surprisingly the beverage was extremely short of options: just wine or water, no coke or sodas. Same with supper: just coffee, water or juice. The trip was long -9 hours- but no water was offered between meals."

They were both reluctant and finally accepted my baggage but the security line was too long for me to reach departure on time. Horrible. The ladies who at the departure counter have different asnwer for my checked in baggage. I/m so tired from this domestic flight that I haven't completed."

Only after finding out about the cheese did I understand why no one took te chicken dish."

Yet after n boarding there were seats physically available that were not offered by check in staff. Meal trash was left for far too long before collection in our seats which was upper deck final rear cabin. Plane noise during flight was very low, excellent. Miami Airport is a logistical immigration process nightmare. We look forward to BA using FLL instead directly from the UK."

And those at British Aiways who bought into this design probably don't fly at all. Passengers who are sitting in a window seat must literally walk over the passenger in the aisle seat in order to get to the aisle. Flight attendants must serve the passengers on window seats right over those sitting in the aisles. The seats are narrow, and if you're sitting in the aisle, you don't even have a space to put your bottle of water or reading glasses. I can go on and on. This is my last flight on British if I can manage."

"DO NOT FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE! To start with, we were charged an extra $100 for our carry-on baggage apparently being overweight. This was not something we were told about prior to flying or we would have packed differently. During our layover in Portugal, we were delayed. Once they started to board, we got on the bus and drove out to the plane. Upon arriving at the plane, there were already two other busses there that had not even offloaded yet since they were apparently still servicing the plane. We had to stand in a crowded bus for about 45 minutes packed in like sardines. So much for social distancing and covid concerns! The plane itself was uncomfortable and the service terrible. I have flown across the Atlantic many many times on other airlines and have always received amazing service. This was not the case with TAP. Other than a small glass of water, we were only served drinks one time. There were no refills or additional service, which for a 9-hour flight is unheard of. I hated every minute of my time with TAP and will never fly with them again even if someone offered me a free ticket."

However after about 3 hours, I wanted to get some water to take medicine and I pushed the call light to get the flight attendant to come over and it was literally 45 minutes before anyone came into the economy portion. All of the flight attendants were either in first class, or hiding somewhere else. As one point 5 call lights were on and no one came. My wife got up and started looking for someone and finally I got water to take my pills. Almost an hour after I hit the call button. When the flight attendant came, I asked her if it was possible to purchase a soda, crackers, or anything as my blood sugar was low. She said there is nothing available for purchase, and did not offer anything. The only help I received was from a fellow passenger who offered a candy bar. I can not believe that there was nothing the attendant could offer me. I was willing to pay 10 euros for a soda, and they still said no. That is unacceptable."

Минусы: "The boarding process was awful! The airport itself is difficult to maneuver in. No information provided regarding the flight. Airport security and police very very rude!"

Минусы: "Wait time on buses from-to airplane to terminal was long."

Минусы: "The crew could be a little bit more accommodating. Both flights ran short of toilet paper. They don’t conduct an intermediate check of the toilets."

Плюсы: "On this prop plane, the takeoff and landing was exceptionally smooth. Again, the crew gave outstanding service."

Плюсы: "airlines could have mentioned that the second leg would require going thru security again and would take a very long time and that I should do this immediately after disembarking even though a gate had not yet been assigned. As A consequence of an intensive interview process before boarding the international leg of the trip (initially only two reps processing everyone on the plane for a few minutes each) the plane left the gate late. It also lost another 15 -20 minutes in flight making it 30 minutes late and I missed my connection in Miami necessitating me to spend a night in a motel and finish my flight the next day."
Минусы: "Had the crew enabled me to be first off the plane I would have made the connection but I lost an additional 20-25 minutes being seated in the rear of the plane"

Плюсы: "The better question is what did we not like."
Минусы: "Careless staff, unorganized, rude, long lines with slow working agents. We were traveling with our three and six year old and started with a weather delay and then eventually a cancellation. We stood at the Barcelona airport from 7pm until 2:30am with our children. Nobody offered us food vouchers, taxi or hotel. We had to ask and only got a hotel which was an hour away and taxi on us costing us over $100 euro! Everything closed and our children ate cookies from a vending machine for dinner. Finally we got to our hotel after 3am and slept until 6:30am to catch another taxi on us back to the airport just to find out it’s delayed and we would miss our connection in Madrid back to Miami. We arrived the airport again at 9am and at 3pm we’re finally given food vouchers for our hungry children to eat something. American Airlines has a direct flight from Barcelona to Miami but they insisted they couldn’t do that for us and we’d again stay another night in Barcelona at a hotel. This would all be fine if we weren’t traveling with small children, they didn’t have school and we didn’t have to work and had extra money to pay for all the inconveniences. This was by far the worst experience we’ve had and will never choose Tap again for our travels!"

Минусы: "Our tickets were economy class Y for all of our flights, and we each checked a bag free on the outbound trip. But, returning we had to pay 170 euros for our 2 checked (1 each) bags. TAP (Air Portugal) in Toulouse said our outbound flights were "Basic" fares while our return flights were "Discounted" fares. Discounted fares do not include checked bags while Basic fares include 1 free checked bag. We paid $3,106.36 for the round trip for both of us, which hardly seems like a discounted fare, before paying an additional 170 euros on the return flight. I will be looking into filing a Class Action suit trying to recover all overcharges on behalf of all passengers."

Плюсы: "The planes were fantastic, wish all other airlines provided the same amenities. There was ample leg room (even in the economy peasant class), there were innovative changes in the pullout tray, beverage holder, convenience of charging devices, a mirror, specific pockets for books/glass cases/snacks. And a very comfortable headrest which made snoozing easier."
Минусы: "Contacting TAP Customer Service was a nightmare. It took forever before anyone answered the phone &, when they did, it was VERY difficult to understand their English. Forget reaching ANYONE after 9 pm; ditto for trying to do anything online, e.g., checking in, picking seats, modifying reservations, etc. If you are forced to do anything at night, prepare yourself for total frustration."

Минусы: "Inbound flight - flight got canceled from Budapest - after calling the airline and waiting in the line the 2 first lady I was talking to put me on hold and never got back to me, the 3rd lady had no idea why the flight got canceled except it was for emergency. She said next flight would be 2 days later - after calling the insurance I booked for the flight, they didn't want to reimburse for the interruption because the airline could not explain why it got canceled and i should prove that the flight was canceled - after being 6h on the phone with airline and insurance and waiting line had to hang of without solution. I had to purchase a new ticket from another airline to be able to fly on the same day back to Miami. - after arriving at the airport next morning for the other flight it turns out that Tap Portugal booked me to British Airways but they have not send me a notification email about it, so if I do not ask at the counter for Tap Portugal for the paperwork for the insurance I would never find out that i got a new flight and i would have miss it and the insurance would have never pay for it. With the new ticket i had to purchase, my travel with Tap Portugal cost me on the end around $3000, and I do not have that much money for a ticket at all, now I have a financial trouble. Thanks, never again."

Минусы: "The entertainment for an international flight (9 hours) was horrendous. The tiny TVs were actually fuzzy and it is set up so that you cannot actually choose your movie. It is like watching TV where you may tune in to a movie 20 minutes into it playing instead of starting whatever movie you want from the beginning. To make matters worse, there was no plug-in in case you wanted to watch entertainment of your own on phone/iPad."

Минусы: "Apart from the unorganized immigration and check-in process the service is very average. On both transatlantic flights the toilets did not work properly. Furthermore the business practice to charge you for any luggage $ 90 at airport without prior notice during the booking process is quite unpleasant and uncommon for transatlantic flights. Would be good that airline as well as internet travel agent would advice about this additional costs in a more transparent way before you purchase the ticket"

Минусы: "When I booked the ticker online I was informed that I can take up to 23kg luggage, but when I checked in, I had to pay over $120 per person for luggage...I was very disappointed with th ideas treatment"

Минусы: "The Lisbon airport is very difficult to navigate; signage is poor, and there are not enough staff on the ground. The waiting lines for TAP check-in are outrageous. TAP policy states they allow choosing a seat starting 36 hours of departure, but the poorly designed website let me book seats, and then asked me to pay; at the airport they also told me I had to pay on check-in to choose a seat. Worst of all, at the gate, the waiting area forces all passengers to wait while standing in a big herd - an hour - while police spot check random passenger carry-ons and perform body checks."
